Data-intensive cloud computing is used to manage a large amount of data. Transaction management is one of the most considerable aspect to any database management system. ACID-based transaction processing is allowed for static cloud computing environment. But for moving cloud environment it is difficult to maintain all the ACID properties. As a result for moving cloud environment CAP theorem is considered. So, in order to achieve both Availability and Partition tolerance, it becomes difficult to maintain consistency for cloud database. this paper includes an algorithm for preserving consistency in data-intensive cloud computing environment. the simulation results that our proposed algorithm CBA(Consistency Based Algorithm) gives better result rather than the existing one.

5G networks are expected to be highly dense and heterogeneous. Building up such a network require a lot of capital investment. Hence, it is essential to optimize the resource utilization, maximize the network availability and minimize the operational cost with acceptable quality of experience(QOE) and quality of service(QOS) parameters. In this research paper, we present a cost effective node allocation method based on traffic forecast in virtual wireless networks(VWN) with grid topology. the problem is formulated using linear programming. Our simulation results show that, it reduces the service provider's operational cost. We propose to use this method as a service in VWN in the Software Defined networking(SDN) context. An architecture supporting the formulation has also been proposed.

Providing ubiquitous connectivity to the mobile devices is a major issue in TCP/IP based networks. In this paper we have proposed algorithms for enhancement of ubiquitous connectivity to mobile producer, mobile node can travel at any speed and stay at any location for short or long period, enables mobile user to handle mobility effectively while frequently changing the Access Points as well as staying at same Access Point for long-time. We have proposed Relocation Adaptable Kite (RA Kite) Mobility model for Named Data networking (NDN) over traditional Kite and MMS model. Simulation results and comparison results of RA Kite, Kite and MMS model are also analyzed for better communication tradeoff.

Ensuring dynamic behavior, accountability, and flexible management is required by any traffic engineering solution. Software Defined networking (SDN), presenting a central management control, is a promising solution in this context. However, the migration to SDN is not straightforward. SDN and non-SDN based networks will coexist for a long period of time. this hybrid mode brings together the distributednetworking scheme benefits in terms of robustness and scalability, and the SDN management power gained by the control centralization. At the same time, it avoids the centralization single point of failure and the distributed scheme's management complexity. In this paper, we review research work related to hybrid networks and we present a solution to guarantee Quality of Service (QoS) for time-critical applications over a hybrid network.

In this paper, we propose a concept for distributed Management Plane data computation and its delivery in the cellular networks. Architecture for proposed concept is described. Calculation of Key Performance Indicators is distributed to the cellular network edge, close to the managed network elements which reduces the volume of the Management Plane traffic. In this concept, further aggregation and refinement of data is done in the nodes located in the operator's cloud, close to consumers of Management Plane data. Distribution of calculation to the network edge reduces load at the network operator's central database. this paper presents an analysis to the benefits of the proposed concept. Efficient on-demand type streaming data delivery model allows network management functions to be plugged in to receive Management Plane data directly without database access. A demonstrator system has been implemented. the feasibility of the implementation is evaluated in terms of resource consumption and latency.

Recent advances in networks and computing systems have led many aspects of our daily life to depend on distributed interconnected computing resources. Large scale distributed systems such as computational and data grids and clouds are used for serving large and complex applications [1]. Grids and clouds performance became more important due to the increase of users and computationally intensive applications. However, the usage of energy has become a major source of concern for these systems due to the price of electricity and the impact on the environment. Energy efficiency in large scale distributed systems reduces energy consumption and operational costs [2]. However, energy conservation should be considered together with users' satisfaction regarding QoS. Complex multiple-task applications may have precedence constraints and specific deadlines and may impose several restrictions and QoS requirements [3, 4], therefore energy efficient job scheduling is a difficult task in grids and clouds where there are many alternative heterogeneous computers. Advanced modelling and simulation techniques are a basic aspect of performance evaluation that is needed before the costly prototyping actions required for large scale distributed systems [5]. In this talk we will present state-of-the-art research covering a variety of concepts on resource allocation and job scheduling in large scale existing or simulated distributed systems that provide insight into energy conservation problems solving. We will also provide future directions in the area of energy efficiency in grids and clouds.
