Agricultural-based food visibility and traceability systems are designed to monitor the production and distribution of food from farm to table. this type of system allows for tracking of food from its origin, such as the farm, to its destination, such as a grocery store or restaurant. It may be employed to prevent the wastage of food, prevent adulteration, and ensure food security. this system also allows for the traceability of food products, so that any potential issues can be identified and addressed quickly. By using a food visibility and traceability system, consumers can be confident that the food they purchase is safe, fresh, and of high quality. the system is designed to provide a real-time view of the food products, their origin, quality, and safety. this system also allows for tracking of the product's journey from the farm, to the processing facility, to the warehouse, to the distributor, and ultimately to the end user. It also allows for the traceability of all the ingredients used in food production, providing a comprehensive view of the entire supply chain. the research mainly targets tracing agricultural food products using Blockchain technologies. the experimental analysis will be conducted by comparing the two algorithms namely, Consensus and Bitcoin SHA-256. the consensus algorithm used in an agricultural-based food visibility and traceability system can be either a proof of work (PoW) or a Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) consensus algorithm, and lack in security. Alternatively, the Bitcoin SHA-256 algorithm is used to secure various aspects of the Agricultural-based Food Visibility and Traceability System. Bitcoin SHA-256 is used to generate secure digital signatures for digital certificates and to ensure secure communications between the system and its users. © 2023 ieee.

the safety of the vehicles is given great importance by advanced intelligent transportation systems. We are here to make sure that swift transit vehicles and infrastructure communicate with one other quickly. the majority of the vehicles need regular monitoring for appropriate warnings and road maps to achieve their ultimate objective in a timely manner in the hill station bad environment, and travel in hairpin bends and risky turning in particular is a duty that is vital for ITS. Here, my study will provide a strategy for preventing accidents by applying a sophisticated early warning system before notifying the car in a certain circumstance. In order to prevent accidents, machine learning is a technique where the system automatically learns and enhances the rapid object detection stage in bobby pin road turning scenarios. Here, my study offers effective unsupervised learning of these characteristics based on the acquired data, which in turn serves as the foundation for the clustering I performed, which successfully builds a mobile ad hoc network. In this work, we suggested an innovative automated discovering vehicle prier that uses the UNetXST technique in real-time to notify warring for vehicle in three-way shining LED light with blinking mode, slowing warring message in display unit, and beep alarm sound. By combining V2I and V2V technologies and sending messages to the central traffic light management system, we highlighted safety and communication. In worst-case scenarios, we employ a v2v technology sensor to detect the vehicle that will cross the junction road, and we investigate two-way merging technology's potential to implement and resolve these problems in transparent object tracking in the turning system. We looked at future direction and hurdles at this time in addition to a case study illustrating a VANET-based scenario of a critical urban road turning, receiving the earliest notice to flee from a traffic collision, and experiencing the perfect EV momen

this research paper presents an automated interview system that utilizes natural language processing and deep learning techniques to conduct job interviews. the system comprises 4 modules, the first one being resume classification system, which is built on state-of-the-art NLP architecture and transformer-based BERT model. the model uses Named Entity Recognition and Text Classification to extract relevant information from the resume. the resume classification algorithm is based on the principle of context relevance, and skill mentions in the resumes are validated through an analysis of the candidate's experience and completed projects before being classified. the subsequent module utilizes the output from the resume model to generate a set of relevant interview questions for the candidate through utilizing natural language processing techniques and semantic analysis. the difficulty of the following questions is adjusted owing to the interviewee's answer, very much like what human HRs do. Such questions are extracted with the help of web scraping by selenium driver. One of the most innovative parts of this system is its ability to reduce bias in the hiring process by using machine learning models to evaluate candidate responses. the following module assesses the candidate's personality during the interview using the CNN and LSTM models. In addition to generating relevant interview questions, the system also detects potential instances of misconduct or malpractice during the interview process using Open CV'S DNN module and a quantized model. Overall, this system has the potential to revolutionize the way companies conduct job interviews and improve the hiring process. © 2023 ieee.

In today's modern world, IoT plays an important and multifaceted function in all industries. 5th Generation Wireless systems - 5G is the primary technical platform on which the Internet of things plays a major role in smart technologies. Incorporating 5G technology into the architecture of an IoT system is now simple. Using plug-and-play technology, remote access to configuration and control is possible. Smart technology always results in faster data transfer rates, more bandwidth, greater capacity, lower latency, and a quicker output response. Based on this notion, IoT brings about a dramatic shift in heterogeneous networks. So, there is a need to implement 5G-IoT technologies. In the age of the Internet of things, the fifth-generation (5G) cellular networks give the smart and complex technical environment. 5G Cellular Networks offer great growth potential for IoT technologies. this article gives a thorough study of the role of 5G Cellular Networks in the expansion of IoT technologies across all industries. Since the inclusion of renewable energy emerges as a new trend in the digital world, 5G is very beneficial in the age of the Internet of things. the generation level from photovoltaic (PV) solar energy has grown significantly in recent years. A future trend will be using PV inverters to provide auxiliary services. However, this equipment is the most prone to failure in PV systems even before it. thermal stress is the main trigger for aging failures. this work used the mission profile of the city of Teresina (Brazil) to perform thermal simulations on semiconductor switches through the PSIM's thermal module. No literature records were found using mission profile data for thermal analysis in this software. this paper presents a methodology for generating a dataset to predict the semiconductor's junction temperature Tj and its swings Δ Tj. this proposal integrates operational, environmental, and component-specific features simulated through PSIM's thermal module. In this way, choosing components most suitable to withstand the expected thermal stresses and better thermal management can be allowed, assisting in developing adequate cooling strategies and service life prediction. © 2023 ieee.

In recent past, Convolutional Neural Network becomes a prominent methodology used in Music Information Retrieval (MIR) projects, such as audio classification, mood recognition, auto tagging of music then on. Music auto tagging is a preeminent research crux and modern advances in audio analysis algorithms hasten the improvement of automatic music tagging system. In particular, many new systems use Convolutional Neural Network and function on raw audio wave form as input or Mel-spectrogram representation as input data. However, due to diversity in the exploratory setups developed by researchers, for instance, using different dataset split and software versions, it is challenging to compare the proposed architectures. We looked at the EfficientNets model family in this research, which achieves state-of-the-art performance on the music auto tagging and provides assessment measures such as Precision, Recall, F1score, Accuracy, Confusion Matrix & ROC-AUC. © 2022 ieee.

the rapid evolution of cloud-native technologies has facilitated seamless application deployment and execution across the entire edge-to-cloud continuum. this continuum offers a myriad of benefits, including reduced latency, optimized bandwidth utilization, enhanced data privacy, improved reliability, scalability, and flexibility. However, realizing a coherent edge-to-cloud continuum poses challenges especially in resource management, due to the heterogeneous and dynamic nature of computing resources such as resource scheduling and load balancing. this paper focuses on the Container-as-a-Service model enabling independent execution of functions/microservices anywhere on the continuum. We propose an architectural design for constructing a practical edge-to-cloud infrastructure and conduct comprehensive performance evaluations using a real edge-to-cloud testbed. through an empirical study, we aim to identify key factors impacting application performance and resource management within the continuum, with a specific focus on AI-based IoT applications. Our experiments explore various design patterns including load balancing techniques, scheduling algorithms, invocation methods, gateway and data source location, and factors such as bandwidth and delay, providing practical insights for practitioners and researchers alike. © 2024 ieee.

Gesture Recognition based fingertip air writing to text converter which permits to write and sketch text characters in fore of a web camera in the laptop computer over the air. the two main tasks of proposed methods are a blue-colored object is taken in the hand. To perceive the written characters from video frames, a blue-colored object is being tracked and optical English text reformation is applied over the plotted images. Additionally, a stylus pen, touchscreen pen, keyboard, glove or any other device is not required for giving input characters a habitual human-computer interaction is developed to address it. Application based on Open CV with the python language is designed for experimental purposes. It is relevantly a straightforward software-based approach, which is effortless and effective. Moreover, it requires a web camera and a blue-colored object other than hardware or any other sensors. © 2022 ieee.

this paper presents a low-cost PV emulator for testing PV panels in laboratory conditions. the emulator uses a DC power supply and a DC-DC converter. the converter is controlled through a closed-loop control system. the controller is an Arduino UNO board that regulates the output voltage of the converter. the reference value is given by a PV panel model simulated using a LabVIEW program running on a computer. the Arduino controller communicates with this computer via a USB connection, sending measurement values from the sensors (irradiance, temperature, and voltage) and receiving the reference value for the converter. It also displays the reference value on an electronic display. the software component of the emulator is based on the Model-View-Controller (MVC) paradigm. the LabVIEW program houses the PV panel model but also works as an HMI (the view) for the user, displaying the measured and computed values, plotting the current operating point on the PV characteristic curves, etc. the C program running on the Arduino board is the controller. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Modern programming languages, such as Java, use exception-handling mechanisms to guarantee the robustness of software systems. Although important, the quality of exception code is usually poor and neglected by developers. Indiscriminate robustness changes (e.g., the addition of empty catch blocks) can indicate design decisions that negatively impact the internal quality of software systems. As it is known in the literature, multiple occurrences of poor code structures, namely code smells, are strong indicators of design problems. Still, existing studies focus mainly on the correlation of maintainability smells with design problems. However, using only these smells may not be enough since developers need more context (e.g., system domain) to identify the problems in certain scenarios. Moreover, these studies do not explore how changes in the exceptional code of the methods combined with maintainability smells can give complementary evidence of design problems. By covering both regular and exception codes, the developer can have more context about the system and find complementary code smells that reinforce the presence of design problems. this work aims to leverage the identification of design problems by tracking poor robustness changes combined with maintainability smells. We investigated the correlation between robustness changes and maintainability smells on the commit history of more than 160k methods from different releases of 10 open-source software systems. We observed that maintainability smells can be worsened or even introduced when robustness changes are performed. this scenario mainly happened for the smells Feature Envy, Long Method, and Dispersed Coupling. We also analyzed the co-occurrence between robustness and maintainability smells. We identified that the empty catch block and catch throwable robustness smells were the ones that co-occurred the most with maintainability smells related to the Concern Overload and Misplaced Concern design problems.
