In this paper, an operating system scheduling algorithm based on Double DQN (Double Deep Q network) is proposed, and its performance under different task types and system loads is verified by experiments. Compared with the traditional scheduling algorithm, the algorithm based on Double DQN can dynamically adjust the task priority and resource allocation strategy, thus improving the task completion efficiency, system throughput, and response speed. the experimental results show that the Double DQN algorithm has high scheduling performance under light load, medium load and heavy load scenarios, especially when dealing with I/O intensive tasks, and can effectively reduce task completion time and system response time. In addition, the algorithm also shows high optimization ability in resource utilization and can intelligently adjust resource allocation according to the system state, avoiding resource waste and excessive load. Future studies will further explore the application of the algorithm in more complex systems, especially scheduling optimization in cloud computing and large-scale distributed environments, combining factors such as network latency and energy efficiency to improve the overall performance and adaptability of the algorithm.

the development of electronic Video on Demand (VoD) services is increasing. Companies must use strategies to increase competitiveness to overcome intense competition between VoD services. this study examines the effectiveness of interaction, identification, and enthusiasm in creating value-in-use of VoD service products. this study uses quantitative research methods using a Likert scale questionnaire, by using secondary data with 227 respondents who are VoD active social media followers and customers in Indonesia. Based on hypothesis testing, it was found that identification and interaction variables had a positive effect on enthusiasm. In further analysis, it found that the variables interaction, identification, and enthusiasm had a positive impact on value in use.

Edge computing is a promising computing paradigm to enable next-generation delay-sensitive services which are not conceivable in traditional cloud-based architectures. Due to the challenges of unbalanced workloads and limited single-point resources in edge computing systems, the collaboration among different edge nodes is an important issue to realize balanced and on-demand computing capabilities of edge systems. With the continuous extension of the network, large-scale and complex networking brings new challenges to edge collaboration. Recently, computing Power Network (CPN) has been proposed as a possible next-generation network construction to realize optimized resource allocation among multiple heterogeneous edge nodes. In this paper, a practically deployable CPN -enabled edge computing framework is proposed. We focus on realizing computing power sharing and load balancing among heterogeneous computing nodes through flexible task scheduling, which is an attempt to achieve the interworking of computing and network capabilities. Considering the dynamic and continuous changes of the system, a learning-based algorithm is proposed to give optimal scheduling decisions. Finally, the simulation results show the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed task scheduling scheme.

this paper proposes a Mobile IoT optimization method for Next-Generation networks by evaluating a series of named-based techniques implemented in Information-Centric networking (ICN). the idea is based on the possibility to have a more suitable naming and forwarding mechanism to be implemented in IoT. the main advantage of the method is in achieving a higher success packet rate and data rate by following the proposed technique even when the device is mobile / roaming around. the proposed technique is utilizing a root prefix naming which allows faster process and dynamic increase for content waiting time in Pending Interest Table (PIT). To test the idea, a simulation is carried out by mimicking how IoT can be implemented, especially in smart cities, where a user can also travel and not be static. Results show that the proposed technique can achieve up to a 13% interest success rate and an 18.7% data rate increase compared to the well-known implementation algorithms. the findings allow for possible further cooperation of data security factors and ensuring energy reduction through leveraging more processes at the edge node.

the Industrial Internet of things or Industry 4.0 efficiently enhances the manufacturing process in terms of raising productivity, system performance, cost reduction, and building large-scale systems. It enables the connection of numerous heterogeneous devices and sensors into the internet network through the utilization of revolutionary techniques that transfer the manufacturing paradigm to intelligent processes. the traditional industrial internet of things adopts centralized architectures and complex encryption algorithms that suffer from several cyber-security threats and lead to data leakage, privacy disclosure, and high computational and communicational costs. In our work, we proposed a decentralized, efficient, low-power, scalable, secure, privacy-preserving, and trusting architecture based on a private blockchain network/smart contract and interplanetary file system technology for the Al-NajafyIraq oil refinery factory. that enables autonomous working and provides a high level of security authentication and privacy preservation, P2P communication, remote access, immutability and information backtracking. Traditional blockchain technology has storage limitation issues, most recent works adopted external servers or the cloud for storage purposes. Our proposed scheme addresses the limitations of blockchain data storage by adopting an interplanetary file system (IPFS) network;provides an efficient data encryption mechanism at the perceptual layer by adopting a lightweight encryption algorithm, high-performance, and ultra-low-power consumption ARM Cortex-M microcontroller. In addition, our architecture succeeds in merging blockchain technology, IoTs, and an IPFS with the oil refinery as an industrial application area. Moreover, it provides an efficient framework that resists common cyber-security attacks and realizes cyber-security requirements represented by data availability, integrity, and confidentiality. © 2022 IEEE.

We propose a first Asynchronous Federated Split Learning (AFSL), to add the flexibility of asynchronous computing to the combination of federated and split learning. this amounts to designing a harmonious combination of different paradigms in order to benefit from the advantages of each of them and to reduce the impacts of their *** way, AFSL answers to the increasingly rising interest for distributed algorithms with the advent of edge computing in order to support new market segments, such as cloud gaming, immersive eXtended Reality (XR), indoor positioning, and mission critical IoT networks, with stringent requirements on latency and *** experiments are conducted on IID and non-IID datasets to investigate the added value of the asynchronous feature. Results indicate that AFSL can accelerate model learning by up to 86% without sacrificing the model’s convergence and accuracy. Indeed, not only average training times are reduced, but clients use fewer resources, a critical characteristic for devices with limited computing capabilities, e.g., in edge devices. Performance degradation can be mitigated by a careful selection of the aggregation principle. Other advantages are with AFSL training in dynamic scenarios as it provides robustness with a short recovery time by leveraging asynchronous client training.

Smart connected healthcare is an emerging technology in the context of smart cities. the connected network aims to provide efficient and effective remote patient care. In such scenarios, edge and clouds come into the picture to offload computation from sensors and mobile devices, monitoring patient's health conditions, having limited processing capabilities to the edge and/or the cloud. the problem of optimizing the energy consumption of the edge and cloud servers in this offloading scenario is crucial. However, existing research efforts focus on sensors or cloud energy optimization. they do not consider the edge and cloud as part of the offloading strategy. In this paper, we address this void by proposing a novel energy-aware offloading algorithm for smart connected healthcare, which optimizes the energy of the edge-cloud computing platform for compute-intensive applications. the experimental results show that our proposed algorithm is a promising approach to energy savings. © 2021 IEEE.

An event-triggered (ET) recursive distributed filtering approach is designed for a class of stochastic systems with correlated noises. the correlated noises are represented by known matrices and the Kronecker $\delta$ function. the ET mechanism that can regulate the sensor information is employed. In addition, the perturbation of the filter gain is considered to suppress the effects of the gain variation on filtering accuracies. An upper bound with respect to the filtering error covariance that can be minimized is obtained by properly choosing the filter gain. Finally, an illustrative example is given to verify the usefulness of the proposed filtering approach.

In the fast-changing world of blockchain tech, keeping cryptographic algorithms secure and efficient is crucial, especially for managing keys in groups. this paper compares three cryptographic algorithms—Shamir's Secret Sharing Scheme, Blakley's Scheme, and the Asmuth-Bloom Scheme—to see how well they work in managing group keys in blockchain systems. We look at how fast they are and how well they resist attacks to understand their strengths and weaknesses in blockchain. Key management is really important for keeping things secure with cryptography, especially in systems like distributed ledgers. We study how long it takes to use Shamir's Secret Sharing, Blakley's Scheme, and the Asmuth-Bloom Scheme in blockchain, showing how efficient and scalable they are, which matters a lot in big distributed systems. We also look at how secure these cryptographic schemes are against different types of attacks, like trying lots of passwords, intercepting messages, working together to attack, and finding vulnerabilities in the system. By focusing on both efficiency and security, we try to get a clear picture of which cryptographic scheme is best for blockchain, especially when managing group keys securely and dynamically. In our research, we found that in terms of speed, Shamir's Secret Sharing Scheme outperforms the Asmuth-Bloom Scheme and Blakley's Scheme, with Shamir being the fastest, followed by Asmuth and then Blakley. However, regarding security, all three schemes demonstrate robustness against various attack vectors. We also discovered that Shamir Secret Sharing Scheme’s efficiency could be further enhanced by implementing Newton's interpolation technique for value interpolation.
