Network security is one of the most important issues for currently advanced information technologies. the talent education is the base of network security. Compared with tradition education, network security education has its special features. Firstly, network security education should perform the simulation or emulation training for the students. Secondly, the courseware of network security should update rapidly, because the development of the security technologies develop very quickly. thus, network security education platform should support updating the courseware and training cases with high dynamic. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a network security education platform based software-defined networking technology, which is named SDSEP. the dynamic courseware and training cases service composition scheme is give. Also, the modeling of SESEP is presented. the evaluation show the feasibility and efficiency of SDSEP.

With advances in solar photovoltaic technology and decreasing costs of panels, solar energy is considered as an economical and sustainable solution for growing energy demands, especially in countries such as India with high insolation levels. However, key challenges exist in large scale adoption of distributed solar generation. Firstly, there are concerns related to breach of voltage regulations and system instabilities caused by distributed generation. Secondly, there are challenges in providing robust communication infrastructure for utilities to actively control and dispatch distributed generation. We address these challenges by designing a decentralised controller iPlug, which involves voltage-sensitive back-off of the level of solar capacity injection into the grid and is inspired by the CSMA protocol from networking literature. this is done in conjunction with other resources like local batteries and local demand ramp-up resources. iPlug functions are complementary to emerging microinverter technologies and could in principle be incorporated into either the inverter controls or battery and home energy management control systems. We present preliminary results from simulation-based evaluation of iPlug algorithms and compare it with static PV injection strategies.

the Internet of things (IoT) is an emerging architecture that seeks to interconnect all of the "things" we use on a daily basis. Whereas the Internet originated as a way to connect traditional computing devices in order to share information, IoT includes everything from automobiles to appliances to buildings. As networks and devices become more diverse and disparate in their communication methods and interfaces, traditional host-to host technologies such as Internet Protocol (IP) are challenged to provide the level of data exchange and security needed to operate in this new network paradigm. Named Data networking (NDN) is a developing Internet architecture that can help implement the IoT paradigm in a more efficient and secure manner. this paper introduces the NDN architecture in comparison to the traditional IP-based architecture and discusses several security concepts pertaining to NDN that make this a powerful technology for implementing the Internet of things.

Performance of data analytics in Internet of things (IoTs) depends on effective transport services offered by the underlying network. Fog computing enables independent data-plane computational features at the edge-switches, which serves as a platform for performing certain critical analytics required at the IoT source. To this end, in this paper, we implement a working prototype of Fog computing node based on Software-Defined networking (SDN). Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) is chosen as the candidate IoT protocol that transports data generated from IoT devices (a.k.a. MQTT publishers) to a remote host (called MQTT broker). We implement the MQTT broker functionalities integrated at the edge-switches, that serves as a platform to perform simple message-based analytics at the switches, and also deliver messages in a reliable manner to the end-host for post-delivery analytics. We mathematically validate the improved delivery performance as offered by the proposed switch-embedded brokers.

the performance of Hadoop components can be significantly improved by leveraging advanced features such as Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) on modern HPC clusters, where high-performance networks like InfiniBand (IB) and RoCE have been deployed widely. With the emergence of high-performance computing in the cloud (HPC Cloud), highperformance networks have paved their way into the cloud with recently introduced Single Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) technology. With these advancements in HPC Cloud networking technologies, it is high time to investigate the design opportunities and impact of networking architectures (different generations of IB, 40GigE, 40G-RoCE) and protocols (TCP/IP, IPoIB, RC, UD, Hybrid) in accelerating Hadoop components over highperformance networks. In this paper, we propose a network architecture and multi-protocol aware Hadoop RPC design, that can take advantage of RC and UD protocols for IB and RoCE. A hybrid transport design with RC and UD is proposed which can deliver memory scalability and performance for Hadoop RPC. We present a comprehensive performance analysis on five bare-metal IB/RoCE clusters and one SR-IOV enabled cluster in the Chameleon Cloud. Our performance evaluations reveal that our proposed designs can achieve up to 12.5x performance improvement for Hadoop RPC over IPoIB. Further, we integrate our RPC engine into Apache HBase, and demonstrate that we can accelerate YCSB workloads by up to 3.6x. Other insightful observations on performance characteristics of different HPC Cloud networking technologies are also shared in this paper.

Existing music recommendation systems don't suit user subjectivity and are not naturally intuitive. We previously proposed a music recommendation system to address these problems. Our music recommendation system uses Kansei agents and a Kansei retrieval system. the Kansei agents employ a Kansei model and are characterized by a three-layered neural network. Music fluctuation properties are defined as inputs to the neural networks of the Kansei agents. Our previously proposed system returns recommendations based on user subjectivity. However, this system incurs significant user evaluation load. In this study, we introduce a distributed genetic algorithm (DGA) as an optimization method to address this problem. We compare the proposed DGA method to our previous method by simulation. the simulation results indicate that the proposed DGA method significantly outperforms previous method.

the number of cloud computing service provider is becoming more and more. the services need uniform standards to measure. Setting clear rules of SLA and adding user feedback mechanism to provide accreted cloud service providers to the customers. In the process of reputation value calculation, this model considers time factor and the users' attributes, such as the frequency. the experiments show that the recommended service model compared to traditional recommended model has a better effect.

On a cluster system running behind the Cloud computing, multiple processes are generated from most applications and then executed on multiple computing nodes. their processes communicate with each other during their execution. the communication performance among multiple processes plays an important role in the total execution performance of an application. the SDN-enhanced JMS, which we have developed in the previous work, offers the framework that allows administrators to prescribe resource provisioning way using the information on both computing and network resources on a cluster system. However, an advanced and effective method for providing an appropriate set of computing and network resources to jobs is still an issue to be tackled. In this paper, we aim to design and implement an adaptive network resource allocation method with which network resources can be reallocated to jobs in execution, in response to the change of process placement occurred at job dispatch and termination events. Our evaluation shows that the proposed method can reallocate network resources of jobs in execution, and suppress the degradation of network throughput of jobs.

Software architecture aims to satisfy the software requirements from different points of view. It is represented by models which are the reference for understanding the structure and behavior of the software. In this way, one of the biggest challenges is to ensure that a software system can improve its performance through the use of scalability tactics, especially to support larger number of concurrent users. this paper presents a model-driven deployment approach to design models of distributed software architectures. In particular, models for webbased software systems in order to support its automatic implementation and its dynamic deployment on a cloud computing platform, using the horizontal scaling tactic. In addition, we design and propose Sarch to build the models, a domain-specific language based on the specification of a set of architectural styles and its representation as architectural views.
