the traditional retail experience for purchasing watches lacks the interactivity and personalization that modern consumers seek. With the increasing shift towards online shopping platforms, there is a growing demand for an engaging and immersive virtual experience that allows customers to explore and try on watches. the absence of expert guidance during the online shopping process often results in less informed decision-making. To address these challenges, WRISTVIEW presents an innovative solution that integrates augmented reality (AR) and a conversational generative AI (GENAI) chatbot. the AR component enables users to virtually try on watches, providing a realistic and interactive experience. the GENAI chatbot enhances this experience by offering expert advice, answering queries, and guiding users through the watch shopping journey, thereby creating a more personalized and informative shopping process. the objective of this research is to bridge the gap between the traditional in-store watch shopping experience and the online environment, ensuring that customers can make well-informed and satisfying purchase decisions in a virtual setting. the development, implementation, and potential impact of combining AR and GENAI technologies to transform the online watch shopping experience are discussed. © 2024 IEEE.

this research have been conducted to predict the output power of grid-connected photovoltaic (GCPV) system using hybrid Bat Algorithm-Artificial Neural Network (BA-ANN) in this paper. In this project, ANN utilized data from GCPV database includes Solar Irradiance (SI), Ambient Temperature (AT) and Module Temperature (MT) as the inputs and apply output power as a single output. More importantly, bat algorithm optimization was apply to minimize Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) by optimized the number of neurons in the hidden layer, learning rate and momentum rate. After training steps, testing will take a part for affirm the ANN training. the results obtained have been compared with the results from Evolutionary programming-Artificial Neural Network (EP-ANN) with the similar input and output configurations. It is observed that result for BA-ANN had performed more than EP-ANN in term of producing lower RMSE. Besides that, optimal learning algorithm, time taken, and population were also take part in this research.

We describe an experimental object-oriented programming language, ASL2, that supports program development by means of a series of abstraction steps. the language allows immediate object construction, and it is possible to use the constructed objects for concrete problem solving tasks. Classes and class hierarchies can be derived from the objects - via gradual abstraction steps. We introduce two levels of object classification, called weak and strong object classification. Strong object classification relies on conventional classes, whereas weak object classification is looser, and less restrictive. As a central mechanism, weakly classified objects are allowed to borrow methods from each other. ASL2 supports class generalization, as a counterpart to class specialization and inheritance in mainstream object-oriented programming languages. the final abstraction step discussed in this paper is a syntactical abstraction step that derives a source file with a syntactical class form.

Multiple dispatch - the selection of a function to be invoked based on the dynamic type of two or more arguments - is a solution to several classical problems in object-oriented programming. Open multi-methods generalize multiple dispatch towards open-class extensions, which improve separation of concerns and provisions for retroactive design. We present the rationale, design, implementation, performance, programming guidelines, and experiences of working with a language feature, called open multi-methods, for C++. Our open multi-methods support both repeated and virtual inheritance. Our call resolution rules generalize both virtual function dispatch and overload resolution semantics. After using all information from argument types, these rules can resolve further ambiguities by using covariant return types. Care was taken to integrate open multi-methods with existing C++ language features and rules. We describe a model implementation and compare its performance and space requirements to existing open multi-method extensions and work-around techniques for C++. Compared to these techniques, our approach is simpler to use, catches more user mistakes, and resolves more ambiguities through link-time analysis, is comparable in memory usage, and runs significantly faster. In particular, the runtime cost of calling an open multi-method is constant and less than the cost of a double dispatch (two virtual function calls). Finally, we provide a sketch of a design for open multi-methods in the presence of dynamic loading and linking of libraries. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

CAR (component Assembly Runtime) is a new component-oriented programming technology. Web Services is a developing technology for internet system. In this Paper, we put forward a new architecture of Web Services based on CAR component technology, which is called CAR Web Services. We design and implement the architecture, components, interfaces, and relational methods of which. We analyses the working flowchart of CAR Web Server and CAR Web Services Proxy. On the CAR component running platform, this architecture makes Web Services components to be released on Internet and invoked by remote client automatically or easily. © 2007 IEEE.

One of the key problems in the development of software product lines is the representation and management of variability and commonality. the customary way to define both aspects is by means of feature models that also allow the configuration of each specific application within the product line to be selected. However the control of traceability between the features and the architectural models (generally based on UML) is not simple. the fundamental reasons are the complexity of the traceability relationships, and the fact that the same modeling mechanisms (e.g., the specialization in a class diagram) serve to express the variation points in the models that represent the product line and in each specific application. the aim of this work is to use the package merge mechanism of the UML 2 infrastructure meta-model as the representation (and support for the configuration) of the variability in the product line while reserving the classical mechanisms (the specialization in the structural models, the > relationship in the use case models, etc.) to express the variants in execution time of each specific application. the structure of the feature models is directly reflected in the relationships between packages in the architectural models, so the traceability of the configuration decisions is straightforward. the direct implementation of the package merge mechanism using the facility of partial classes of languages such as C# is an additional advantage that leads to the ideal of "seamless development". Xtext is an open-source framework for implementing external, textual domain-specific languages (DSLs). So far, most DSLs implemented with Xtext and similar tools focus on structural aspects such as service specifications and entities. Because behavioral aspects are significantly more complicated to implement, they are often delegated to generalpurpose programming languages. this approach introduces complex integration patterns and the DSL's high level of abstraction is compromised. We present Xbase as part of Xtext, an expression language that can be reused via language inheritance in any DSL implementation based on Xtext. Xbase expressions provide both control structures and program expressions in a uniform way. Xbase is statically typed and tightly integrated with the Java type system. Languages extending Xbase inherit the syntax of a Java-like expression language as well as language infrastructure components, including a parser, an unparser, a linker, a compiler and an interpreter. Furthermore, the framework provides integration into the Eclipse IDE including debug and refactoring support. the application of Xbase is presented by means of a domain model language which serves as a tutorial example and by the implementation of the programming language Xtend. Xtend is a functional and object-oriented general purpose language for the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). It is built on top of Xbase which is the reusable expression language that is the foundation of Xtend. Copyright 2012 ACM.

component-oriented programming yields a tension between higher-order features (deployment, reconfiguration, passivation), encapsulation, and component sharing. We propose a discipline for component-oriented programming to address this issue, and we define a process calculus whose operational semantics embodies this programming discipline. We present several examples that illustrate how the calculus supports component sharing, while allowing strong encapsulation and higher-order primitives. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2005.

Geometric Algebra (GA) is an algebra that encodes geometry much better than standard techniques, which are mainly based on linear algebra with various extensions. Compared to standard techniques, GA has clearer semantics and a richer, more consistent language. this expresses itself, among others, in a much greater genericity of functions over the algebra. Exploiting this genericity efficiently is a problem that can be solved through generative *** paper describes our Geometric Algebra Implementation Generator Gaigen 2. Gaigen 2 synthesizes highly efficient GA implementations from the specification of the algebra. Functions over such algebras can be defined in a high-level coordinate-free domain-specific language, and Gaigen 2 transforms these functions into low-level coordinate-based code. this code can be emitted in any target language through a custom back-end. Benchmarks of our implementation show that the combination of GA and Gaigen 2 can rival the performance of standard geometry techniques, despite the greater abstraction and genericity of *** obtain this high performance, Gaigen 2 must adapt the generated code to the program that links to it. this is done via a profiling feedback loop. While running, the generated code makes a connection to the code generator. the generated code sends information about functions that should be optimized. the code generator registers this information and sends back new type information. After the program terminates, the code is regenerated according to the recorded profile. this profiling feedback technique may also be useful to implement other types of algebras. We propose a domain-specific aspect language to prevent denial of service caused by resource management. Our aspects specify availability policies by enforcing time limits in the allocation of resources. In our language, aspects can be seen as formal timed properties on execution traces. Programs and aspects are specified as timed automata and the weaving process as an automata product. the benefit of this formal approach is two-fold: the user keeps the semantic impact of weaving under control and (s)he can use a model-checker to optimize the woven program and verify availability properties. this article presents the main approach (programs, aspects, weaving) formally using timed safety automata. the specification of resources, optimizations and verification are sketched in a more intuitive fashion. Even if a concrete implementation remains as future work, we address some high-level implementation issues and illustrate the approach by small examples and a case study. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V.
