With the advent of disruptive methodologies to ensure higher success rates in software engineering processes, the agile software development principles have gained the interest of large organizations. agile methodology is characterized by iterative and incremental nature, customer-oriented development, adaptability and brisk development cycles. this study analyses the criteria of gathering data and evaluation is conducted by the expert's judgement from which valuable information is extracted to deliver quality software. Critical Success Factors (CSF) is dynamic in implementing an autonomous methodology using entropy approach from the organisation perspective CSF must be known initially following the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) which is a multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach. the approach's aim is to in parallel minimize and maximise the critical factors. CSF which needs more attention are emphasized from this research findings and is arranged from high to low. We conclude this study by selecting the best software methodology using entropy and TOPSIS. © 2020 IEEE.

Radio engineering courses are complex for comprehension from the visual point of view. therefore, this aspect decreases the level of understanding among students that study them. But the problem can be solved by explicit demonstration of inner hidden processes. the paper covers the development of virtual laboratory work based on the Unity game engine allowing investigation and discovery of the experience of radio engineers. the article's structure gradually goes through all the stages of the development process. Beginning with a literature review and observation of existing software, it continues with a physical and mathematical basis that lies in the core of the application. then goes the describing part, which indicates programming tools. Particularly the Unity game engine features are shown. After that, the work sheds light on the development process, where each stage and every part of the application is indicated.

To develop well designed socio-technical systems for a particular context user involvement is essential. Emerging software development approaches that enable continuous delivery of software functionalities provide new opportunities as to how users can be involved in shaping the design. We present a case study of a software project at a Norwegian engineering and construction company in their effort to move towards a user-centred development approach that leverages on continuous delivery principles. We investigate how user representatives in form of super users have been involved in the process and their role in forming and implementing new digital technology in practice. We conclude that utilising super users have been instrumental to design a system that meet users' needs. Providing opportunities to test the system in a production environment gave rise to new ideas on how to further refine the design. Involving super users also facilitated system adoption among workers.

Context: A product roadmap is an important tool in product development. It sets the strategic direction in which the product is to be developed to achieve the company's vision. However, for product roadmaps to be successful, it is essential that all stakeholders agree with the company's vision and objectives and are aligned and committed to a common product plan. Objective: In order to gain a better understanding of product roadmap alignment, this paper aims at identifying measures, activities and techniques in order to align the different stakeholders around the product roadmap. Method: We conducted a grey literature review according the guidelines to Garousi et al. Results: Several approaches to gain alignment were identified such as defining and communicating clear objectives based on the product vision, conducting cross-functional workshops, shuttle diplomacy, and mission briefing. In addition, our review identified the "Behavioural Change Stairway Model" that suggests five steps to gain alignment by building empathy and a trustful relationship.

Context: DevOps is an increasingly popular approach to software development and software operations. Being understood as mutually integrated, both activities have been re-united under one single label. In contrast to traditional software development activities, DevOps promotes numerous fundamental changes, and the area of software testing is not an exception. Yet, the exact appearance of software testing within DevOps is poorly understood, so is the notion of TestOps. Objective: this paper explores TestOps as a concept rooted in industrial practice. Method: To provide a pluralist outline of practitioners' views on What is TestOps, the YouTube platform was searched for digital content containing either "TestOps" or "DevTestOps" in the content title. through a qualitative lens, the resulting set was systematically annotated and thematically analyzed in an inductive manner. Results: Referring to DevOps, practitioners use the notion of TestOps when characterizing a conceptual shift that occurs within the area of software testing. As a matter of fact, two dominant categories were found in the data: (i) TestOps as a new organizational philosophy;(ii) TestOps as an innovative software technique (i.e. process supported by technology). A set of high-level themes within each of these categories was identified and described. Conclusion: the study outlines an inconsistency in practitioner perspectives on the nature of TestOps. To decrease the identified conceptual ambiguity, the proposed model posits two complementary meanings of TestOps.

yInternet of things (IoT), and in general the Internet of Everything (IoE), are deeply influencing the business processes Digital Transformation, also in the Public Administration context, introducing new actors and interactions among People, Process, Data and things. therefore, a re -design of the processes or the creation of new ones is necessary, in a way that the design of a public service meets needs and skills of different end users (citizens, business managers, experts, etc.). this paper presents a framework for the design of public service user interfaces that, on the basis of domain ontologies and BPMn extensions, support the modeling of new interactions with IoT and bot services, in particular Telegram Bots, in the context of public administration processes. A service semantic annotation model can be shared with and reused by other organizations, thus reducing the user interface design and implementation time, and consequently the overall service development time.

this workshop explored the main research challenges in conducting agile software development in large-scale software development. We considered multi-site companies with projects that include a large number of teams which develop sophisticated systems by adopting and using agile methods. Such topics include inter-team coordination, knowledge sharing, agile transformations, and project management models that facilitate multiple cooperating self-organising teams. the keynote talk, by Darja Smite, provided empirical results on communities of practice within the music streaming service Spotify. We accepted five full research papers which are included in this volume. these five papers report empirical research studies using surveys, observational and case studies. Workshop participants also worked together in groups to establish current research topics and priorities. this workshop summary contributes a current snapshot of research along with future research agendas in the field of large-scale agile development.
