Metaverse gains significant impact in the realm of innovation, business, and finance. this is the hypothesis of a tenacious, an online 3D universe that integrates different virtual spaces. this can be seen as a future iteration of the web. It is perceived as a graphically rich virtual space with some level of likeliness which is the appearance or nature of appearing to be valid or real. Metaverse can be considered as the duplicate of genuine universe, in which all current advancements will be consolidated to develop a superior innovation. On the other side in present reality, people can hear, smell, contact, taste, and feel the things, which will become believable in the virtual universe also. Metaverse creates a new reality, where people can take part in this reality with their avatars and interact with *** viable things being trendy in metaverse is the different types of software Development Kits (SDK's) available which are discussed in this paper. Metaverse has impacted the video game industry with its ability to connect to other players. As a result, users can interact and communicate with others in formats like real-time that can trick human mind in perceiving them as in the real world. © 2023 ieee.

Face detection and recognition have become essential tools in criminal identification and investigation. Face detection involves identifying individuals by comparing their facial features to a database of known faces. In criminal identification, face detection and recognition are used to identify suspects and match them to surveillance footage or images from crime scenes. It has the potential to significantly improve the accuracy and speed of criminal investigations and to increase public safety by enabling law enforcement to identify and apprehend dangerous criminals more quickly. However, the use of face detection and recognition technology also raises ethical and privacy concerns, as it can potentially be used to track individuals without their consent or to discriminate against certain groups. It is therefore important to use these tools responsibly and transparently and to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect individual rights and freedoms. © 2023 ieee.

In the past, skyline pattern mining algorithms have achieved extensive research. the current algorithms for mining skyline patterns are inefficient and time-consuming. In practical applications, they may be inadequate because traditional skyline patterns can result in points that are extremely biased towards one dimension. therefore, this paper introduces a novel approach for mining skyline patterns that incorporates threshold settings. Unlike traditional methods, this new approach uses multiple thresholds to eliminate extreme points that don't meet the user's requirements in certain dimensions. By doing so, the number of candidate search items is greatly reduced, resulting in a more efficient and effective search process. the proposed algorithm was evaluated through extensive experiments on various databases, and its performance was compared with that of popular existing skyline pattern mining algorithms. the results demonstrate that the new approach not only yields a more streamlined and optimized set of results, but also outperforms previous algorithms in terms of both runtime and search space. © 2023 ieee.

Stress is a common mental health problem that affects individuals from all walks of life. It can manifest in various forms, such as emotional, physical, or cognitive distress. the detection of stress in individuals is crucial for early intervention and treatment. However, traditional methods of stress detection, such as self-report surveys or physiological measures have limitations. In recent years, a social media platform like Twitter, have become a rich source of data for studying mental health. this study proposes the use of deep learning techniques, specifically the combination of LSTM and 1D CNN, to detect human stress levels from social media posts, particularly tweets. By leveraging Kaggle Twitter datasets alongside of the recent original Tweets, the model was well trained and validated, achieving high accuracy levels in stress detection. © 2023 ieee.

Facial Expression Recognition has a wide application prospect in social robotics, health care, driver fatigue monitoring, and many other practical scenarios. Automatic recognition of facial expressions has been extensively studied by the computer Vision research society. But Facial Expression Recognition in real-world is still a challenging task, partially due to the long-tailed distribution of the dataset. Many recent studies use data augmentation for Long-Tailed Recognition tasks. In this paper, we propose a novel semantic augmentation method. By introducing randomness into the encoding of the source data in the latent space of VAE-GAN, new samples are generated. then, for facial expression recognition in RAF-DB dataset, we use our augmentation method to balance the long-tailed distribution. Our method can be used in not only FER tasks, but also more diverse data-hungry scenarios. © 2023 ieee.

In today's global marketplace, fake goods detection is a problem that is becoming more and more significant. the growth of fake products can harm consumers, cause brand reputation damage, and cost real firms money. the usage of blockchain technology is one potential fix for this issue. Blockchain is a distributed ledger technology that makes it possible to trace transactions securely and openly. Blockchain can aid in preventing the creation and sale of counterfeit goods by creating an unchangeable and impenetrable record of the supply chain. Smart contracts can be used in this situation to automate the verification process and make sure that only genuine goods are sold through legitimate channels. this essay will examine the drawbacks and potential advantages of using blockchain technology to identify counterfeit goods. © 2023 ieee.

In the recruitment process, continued screening assumes a fundamental part in distinguishing qualified contenders for a specific employment opportunity. A huge issue that scouts face is the tedious course of manual screening of resumes. To resolve this issue, this paper proposes the utilization of three ML calculations, in particular K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Weighted K-Nearest Neighbors (WKNN), and Support Vector Machine KNN (SVM KNN), for the mechanized screening of resumes. the dataset was manually created consisting of two segments that incorporate various classes like CA, advocate, engineering, and so forth, and the related resume portrayals. the dataset was utilized to prepare and assess the precision of the calculations. the trial concentrates on showing that Weighted KNN outperforms KNN and SVM KNN with an accuracy of 74%. the strategy can empower selection representatives to smooth out their enrollment interaction and distinguish qualified applicants rapidly and cost-effectively. © 2023 ieee.

Chaotic local search based differential evolutionary optimization algorithm (CJADE) is an improved algorithm based on JADE. It incorporates the ideas of chaotic mapping and local search to enhance the global and local search capabilities of differential evolutionary algorithms. Although the performance of this algorithm has been greatly improved compared with the original algorithm, there are still some shortcomings, such as insufficient exploitation ability, slow convergence, insufficient exploration ability, and easy to lead to local optimum. To solve these problems, we propose a linearly decreasing strategy named L-CJADE, which changes the original population structure and introduces a linearly decreasing population structure to balance the relationship between development ability and exploration ability, making the algorithm more stable and suitable for practical problems. the L-CJADE algorithm was compared with other state-of-the-art algorithms in terms of problem sets. the results show that it has better optimization ability and faster convergence speed along with relatively high stability compared to other algorithms. © 2023 ieee.

Nowadays, many communication signals and radar signals coexist in the battlefield environment and civil life, and the spectrum resources are increasingly scarce. To prevent mutual interference between radar and electronic systems in the same frequency band, based on waveform design and diversity, this paper studies spectrum coexisting waveform design of radar to solve the spectrum congestion problem (SCP). First, we establish a mathematical model of spectrum coexistence waveform design on the idea of spectrum shaping. then, we apply constant modulus constraint, peak-to-average (PAR) power ratio constraint and similarity constraint to the model and solve them respectively. For the constant modulus constraint model, we use alternating iteration method (AIM) and SHAPE algorithm to solve it. After converting the original model into a simpler equal form, we use KKT condition to successfully deal with the PAR problem and give a good solution to the similarity constraint problem. Finally, the numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the excellent performance of our models. © 2023 ieee.

this paper investigates the impact of sequence parameters over a wide frequency range of an overhead transmission line when it considers the calculation of parameters of the line physically more consistent and soil properties that vary with frequency. For this purpose, it is calculated to the ground-return impedance and admittance of the transmission line using Petterson's approach, which employs a more rigorous voltage formulation. Additionally, in this calculation, soil properties were included using the frequency-dependent soil model. For comparison, the results from the ATP program, which employs in the calculation of parameters of the line Carson's approach, were used;this approach considers the less rigorous voltage formulation, assumes ideal ground conditions for ground-return impedance and admittance calculations, and does not consider frequency-dependent soil parameters. the results demonstrate that using physically more consistent line parameters and frequency-dependent soil parameters leads to significant differences in several parameters of homopolar and non-homopolar sequences. these significant differences are particularly notable in homopolar and non-homopolar resistances, homopolar inductance, homopolar capacitance, homopolar propagation velocity, and homopolar and non-homopolar attenuation constants. © 2024 ieee.
