Globally planning packets forwarding based on the operator's objectives by a centralized controller is possible in Software Defined Network (SDN). the chief purpose of the SDN architecture is to manage the network due to centralized control of the network easily. the SDN architecture does not focus on network security since the beginning of its emergence. that matter has created some vulnerabilities due to centralized control of the network. Vulnerability is caused by attacks causing the packet overload on the controller (such as DoS attack). Hence, the controller runs into a race condition. Another vulnerability existed in the controller is the topology poisoning attack utilizing spoofed packet and exploiting LLDP packets in the network. Forensics in a traditional network does not have the capability to deeply analyze the attack because the tools ignore evidence existed in the control and application layer of SDN. this research focuses on technical processes in running forensics on SDN architecture comprehensively and develops modules needed to retrieve log's evidence existed in the controller by applying forensics' principles. the result shows DoS attack and topology poisoning can be investigated by utilizing these technical processes. Evidence in the controller can be utilized to create analyses, attribution, and presentation. the technical processes of this study are expected to help forensic investigators in revealing crime incidents in the OpenFlow-based SDN environment.

Smart cities result from the wide adoption of information and communication technologies aimed at addressing challenges arising from overpopulation and resources shortage. Despite their important and fundamental contributions, ICT alone can hardly cope with all the challenges posed by growing demands of overpopulated cities. Hence, novel approaches based on innovative paradigms are needed. In this article we revise the concept of Cognitive City founded on Siemens' Connectivism and understood as the evolution of current smart cities augmented with artificial intelligence, internet of things, and ubiquitous computing. We present the concept of cognitive city as a complex system of systems resembling complex adaptive systems with natural resilient capabilities. We build and propose our model upon the principles of decentralized control, stigmergy and locality, multi-directional networking, randomness, specialization and redundancy. Also, we show a realistic application of our model. With the aim to set the ground for further research, we summarize the main challenges that remain open, both from a societal and technical perspective. Hence, the goal of this article is not to provide a solution to those challenges but, to raise awareness on the problem, and foster further research in the multiple lines that remain open.

In 21st century, Internet of things (IoT) is playing an important role in developing Smart cities. With the growth of IoT, data is growing with acceleration. As the data is growing the need to store data is also increasing. More the data, the latency will be high to store and retrieve data from the cloud. the concept of fog computing was originated to diminish the latency for accessing the data to and from the cloud. Fog computing imparts the storage, computing as well as networking services at the end point of the network. Fog nodes also have limited computational capabilities. Due to some weaknesses, fog computing and cloud computing cannot sustain alone, so both these technologies are integrated to build smart IoT infrastructure for Smart city. Fog computing have a major role and supreme responsibility in development of a Smart city. this paper discusses various applications of fog computing and their implementations in a Smart cities. It also proposes a prototype for Waste management system in a city. Fog computing can help to govern the waste collection of the city in a smart way. On the basis of our review, several open concerns and challenges of fog computing are discussed, and the directions for future researchers have also been discussed.

this paper proposes a DNA computing model to calculate both inversion and division over finite field GF(2(n)). It is designed based on the previous works by combining modular-multiplication into the process of computing inversion. It adds the function of computing division comparing with the previous model of inversion. the computation tiles performing 9 different functions assemble into the seed configuration with inputs to figure out the result. this model requires 6857 types of computation tiles and 11 types of boundary tiles.

this paper proposes the computing of isosurfaces as a way to extract relevant features from 3D brain images. these isosurfaces are then used to implement a Computer aided diagnosis system to assist in the diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease (PD) which uses a most well-known Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) architecture, LeNet, to classify DaTScan images with an average accuracy of 95.1% and AUC=97%, obtaining comparable (slightly better) values to those obtained for most of the recently proposed systems. It can be concluded therefore that the computation of isosurfaces reduces the complexity of the inputs significantly, resulting in high classification accuracies with reduced computational burden.

Fog computing emerged as a new paradigm that pushes cloud applications to the network edge. the fog infrastructure contains mainly distributed and heterogeneous fog nodes that are characterized by their complex distribution, high mobility and sporadic resources availability. this dynamic fog nodes behavior triggers new challenges in the resource management process, such as resources coordination for continuous quality-of-service satisfaction. In this paper, we propose a smart online resource allocation approach adapted for dynamic fog computing environments, aiming at maximizing the number of satisfied user requests within a predefined delay threshold. We model the fog computing environment as a Markov discrete process, where dynamic fog node behavior / mobility and resources availability are considered. then, we present our smart deep-reinforcement-learning resource allocation algorithm. Considering real-world mobility data sets, the near-optimal performance of the proposed solution is illustrated through simulations, and its superiority over heuristic state-of-the-art approaches is exposed.

Integration and distribution applications to several production servers take a long time by the classical method. In this case, the application requires several libraries to run. Automated continuous integration/continuous delivery is a method that can make software development activity is more effective. the stages of development such as coding, executing, and distributing applications can be done automatically by system tools. this paper used the method to distribute generating named entity recognition model applications. In this case, the experiment named entity recognition model with computation parallel on more than one server. the results of the named entity recognition model experiment are faster and can reach more results than using one server. the infrastructure of architecture used to run automated continuous integration/continuous delivery uses cloud service. the implementation results of this automated continuous integration/continuous delivery run successfully and run multiple jobs on continuous integration/continuous delivery. the tools to implement this scenario such as GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Private Image Repository, and the server operations system is Ubuntu server 18.04 Long Term Support 64 bit. the benefits of this paper, operational development activities by virtual image applications can integrate and distributed to several servers by automatically so that requires less time.

We present DataFall, a simple yet effective policy-driven algorithm for decentralized placement and reorganization of replicated data. Without relying on a centralized location for data mapping, DataFall efficiently distributes data objects across storage devices using a mechanism built on multiple hash functions. When producing the data placement, policies can be enforced at object level in a flexible manner. In addition, with minimum data movement, DataFall is capable of accommodating a wide variety of changes such as topology massive upgrade and reorganization. the advantages of DataFall over the state-of-the-art are demonstrated through an experimental evaluation in a set of selected scenarios.

IoT aim is connecting all objects around the world with each other through the Internet. there are a large number of devices in the IoT that each one produces data over time. We can not publish the original data, without any process, due to the possibility of sensitive data disclosure. A networking paradigm that provisions network management flexibility and easier manipulation of the network called "Software Defined networking" (SDN) recently emerged. through observations, we have found existing solutions are in lack of flexibility in management while preserving-privacy. In this paper, at first, we propose a platform for integration of IoT with SDN. then, we propose a method for solving the data privacy issue on top of it. Instead of having one static rule for all IoT devices, in our solution, each device can apply six possible privacy-preserving rules. During the time, the privacy method that each device should apply changes. We show the striking flexibility of our architecture so that management of data would be more efficient along with we are able to preserve the privacy of produced data in an acceptable level, finding original data would be a tough task.
