this paper presents an effective system tosimulate 3D lattice Monte Carlo algorithms ofpolymer on the computational grid. In thissystem, there are Agent and some workers. Sincethe data can be transferred between Agent andworker, the effective grid calculation model ofparallel 3D Monte Carlo can be constructed onthe Grid environment. this paper develops adistributed computing technique to computemolecular dynimacs problems and to constructthe information infrastructure for internationalcollaboration.

Implementing image-processing systems can require significant effort and resources due to information volume and algorithm complexity. Model integrated computing (MIC) based image processing systems show promise in supporting solutions of these complex problems. While MIC has contributed to the advancement of performing complex image processing tasks on parallel-embedded systems, it has not addressed a challenging class of algorithms that adapt the image-processing algorithm based on the information or state of the image processing system. this proposed effort addresses creating an adaptive image-processing environment based on MIC that allows solutions of complex image processing problems to be built and executed rapidly. this effort involves creating a new modeling representation for image processing adaptation mechanisms. the proposed MIC-based adaptive image-processing environment generates a solution given the modeling constraints and executes it on a number of hardware architectures.

Network Management based on intelligent agent ismotivated by the development of distributed networkmanagement. this paper provides a multi-agent basednetwork management framework, which presents multi-agent collaboration environment. In the frameworkestablished in this paper, we propose a taskdecompositionmodule to decompose networkmanagement tasks into several parallel networkmanagement sub-tasks, and then provide multi-agentcooperation methods for multi-agent systemconsidering the characteristic of network managementfunction. Decreasing tasks execution time and agentmigration times is the aim of the method proposed inthis paper.

this paper presents a practical approach toimplement data flow dominated System-on-Chip systemwith real-time requirements. With data flow model and avirtual component (VC)-oriented implementationarchitecture, the approach has the advantages ofeffectively supporting design reuse or *** bus architecture reduces the design complexityand implementation cost and provides an effective waysto meet real-time constraints. Based on the architecturesome important aspects such as bus arbitrating, VCframework are described, these techniques are criticalfactors for achieving design goal.

In this paper we attempt online person identification by signature recognition and also from the natural writing of a person. the basic interest is in the novelty of the technique and the methodology utilized. Our system is based on a newly developed spatio-temporal artificial neuron (STAN), which is well adapted for the recognition of spatio-temporal patterns. this neuron has the capability to process continuous asynchronous spatio-temporal data sequences and compares them with the help of Hermitian distance. the architecture of the systems developed for both of these person identification problems is identical. It is based on three modules: preprocessing, feature detection and classification. the second and third modules are based on neural architectures, which have STANs as their neurons. the architecture and training of weights of the second module is based on a spatio-temporal adaptation of Kmeans algorithm and the third module is based on an adaptation of the RCE algorithm. the results obtained Jor both the applications are encouraging.

One of the major drawbacks to using speech as the input to any pervasive environment is the requirement to balance accuracy with the high processing overheads involved. this paper presents an Arabic speech recognition system (called UbiqRec), which address this issue by providing a natural and intuitive way of communicating within ubiquitous environments, while balancing processing time, memory and recognition accuracy. A hybrid approach has been used which incorporates spectrographic information, singular value decomposition, concurrent self-organizing maps (CSOM) and pitch contours for Arabic phoneme recognition. the approach employs separate self-organizing maps (SOM) for each Arabic phoneme joined in parallel to form a CSOM. the performance results confirm that with suitable preprocessing of data, including extraction of distinct power spectral densities (PSD) and singular value decomposition, the training time for CSOM was reduced by 89%. the empirical results also proved that overall recognition accuracy did not fall below 91%.

the cognitive abilities of the anticipatory classifier system (ACS) have already been successfully shown in earlier work [20]. this report takes inspiration from some philosophical ideas for the purpose of dreaming in animals and humans. this is supported by recent neurological studies that show that rats revisit recent situations in a way that suggests dreaming [25]. An extension is made to the ACS that uses the incomplete information contained in the classifier list as a basis for an abstract world model in which to interact or dream. the abstract thread or dream direction is an emergent property of the selection process, this can be used to recycle around well known states and reduce real world interaction. the system is applied to the classic T-maze experiment and demonstrates that considerably less interactions with the real world are required in order to develop a confident world model. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2004.

Pilot symbol assisted hybrid detection for OFDM-based spatial multiplexing systems

In this paper, we provide a new detection scheme for a pilot symbol assisted interference nulling and cancellation operation to reduce unexpected effects owing to parallel transmission in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)-based spatial multiplexing systems. We have shown that the investigated OFDM vertical Bell laboratories layered space time (VBLAST) detection based on hybrid processing performs better than ordinary OFDM-VBLAST detections based on serial processing and parallel processing, respectively.

We introduce a new algorithm that combines the stigmergetic capabilities of the ant colony optimization (AGO) with local search heuristics to solve the maximum and maximum-weighted clique problem. Our new algorithm: A reactive prohibition-based ant colony optimization (RPACOMCP), complements the intelligent ant colony search with a prohibition-based diversification technique, where the amount of diversification is determined in an automated way through a feedback (history-sensitive) scheme. Based on prohibition, some local moves are temporarily prohibited in order to avoid repeated cycles in the search trajectory and to explore new parts of the total search space. Diversification could be enforced and the ACO search continued beyond local optimal points. One of the main advantages of this approach is the use of parallelism both to have a number of ant colonies searching simultaneously and to have a function distribution of local search procedures. this architecture thus provides a powerful tool to tackle difficult problems using all available processing power. the algorithm is tested on many representative DIMACS benchmark graph instances and results are compared with GLS [E. Marchiori, (2002)], a genetic local search approach for MCP. It is shown that the proposed PACO algorithm finds larger cliques in reasonable time, on average, on a wide majority of benchmark instances of the DIMACS library, even though it does not reach the best known results on a few benchmark instances. We also showed that the PACO algorithm outperforms the nonprohibition version on most hard graph instances.
