Building distributed computing systems involves complex concerns integrating a multitude of communication styles, technologies (IoT, cloud and big data ... ), stakeholders (architects, developers, integrators, etc.) and addressing a multitude of application domains (smart cities, health, mobility, etc.). Existing architectural description languages fail to rigorously bridge the gap between the abstract representation of communication styles and those supported by existing execution infrastructures. In this paper, we aim at specifying software architecture of distributed systems using an approach combining semi-formal and formal languages to build reusable model libraries to represent communication solutions. Our contribution is two fold. First, we propose a metamodel to describe high level concepts of architecture in a component- port-connector fashion focusing on communication styles. Second, we attempt to formalize those concepts and their semantics following some properties (specifications) to check architectural conformance. To validate our work, we provide a set of reusable connector libraries within a set of properties to define architectures for systems with explicit communications models like message passing and remote procedure calls, that are common to most distributed systems.

the report presents an approach to solve hard problems of discrete and global optimization in distributed computing environment Everest - a web-based computing platform, http://***. the approach integrates: solvers implementing branch-and-bound (B&B) algorithm;preliminary decomposition of feasible domain and/or B&B multi-search (of the same problem with different settings of B&B algorithm);pool of solvers, which run in parallel and exchange with values of incumbents found by B&B. the report partially sums up results of research and programmatic implementation of coarse-grained (loosely coupled) parallelisation in the form of Everest application called DDBNB, https://***/distcomp/ddbnb. On solving hard geometric combinatorial problems (Tammes problem, thomson problem and Flat Torus Packing problem) finegrained parallel solver ParaSCIP (based on MPI) has been used also. In particular, computing proof of Flat Torus optimal packing for 9 circles has been obtained. Comparison of ParaSCIP and DDBNB performance leads to future plan to improve DDBNB by integration of coarse- and fine-grained parallelism. © 2018 Sergey A. Smirnov, Vladimir V. Voloshinov.

Due to the efficacious and continual development in the integration of distributed Energy Resources (DERs) with the power grid, the power system is metamorphosing towards a dynamic, decentralized and distributed energy paradigm. DERs are classified as wind turbine generators, rooftop solar PV plants, energy storage devices, and electric vehicles that are usually owned and operated by the end-users of a distribution network. A smart grid framework which incentivizes the active involvement of such end-user based DERs into the grid is the ideal requirement to embrace this transition. Since the end-users not only consume but also generate power as well, for such `Prosumers', Peer to Peer (P2P) trading will provide a market place for localized energy trading between peers, enabling sustainability and ensuring locally balanced distributed energy within the community. this paper proposes an innovative market mechanism and a pricing strategy for the smart grid - "P2P Trading, which allows for each peer of the network to participate in energy trading with each other and with the grid. the paper also shows the potential of P2P trading in reducing consumer costs, and by exploring opportunities for earning revenue for the prosumers from surplus energy. the import and export profiles of a group of consumers of an actual distribution utility have been used for this study. After observing the power profiles of the consumers, the best suitable period for P2P trading has been identified and a possible pricing strategy has been discussed.

One of the important problems of the seismic survey process is the seismic migration. the result provides enough information for the delineation of oil and gas deposits. In this article two independent approaches for solving the migration problem in elastic media are discussed. Main formulas for the Born approximation are provided and advantages of this algorithm are represented. Limitations of the used background model were overcome with the full-wave elastic migration approach. It uses the grid-characteristic method on structured meshes of high-orders. the possibility of the single geological crack identification was tested. this article presents a task of the recovery of the spectral density of sea waves in the linear case. Creation of the onboard ship system giving the current information about sea state and weather forecast in the navigation area is one of the most urgent problem. Weather forecast can be based on the analysis of the sea waves spectral density change. Evaluation of the sea wave spectral density is solved on the basis of indirect dynamic measurements of vibrational motion of the marine dynamic object in a seaway. the first researcher to raise the wave parameter identification problem on the basis of object behavior was Y. Nechayev. Over the past fifteen years, this problem has become rather popular and the works of Nielsen U.D., Simons A.N., Pascoal R. and others are of the most significance. Nevertheless, despite of researches large number it is still impossible to speak of an acceptable effective solution to this problem. the recovery of the sea waves on the basis of the behavior of the marine dynamic object requires the analysis and processing of large amounts of information. To improve the accuracy of identification requires using different algorithm of recovery and a large number of test calculations. the calculations should be made in real time. the system should also store processed data and provide access at any time. the software should have the fault-tolerance property, i.e. the software should continue to work in the case of failure of one of the parts. All these requirements and features make us to use distributed computing system for developing software of the solution of the problem. © 2018 Ilya Busko.

there is a problem of choosing the optimal configuration of the necessary computer and network equipment for the storage and processing system of BM@N and MPD experiments that the NICA complex part. A macro-modeling scheme is proposed and implemented to solve this problem. the process of data movements is considered as a byte stream that has a statistical nature, without analyzing individual parts of this stream. A probabilistic approach is used to assess the different equipment configurations: the losses probability of information coming from the detectors for each of these configurations are defined, and one configuration is selected for which this probability does not exceed a predetermined limit and the price is minimal. the structure of the simulation program, the proposed statistical criteria for the system quality and simulation algorithms are described. the results of preliminary calculations for the selection of the optimal data storage system for the BM@N experiment are presented. © 2018 Vladimir V. Over the past few decades, web technologies have proven to be a fast, convenient and easy-to-access tool for retrieving information and sharing a large amount of heterogeneous data. the technologies used there, and in particular the HTML technology, have played a major role in the development of the Internet as it is. this is all due to the standardization and creation of a single tool to create network content. the goal of this work is to create a standard and a language for developing extended reality applications and interfaces built into existing applications. With this language, developers who are familiar with web technologies can quickly and with minimal effort move on to a new technology and fill it with content, the lack of which is now the main problem of all extended reality technologies. With usage of the developed system it will be possible to combine the formed community of web developers and perspective technology on the basis of a standardized set of tools that will positively affect both developers and the pace of technology development. In the future that technology can be used in different spheres, like education, business, advertisement, etc. Also it can be used in the global distributed computer systems, that will give an ability to make a global network of virtual objects referred to a real-life points. © 2018 Nadezhda O.
