A novel dataset with the goal of advancing the state-of-the-art in fire detection by focusing the question of fire detection in the context of small-scale urban fire detection is proposed in this paper. this is achieved by gathering images of various scenes containing the small or early fire in urban areas. Flames are labeled using bounding boxes through manual work to aid in object localization. Up till now, there are over a total of 2600 images labeled in our dataset. the creation of the proposed dataset draws people's attention to the detection performance of common fire detecting algorithms on such small fire datasets. the experimental results show the comparison between the proposed dataset and other fire detection datasets. the baseline performance analysis provided by several popular detection models for the bounding box detection results is also presented in the experiment of the paper. © 2022 ieee.

Traditional flame detection often requires professional equipment and personnel, which is inefficient and prone to false positives, making it difficult to meet the needs of daily fire safety detection. At the same time, current flame detection methods based on neural network image recognition are also difficult to meet the requirements of real-time and accuracy. In order to improve the performance of flame detection, this paper proposes a flame target detection algorithm based on improved YOLOv5. First, changing the activation function of the model to FReLU can not only improve the feature expression ability of the model, but also enhance the nonlinear fitting ability of the model and reduce the occurrence of Vanishing gradient problem. Secondly, replace the part of the backbone network of yolov5 with the Fasternet network, and extract spatial features more effectively by reducing redundant computing and memory access at the same time. the improved algorithm has an average inspection accuracy improvement of 3.2% compared to the original YOLOv5s algorithm, while reducing the number of model parameters by 11% and increasing the detection speed by 41%. © 2023 ieee.

In this study, we consider projects for the development of machine learning (ML) service systems that apply ML techniques to enterprise functions, and propose a method of representing the architecture and design patterns for ML service systems. Based on the proposed method, we represent the items described in the pattern documents as elements in the enterprise architecture modeling and derived a generic model for ML architecture and designed patterns. By applying the proposed method and the generic pattern model, we analyze an existing ML design pattern and represent it as a model. through modeling practice, we confirm that an effective use scenario occurs when using the represented model during the project activities, and we can revise or enhance the pattern documents consistently by applying the model.

the enterprise Architecture and Systems Engineering communities are often faced with complexity barriers that develop due to the fact that modern systems must be agile and resilient. this requires dynamic changes to the system so as to adapt to changing missions as well as changes in the internal and external environments. the requirement is not entirely new, but practitioners need guidance on how to manage the life cycle of such systems. this is a problem because we must be able to architect systems by alleviating the difficulties in systems life cycle management (e.g., by helping the enterprise- or systems engineer organise and maintain models and architecture descriptions of the system of interest). Building on Pask's conversation theoretic model of aware (human or machine) individuals, the paper proposes a reference model for systems that maintain their own models real time, act efficiently, and create system-level awareness on all levers of aggregation.

Process discovery is an important area in the field of process mining, where most discovery algorithms focus on process control-flow, giving little attention to the data-flow perspective. As a result, the discovered process models lack information about data dependencies, and process experts need to manually enrich the discovered process models accordingly. this requires deep domain knowledge, is not scalable, and error-prone. To overcome this limitation, this paper proposes an approach that aims to discover the data objects and their behavior by investigating how event attributes are manipulated during process execution. the resulting data objects are used to enhance the discovered process model. the feasibility of the proposed approach is evaluated with two real-life event logs: Road Traffic Fine Management and Hospital Billing.

the preliminary work of power transmission and transformation engineering design tasks relies on the precise survey of terrain to ensure the high-quality completion of design tasks. therefore, developing a technology that can accurately and efficiently survey the construction area has become a hot topic in the field of electrical design research. However, identifying the location and precise boundaries of geospatial targets of different scales and densities from high-resolution natural environment images captured by drones remains a challenge. To address this issue, we improved upon the YOLOv8 algorithm by incorporating the concept of the YOLACT algorithm, proposing a novel instance segmentation algorithm—FIseg-YOLO, specifically designed for recognizing geospatial targets in power transmission and transformation line projects. this algorithm integrates various attention mechanism modules in the backbone network, effectively improving the accuracy of target recognition against complex backgrounds. Simultaneously, we optimized the neck network structure by enhancing the multi-path fusion of the network, achieving multi-level feature fusion between different layers. Additionally, the algorithm adds a multi-scale detection head to the basic network structure to extract shallow information from the input image and combine it with the feature fusion network to detect objects across a broader scale. Experimental validation on the geospatial orthophoto dataset shows that the mAP@.5 of the FIseg-YOLO model reached 67.3%, a 6.6% increase compared to the YOLOv8 base model, indicating a significant improvement in model performance. this improvement is of great significance for enhancing the efficiency of preliminary survey tasks in power transmission and transformation engineering. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

New mobility services (NMS) with innovative business models become more and more popular in cities and urban areas. this paper intends to make a scientific contribution to the field of enterprise architecture management in public transport companies. Previous work discovered the need for a recommendation or a standardized approach for the NMS integration into EA. Reference architectures intend to offer such recommendations, but the analysis of existing work showed that established reference architectures do not cover NMS sufficiently. thus, the focus of this work is (a) examination of the feasibility of extending public transportation reference architectures and (b) developing the initial design of such an extension based on a complex real-world case. A demand-oriented in addition to supply-oriented approach to public transportation is one of the proposed features of the reference.

this paper first discusses the concept, architecture and technical advantages of cloud computing. Secondly, focusing on the operational requirements of future information warfare, the development trend of existing fire control platforms is analyzed and the concept of cloud fire control is proposed. Taking the ground combat platform as the object, the basic principle, system structure and composition of the cloud fire control of the ground combat platform are analyzed and designed in depth. Finally, the key technologies of distributed dynamic networking, mobile cooperative awareness, and multi-platform collaborative attack and decision-making that need to be solved in cloud fire control system are pointed out, which can provide reference for the development of cloud fire control system for future ground combat platforms. © 2022 ieee.

In contemporary society, individuals are increasingly exhibiting heightened awareness and concern on matters pertaining to social and environmental dimensions. Businesses of various scales, encompassing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), are expected to adhere to rigorous criteria pertaining to social and environmental accountability. this study introduces a set of evaluation criteria that aim to guarantee the sustainable selection of suppliers for MSMEs. these criteria encompass economic, social, and environmental factors. Furthermore, the sub-criteria include quality, price, delivery time, eco-reputation, reusability, CSR, and information disclosure. the AHP-VIKOR technique facilitates the assignment of weights to individual criteria and the ranking of alternatives based on their overall performance by considering both the maximizing and minimizing objective functions of each criterion, along with the provided weights for each criterion. the case study utilized an Indonesian company, referred to as X company, to validate the findings. the usefulness and stability of the research technique proposed in this study were confirmed by the application of sensitivity analysis. © 2023 ieee.

In rummage-sale, an image retrieval is a method for browsing, searching and retrieving images from large databases of digital photos. object Based Video Retrieval (OBVR) is the concept to be used when there is a need to search the video which contains the required object in some of its frames. the OBVR system is an energetic field of research. Numerous researchers have suggested a change from coloring histograms to blocking grounded strategies in recent years. In this proposed approach multiple feature extraction is used, based on the color, edge and shape the videos are retrieved from the database. First, objects are identified and separated from the key frames using segmentation. then, features are extracted from the segmented object, also from the query object features are extracted and finally both features are compared with the feature database. If the feature of the query object is matched with any of the groups in the shot, all the frames in the shot are retrieved in the shot. In this proposed method, experimentally proved that the results are more efficient in standings of the precision and recall calculation. © 2022 ieee.
