distributed base stations are studied in the framework of LTE public safety networks. In the proposed model, users are connected to remote radio heads deployed throughout the cell and connected to a central base station. In this paper, resource allocation for the purpose of real-time video transmission, in the uplink and downlink, is investigated, and the performance of several distributed base station deployment scenarios is compared. Simulation results show that significant throughput gains can be achieved withdistributed base stations. In addition, results show that the quality of service for real-time video streaming can be largely enhanced due to the reduction of loss distortion.

Grid is a distributed infrastructure which allows large scale resources sharing and system integration. Task scheduling in grid becomes more complicated when strategy needs to combine user's QoS with system's computing performance. On the basis of analysing classic Min-min heuristic, an improved task scheduling algorithm using triangle module operator to integrate user's QoS with system's computing performance is proposed. Simulation are conducted on GridSim, and the results strongly demonstrate the proposed algorithm performs better on makespan, resource load balancing and user's QoS utility than BF-Min-min and Min-min which does not consider user's QoS requirements.

In the proposed architecture, assignable-size user buffer, algorithms of parents selection and subtree migration are employed to ensure the reliability and scalability of system, finis avalanche problem is discussed also. the attributes and performance of RSVoD are analyzed in theory. the rapid progress of cloud technology has attracted a growing number of video providers to deploy their streaming services onto multiple distributed datacenters for more cost-effective performance. the emerging Software-Defined networking (SDN) technology overcomes the limitation of the existing network and provides a promising solution to manage the underlying network. In this paper, we introduce an SDN-enabled cloud video distribution architecture and propose a joint resource allocation and traffic management mechanism to improve user experience and reduce the system operational cost. We use a delay utility function to represent user experience and formulate the joint optimization problem as a convex optimization problem. We conduct simulations to evaluate the performance of our algorithm and the results show that our strategy can effectively cut down the total cost and guarantee user experience.

In this paper, we propose an iterative interference alignment scheme to improve the sum rate performance of the K-user MIMO interference channel. We design the precoding matrices to minimize the leakage interference. Linear receiver decoding matrices based on the Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) criterion are used to further eliminate the interference. Furthermore, the receiver filter is designed not only for removing the interference from the undesired transmitters but also separating its own spatial streams. Our scheme can be achieved with lower complexity comparing with maximizing the signal to interference-plus-noise rate (MAX-SINR) scheme while providing a comparable performance, and it can be done in a distributed manner where only local channel knowledge is needed for each user. By iteratively updating the precoding and decoding matrices, it converges to the solution that can remove the interference of each user effectively. Monte-Carlo simulations have been provided to illustrate the performance of the proposed schemes comparing withthe existing schemes.

Although the relation between the kernel density estimation (KDE) and low-pass filtering is well known, it is vary difficult to setting the parameters of the other kinds of density, functions. this paper proposes a novel method to deal withthe parameters of Laplace kernel through measuring the degree of exchanged information among interpolating points. Since grid computing provides users with more distributedcomputing and storage resources, it gives us an opportunity to design new efficient and robust solvers for the numerical solutions of partial differential equations (PDEs). For instance, large scale problems in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) can be efficiently simulated under this environment. However, unfortunately, most of the currently developed PDE solvers using the finite element method (FEM), usually tight combinations of a mesh generator and a linear system solver, are not qualified for the grid computing environment.
