the usage of open-source and easy-to-modify programme code for spatial visualisation of fast-evolving physical phenomena directly in the course of supercomputer calculations becomes relevant in design, research, construction and subsequent analysis of the validity of the simulated processes in resource-intensive numerical experiments, which is especially important in the study of non-stationary processes in continuum mechanics. Such visualisation has to have minimal impact on computational processes and allow for setting rheological parameters of simulated physical environment and criteria for dynamic and hybrid restructuring of computational processes. Almost any computational platform have embedded graphical means for visualisation of spatial geometrical objects using multi-core processors, which may provide solution to the formulated problem in full measure for parallel visualisation of the current results without substantial impact on the core computational processes. In the present research work we study one possible version of software suite which is based on graphical programming environment OpenGL, surrounded by tools for working with time and interval timers, input devices and text data views at the lowest possible level of direct input/output and interrupt processing in Windows OS. © 2018 Vasily N. In recent years, deep learning models have achieved outstanding results in computer vision and speech recognition. And now deep learning are effectively being exploited to address some major issues of Big Data, including fast information retrieval, language translation, data classification and so on. In this work, we implemented news article headline generation application for performance analysis of our framework, Spark-DLF. Training deep learning models requires extensive data and computation. Our proposed framework can accelerate the training time by distributing the model replicas, via stochastic gradient descent, among cluster nodes. We conducted a performance analysis to see how well our framework can handle Big Data problems.

Obtaining data for the training of failure prediction algorithms has long been an issue. A framework for automating the generation of this data for the training and deployment of these algorithms has recently been introduced. Unfortunately, the framework was only tested on a single deprecated operating system. In order to generalize the approach a few key functions must be performed, one of which being realistic workload generation. Unfortunately, a workload generator capable of generating sufficient workload has not been developed for a Microsoft Windows active directory environment. this paper introduces a tool that makes the implementation of this new framework possible on a modern Microsoft operating system. We present data generated by the tool to demonstrate its efficacy, and finish with several extensions and applications.

Agent-based Modeling and Simulation (ABMS) has become a quite popular approach among researchers in the community, mainly due to its simplicity, expressiveness and wide applicability. However, in most cases, ABMS tools demonstrate reduced performance, especially when dealing with large experiments. this paper presents HLogo, a parallel variant of the NetLogo ABMS framework, that aims to increase the performance of simulations by utilizing Software Transactional Memory and multi-core CPUs, while maintaining the user friendliness of NetLogo. HLogo is implemented as a Domain Specific Language embedded in the functional language Haskell, which means that it also inherits Haskell's features, such as strong static typing, a module system and a vast collection of programming libraries.

A passive RLC load is essential for conducting anti-islanding tests of inverter based grid connected distributed generator (DG) systems. A variable load is desirable if the tests need to be carried out over a range of operating conditions and on multiple DG based inverters of different ratings. Use of a physical load results in increased cost and space requirements, particularly when the rating of the DG under test increases. this paper presents power converter based impedance emulation technique to actively implement such a parallel RLC load. the dynamic and steady-state response of the load are synthesized using closed loop control of the passive load emulation converter (PLEC), such that the terminal behaviour of the converter matches the passive RLC load characteristics closely. the proposed technique is verified using simulations and experiments that consist of proposed PLEC working in tandem with a current controlled 3 phi DG based inverter on a 5 kVA hardware prototype in laboratory.

In the last few years, the use of Cloud and Internet of things (IoT) technologies is dramatically growing, opening new application possibilities spanning from smart cities to the prevention of natural disasters. A flexible integration of the Cloud and IoT environments allows users and applications to combine the benefits of the two worlds. Specifically, robustness, versatility and high computation power are better supported by the Cloud, while better real-time adaptation and local control are peculiar characteristics of the IoT infrastructure. Even higher flexibility can emerge when the cloud layer combines and integrates a public cloud component, offered by an external provider, and a private cloud, managed internally to the organization, thus giving rise to the so-called hybrid cloud. the integration of a hybrid cloud with an IoT layer opens a wide range of new possibilities and applications but also presents heterogeneity and complexity issues that must be carefully addressed. this paper offers a contribution in this field by presenting a novel threelayered IoT architecture for the Hybrid Cloud, namely IoT-HC, which is devoted to enabling distributed sensing and actuation, controlling IoT networks, elaborating the collected data both at edge and cloud level, and deciding which data has to be sent to private or public cloud components for storage and high-level elaboration.

Contemporary tendency of use the cloud architectures is quite common. Many tests show that the price for using a commercial cloud is feasible for most of applications including High Energy Physics. At the same time, many users are still using the large data centers (DC). the using just one data center (DC) is not completely sufficient in several aspects. First is lack of isolation, and second is lack of elasticity. Lack of isolation means situation when many users share one DC and violate SLA of each other from time to time. Lack of elasticity means situation when many users while sharing one DC cannot change SLA at required level. In context of service availability, one DC for many users is also not perfect solution as technical, nature, and social incidents might affect the DC. As a result, cloud solution based on geographically distributed DCs looks preferable. the running project addressed to implementation of such the cloud is described in the paper. © 2018 Petr V.
