the advancement of communication and information technology has facilitated the creation of the Internet of things (IoT). Today, IoT plays a crucial role in tracking, recording, storing, displaying, and communicating data across various fields such as healthcare, smart cities, engineering, and more. this paper introduces a smart system designed for nursing staff in hospital wards, utilizing smart devices (STM32) with wireless capabilities and an ESP8266 WiFi communication module. these devices register and log in to the public cloud via a broadband network. the system integrates various sensors to detect light and humidity levels in the ward and includes a flame alarm function. It also controls small lamps and fans through infrared remote control and mobile phone. Additionally, the system monitors patients' heart rates and simulates blood pressure. Using the ESP8266's MQTT protocol, it uploads various data to the Alibaba Cloud platform for display. Users can observe this data through their mobile phones and send control instructions. the system also pushes notifications through DingTalk. the design and implementation of this system will enhance the efficiency and security of nursing work in hospital wards.

Rural landscapes play a significant role in rural tourism, attracting tourists and promoting sustainable development in rural areas. Current factors limiting the development of rural landscapes include the lack of a comprehensive indicator system, improper development, and interference with the lives of local residents. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the Chinese public’s attention to rural landscapes, this study collected and analyzed Weibo posts related to rural landscapes. We employed web scraping techniques and topic modeling methods on the Sina Weibo platform. the research findings indicate that the level of public attention in China is greatly influenced by policies. the vast majority of the Chinese public holds a positive attitude toward rural landscapes. the local flavor of rural areas is the most interesting factor for the public when exploring rural landscapes. Unreasonable development in new rural areas gives the local residents a sense of intrusion. through sentiment analysis of rural landscape discussions, this study will assist decision-makers in understanding the emotional orientation and focus of the public, and aid scholars in providing new theoretical references. this is of great significance for the integrity of policies and the exploration of rural landscape development models. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

In this paper, a method of single-phase grounding fault line selection based on high frequency energy proportion of zero sequence current and polarity clustering is proposed. According to the energy proportion of the high frequency components of zero sequence current extracted by VMD in the first 1/4 cycle, and combined with the first half-wave polarity of zero sequence current, a synthetic feature matrix is constructed to characterize the fault characteristics of transient zero-sequence current. the fault lines are identified by genetic simulated annealing Fuzzy C-means clustering(FCM) algorithm without threshold setting. Using RTDS/ RSCAD to build a 10kV distribution network system model, different fault conditions are simulated and tested. the results show that the method can achieve accurate and reliable line selection for the possible influencing factors in engineering practice. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). A large amount of multi-source and heterogeneous fault data is generated by different levels of data collection equipment such as metering equipment, low-voltage station monitoring equipment, and camping and distribution fusion system, and in order to improve the accuracy and real-time performance of the electrical fault diagnosis, an electrical fault diagnosis method fusing volumetric Kalman filtering and Bayesian network is proposed. Firstly, a fusion strategy based on timescale alignment is used to construct a dataset within a unified time frame for data from different systems;secondly, volumetric Kalman filtering is used to fuse the dataset to obtain a consistent estimate of the global state of the system, and the abnormal state is identified in time through the prediction and updating steps;then, the basic events are identified through the fault determination results to construct a fault tree and mapped to Bayesian network nodes, and a Bayesian network bi-directional computation function is utilized. Bayesian network bidirectional calculation function to calculate the probability of fault occurrence, reverse inference of the cause of fault occurrence;finally, the experimental results show that, when the ‘Line fault’ occurs, the Bayesian network calculates that the probability of ‘Ground fault’ is 34%, which can be used to determine the fault occurrence of the system. the probability of occurrence is 34%, which can be determined as the cause of fault occurrence, and the F1 score in the comparison experiment reaches 92.27%, which verifies the validity of the fault tree-Bayesian network reasoning about the cause of fault occurrence constructed in this paper, and effectively improves the fault detection and diagnosis capability of the power system, and helps the stable construction of the power system. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

With the deepening reform and construction of the police system, it is imperative to fully utilize technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, cloud computing, and the Internet of things to rapidly enhance the intelligence level of the new generation command center. Natural language processing and deep learning technologies can achieve recognition, understanding, and correlation analysis of public security textual information, which are core steps in building intelligence. Due to the diversity of information in the public security field, the accuracy of these technologies still requires further research. In the analysis of public security incidents, the application of NLP technology faces challenges in optimizing technical models and algorithms, which greatly enhances the efficiency and accuracy of public safety management by analyzing, understanding, predicting, and responding to various security challenges in an intelligent manner. With the advent of the big data era, the public security sector has accumulated massive amounts of police incident data, which contain rich information but also bring difficulties in processing and analysis. Traditional NLP models often struggle to cope with the complex and ever-changing police incident texts, leading to compromised accuracy and reliability of the analysis results. this paper will explore the key technological applications of NLP and deep learning in the field of public safety and provide a review of their research progress. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

In response to the challenges of high uncertainty in target threat assessment and weak coordination in situational evaluation in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) collaborative aerial detection, this paper designs an aerial detection collaborative threat assessment strategy based on fuzzy three support decision-making, effectively solving the problem of fuzzy information processing in aerial detection threat assessment. Firstly, a fuzzy threat model for aerial detection was established, simplifying the difficulty of the problem. Secondly, a threat degree calculation method is constructed using fuzzy multi-attribute decision-making theory, and a threat assessment classification method is constructed based on the fusion of improved prospect theory and three decision-making methods. this strengthens the evaluation algorithm’s ability to process fuzzy information on the field, making the threat assessment and evaluation system more flexible and effective. Subsequently, based on the single aircraft threat assessment results, a coordinated threat item for aerial detection situation was designed to further enhance the formation coordination attribute of unmanned aerial vehicle autonomous threat assessment. Finally, the effectiveness of the designed method was verified through digital simulation in the presence/absence of collaborative aerial detection scenarios, demonstrating its ability to resist fuzzy interference. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

News recommendation is an important feature to help users discover news that matches their bias. In response to users’ growing privacy concerns, various recommendation models integrating joint learning have been developed to preserve user privacy. However, these approaches often prioritize protecting user privacy over recommendation performance. this study introduces a federated news recommendation method, FNRS-MSC (Federated News Recommender system Integrating Multiple Self-Attention and Convolution), to address this challenge. the approach is based on a federated learning recommendation model that integrates an attention mechanism in a pre-trained language model (BERT), which is capable of extracting essential features and reducing dimensionality to enhance news representations. In addition, a one-dimensional convolutional layer is integrated for the user encoder in a multiple self-attention model (NRMS) to address the problem of ignoring news features in the user model. Experimental results on two real datasets show that the approach outlined in this study is effective in both protecting user privacy and providing high-quality recommendations. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

In this paper, we examine a method for automatic chord estimation (ACE) using foundational models. We present a series of configurations for a system that estimates chord progressions by fine-tuning a foundation model with self-supervised learning, which addresses the problem of insufficient labeled data in music informatics, and examine how hyperparameters and minor configuration changes in the fine-tuning process affect estimation accuracy. the purpose of this study is to show how an ACE system using a foundation model pre-trained from unlabeled data should be specifically designed and implemented, and to indicate the factors during training that affect its accuracy. In the study, the conditions at learning time were compared using MusicFM, which was published in a previous study that used the foundation model to acquire musical information. the comparison revealed that while the application of techniques in deep learning, such as the use of the Nadam optimizer and the implementation of stepwise fine tuning, improved accuracy, factors that increase the complexity of learning per epoch, such as the weighting of the loss function and the complexity of the output layer, could hinder the improvement in accuracy. Overall, the model performed as well or better than existing models in estimating chord progressions for triads. these findings contribute to the promotion of the use of pre-trained foundational models in ACE, helping to understand the knowledge from the first steps of implementation to further extensions. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

his study presents a Tomato Leaf Disease Detection and Management system utilizing the YOLOv5 deep learning algorithm. the system is designed to accurately identify various tomato leaf diseases, including Yellow Leaf Curl Virus and early blight, using a comprehensive dataset of labeled images. through extensive training and validation, the model demonstrated high accuracy and efficiency, with a mean average precision (mAP) of 0.919 at a 0.5 IoU *** findings highlight the potential of deep learning techniques in enhancing agricultural disease management by providing timely and precise disease detection. Practical applications include automated disease monitoring in agricultural fields, integration with precision agriculture technologies, and scalability to other crops. Despite promising results, the study acknowledges limitations related to data diversity and model generalizability, suggesting future research directions such as expanding the dataset and refining the model *** implications of this research are significant for advancing sustainable agricultural practices and improving crop health and productivity. through continued development and field trials, this system can become an essential tool for farmers and agronomists, contributing to the broader adoption of smart agriculture technologies. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Insulator defects commonly occur in high-voltage transmission lines and can compromise the insulator’s ability to isolate voltage and support conductors, thereby impacting the safe and stable operation of the power system. therefore, quickly and accurately locating insulator defect positions is of significant importance. However, due to the diverse types and irregular shapes of insulator defects, detection accuracy is often low. To address this, in this paper, we design a Spatial and Channel Reconstruction Feature Pyramid Network (SCRFPN) to enhance the model’s feature extraction and fusion capabilities. Furthermore, we introduce a dyhead module after the SCRFPN, which integrates scale-aware, spatial-aware, and task-aware attention, enabling the model to focus more effectively on defective areas of the insulators in images. Finally, we construct an insulator defect dataset that encompasses various scenarios, providing a benchmark for detecting insulator defects in high-voltage transmission lines. By integrating SCRFPN into a basic cascade RCNN model, we achieved a 2.3% increase in average precision (AP), significantly improving the model’s detection performance. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).
