Reservation-based channel access has been shown to be effective in providing Quality of Service (QoS) guarantees (e.g., timeliness) in wireless embedded real-time applications such as mobile media streaming and networked embedded control systems. While the QoS scheduling at the central authority (i.e., base station) has received extensive attention recently, the computation of resource requirements at each individual node has been widely ignored. An inappropriate resource requirement may lead to degraded support for real-time traffic and overprovisioning of scarce network resources. this work addresses this issue by presenting a strategy for nodes to determine minimal resource reservations that guarantee the real-time constraints of their network traffic. Wide variation in programmer performance has been frequently reported in the literature. In the absence of other explanation, most managers have come to accept that the variation is due to individual characteristics. the presumption that there are order-of-magnitude differences in individual performance makes accurate cost projection seem nearly impossible. In an extensive study, 166 programmers from 35 different organizations participated in a one-day implementation benchmarking exercise. While there were wide variations across the sample, the authors found evidence that characteristics of the workplace and of the organization seemed to explain a significant part of the difference.

Node classification in complex networks plays an important role including social network analysis and recommendation systems. Some graph neural networks such as Graph Convolutional Networks (GCN) and Graph Attention Networks (GAT) have emerged as effective approaches for achieving high-performance classification in such tasks. However, constructing a graph neural network architecture is challenging particularly due to the complex task of determining the optimal number of layers. this study presents a mathematical formula for determining the optimal number of GCN and GAT hidden layers. the experiment was conducted on ten benchmark datasets, evaluating performance metrices such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and MCC for identifying the best estimation of number of hidden layers. According to the experimental findings, the number of GAT and GCN layers selected has a substantial impact on classification accuracy. Studies show that adding extra layers after the optimum number of layers has a negative or no impact on the classification performance. Our proposed approximation technique may provide valuable insights for enhancing efficiency and accuracy of the Graph Neural Network algorithms.
