Withthe development of small satellites at present and the needs of small satellites for space flying mission, the fundamental technologies of hardware structure supporting reconfigurable computing based on FPGA and the distributedcomputing technology are analyzed in this paper. the application of these two technologies in formation-flying pico-satellites communication is demonstrated, and it is verified through an experiment of distributed compressing images that the distribution technology can be implemented in such a reconfigurable hardware structure. the combination of these two technologies can make good use of software and hardware sources of pico-satellite. A design scheme of pico-satellite based on these two technologies is presented at last.

Wireless location has received increasing attention in the last decade, and the introduction of distributed multi-antenna in 4G system has brought in extra information for high accuracy location. In this paper, a novel antenna selection algorithm in distributed multi-antenna system is proposed. By analyzing the least square error of TDOA location method and its relationship with locations of antennas utilized, factors are designed to indicate this relationship, and then we can find the most proper antennas to locate the MS. Simulation results show that the proposed antenna selection algorithm outperforms the traditional methods, which indicates our antenna selection algorithm can be applied in distributed multi-antenna systems effectively.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are collection of large number of sensor nodes that are used for essential monitoring purposes. they include many applications such as military and security applications, elementary monitoring, seismic monitoring, industrialized automation, wellness and robust monitoring etc. Due to its distributed nature and interconnected network approach, they are considered common target among attackers. WSNs are unprotected due to many attacks like illegal access, malicious node attack, wormhole attack, jamming attack, insider attack, cloning attack, routing attack and node capturing attack etc. Node capturing attack leads to node replication attack which is considered dangerous because after capturing node, attacker may extract all the encrypted information and further introduce many insider attacks. In node replication attack, attacker tries to capture the sensor node and if he becomes successful then he generates the replica which appears to be genuine. this paper reviews the various types of identification schemes and protocols contrary to replication attack.

In this paper, we give one approach of switching between two connected dominating set (CDS) construction protocols, one suitable for low load and the other suitable for higher load. In this method, the two connected dominating sets are computed in advance and switching is done between the two precomputed outputs. A huge amount of data is everyday produced, even in many critical business sectors, in a distributed, collaborative way withthe support of spreadsheet applications. the manual fusion of such data often yields errors: copy-paste operations, loss of alignment and coherency due to multiple spreadsheet copies or broken cross-spreadsheet links. these problems are partially addressed by two of the principal software platforms for collaboration: Microsoft SharePoint and Google Docs. After describing features and tools of the two platforms specifically designed for spreadsheet collaboration, pointing out differences and limitations, we propose SpreadComp, a spreadsheet composition platform based on three new collaboration patterns which span users and data interaction from the simplest flat scenario to more structured and hierarchical ones. We discuss the positioning of our collaboration patterns with respect to the analyzed existing approaches and we present the SpreadComp architecture and its prototype implementation.

So the challenge rises how we can process those huge datasets withthe fulfillment of strict time criteria and of effective resource consumption, usually posed by the service consumers. this problem is not yet resolved withthe appearance of edge computing as widearea networking and all its well-known issues come into play and affect the performance of the applications scheduled in a hybrid edge-cloud infrastructure. In this paper, we present the steps we made towards network-aware big data task scheduling over such distributed systems. We propose different resource orchestration algorithms for two potential challenges we identify related to network resources of a geographically distributed topology: decreasing end-to-end latency and effectively allocating network bandwidth. the heuristic algorithms we propose provide better big data application performance compared to the default methods. We implement our solutions in our simulation environment and show the improved quality of big data applications.

In this paper, we extended the conventional space-time block-codes single-carrier frequency-domain equalization (STBC SC-FDE) to distributed STBC SC-FDE for practical implementation of cooperative networks. We proposed a SC-FDE transmission scheme over frequency-selective fading channels for distributed STBC cooperative network with amplify-and-forward relaying. We showed that the order-two spatial diversity gain achieved by this distributed STBC SC-FDE scheme. Linear receiver processing collects full spatial diversity, while the overall receiver complexity remains comparable to that of conventional without-relay-assisted transmissions over frequency-selective channels. Simulation results were also provided to validate the distributed STBC SC-FDE scheme.
