With the development of DC grid technology, it has become a trend to introduce photovoltaic(PV) as a power source to the DC power distribution network. In this paper, an improved master-slave control strategy is proposed to realize power splitting and voltage sharing in a modular system with PV connected. Each module is a three-port converter: Input port connects distributed PV, output port connects to DC grid, and intermediate port is connected in parallel with other modules as a bus to realize the power splitting. For a single module, input voltage, intermediate bus voltage and output voltage should all be controlled to reference but only duty ratio and phase-shifting angel can be regulated hence it may occur the multi-objective variables control problem. While using the proposed strategy, this problem can be solved effectively and the system stability is ensured during the voltage sharing process. this control strategy is verified by simulation and experiment. © 2018 IEEJ Industry Application Society.

Natural Language Processing is a branch of Data Science that deals with research and business tasks of text analysis, such as classification, information extraction, etc. Usually, for the purpose of information extraction (Named Entity Recognition, Fact extraction, Key-value extraction) parsers of context-free grammars are employed. So far, most of the parsers are based on GLR algorithm, which allows handling nondeterministic and ambiguous grammars, unlike standard LR. the amount of text in the world is constantly growing along with the grammars, which describe its syntactic structure. For this reason, on the one hand it is important to optimize current solutions and algorithms, on the other hand - to make them scalable in order to perform calculations in clusters. In this article we are proposing a modified version of the algorithm which carries out distributed computation of big amount of text data. the article has been devoted to construction and investigation of parallel algorithms for the numerical realization of 3D models of suspended matter transportation and deposition and 2D models of bottom sediment transportation in sea coastal systems on the basis of explicit schemes with regularization terms that provide improved stability quality. the developed models take into account coastal currents and stress near the bottom caused by wind waves, turbulent spatial-three-dimensional motion of the water medium, particle size distribution and porosity of bottom sediments and hydraulic size of suspended particles, complicated shoreline shape and bottom relief and other factors. the numerical realization of the suspension transportation problem is carried out on the basis of explicit regularized difference schemes. the discrete model is constructed by means of including additional term according to idea of B. Chetverushkin - a discrete analogue of a second-order difference derivative with a small factor has been inserted in right side diffusion-advection equation. the value of the small factor determined on the basis of physical considerations and stability conditions. Compared with traditional parallel algorithms oriented to the use of implicit schemes, the use of explicit regularized algorithms allows to reduce the time of numerical solution of problems on a multi-core computing system with distributed memory containing 2048 cores and a peak performance of 18 Tflops in 12-80 times. the program package constructed by the authors for parallel realization given models has practical significance: it will allow to improve the accuracy of the real-time forecast and the validity of the engineering solutions taken for coastal infrastructure projects.

Low energy ion and electron beams, produced by ion sources and electron guns, find their use in surface modification, nuclear medicine and injection into high-energy accelerators. Simulation of particle dynamics is a necessary step for optimization of beam parameters. Since such simulations require significant computational resources, parallelization is highly desirable to be able to accomplish them in a reasonable amount of time. From the implementation standpoint, dynamically typed interpreted languages, such as Python 3, allow high development speed that comes at cost of performance. It is tempting to transfer all computationally heavy tasks on a GPU to alleviate this drawback. Using the example of a charged particles dynamics simulation problem, various GPU-parallelization technologies available in Python 3 are compared in terms of ease of use and computational speed. the reported study was funded by RFBR according to the research project No 18-32-00239/18. University ITMO (***) is developing the cloud of geographically distributed data centers under OpenStack. the article describes the deployment cycle for the developed multi-agent system on physical and virtual machines using the developed software product repository. the cloud system of distributed data centers assumes the existence of a number of subsystems such as independent agents. An agent is aimed at implementing the creation, management and provision of certain services with a defined SLA At the same time, it is necessary to perform both the initial deployment of the system and to provide the means that perform the automated modification of the hardware or software infrastructure, that is, the complete agent life cycle. the approaches suggested in the article allow us to use the minimum number of pre-installed components for the purpose of deploying and managing an array of physical and virtual entities of data centers, including deployment and configuring using Salt and monitoring the infrastructure using Zabbix. © 2018 Petr V. Synchronization aspects in the method of large-scale simulation, knovvn as parallel discrete event simulation (PDES), analyzed using the models of the time profile evolutions. Time profile is formed vvith the local virtual times of the processes. Time profile evolution in the simplest cases reminds the growth of the surface in the models of statistical physics. this simplest case considers only local dependences, the message exchange with the nearest neighbors. In the real simulations, the exchange can be with any of the processes, and we can consider the communication network of messages forms the small-world network. We found the enhancement of synchronization with the growing average shortest path of the small-world network. At the same time, the utilization drops down, although on the moderate level. With the advent of IoT and the associated variety of pervasive and context-aware applications, there is an increasing requirement to support the execution of these applications on devices with limited processing power. this is a cost-intensive process as this usually requires the deployment of centralized computing infrastructure accessible via a cloud interface. We envision a distributed execution environment comprised of diverse computing resources as an alternative solution to this problem. this execution environment can be defined as a mobile cloud. However, the inherent unreliability of the mobile cloud requires developers to add reliability within the applications separately making the development process tedious. In this position paper, we present Aegis - a framework that provides a reliable and unified computing platform with built-in failure detection and repair mechanisms. Aegis draws upon the actor based execution model as well as stream processing applications to provide a reliable overlay over unreliable environments. Overlap network communications and computations is a major requirement to ensure scalability of HPC applications on future exascale machines. To this purpose the de-facto MPI standard provides non-blocking routines for asynchronous communication progress. In various implementations, a dedicated progress thread (PT) is deployed on the host CPU to actually achieve this overlap. However, current PT solutions struggle to find a balance between efficient detection of network events and minimal impact on the application computations. In this paper we propose a solution inspired from the PT approach which benefits from idle time of compute threads to make MPI communication progress in background. We implement our idea in the context of MPI+OpenMP collaboration using the OpenMP Tools interface which will be part of the OpenMP 5.0 standard. Our solution shows an overall performance gain on unbalanced workloads such as the AMG CORAL benchmark. © 2018, Springer international Publishing AG, part of Springer Nature.

this article summarizes five years of operational experience of the WLCG Tier1 computer centre at the Laboratory of Information technologies of Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, which serves the CMS experiment at LHC. In early 2013 the Tier1 prototype was deployed and its trial operation began. March, 2015 is the date of finalization of this complex and commissioning a full-scale Tier1 centre for CMS at JINR. Since its inception it was continuously adapted to the new requirements, introducing new hardware and technologies as they became available. the resources provided by the centre to the CMS experiment have increased significantly and it is on top reliability levels as compared to other Tier1 centers processing data for CMS. A special Tier1 network centre was developed to provide scalability of its network infrastructure. Additional work has been done in the recent years in hardware and services monitoring. A distributed data warehouse system is one of the actual issues in the field of astroparticle physics. Famous experiments, such as TAIGA, KASCADE-Grande, produce tens of terabytes of data measured by their instruments. It is critical to have a smart data warehouse system on-site to store the collected data for further distribution effectively. It is also vital to provide scientists with a handy and user-friendly interface to access the collected data with proper permissions not only on-site but also online. the latter case is handy when scientists need to combine data from different experiments for analysis.
