With the rapid development of cloud computing, more and more applications are deployed in the cloud. this trend brings cloud infrastructure providers to build distributed data centers to provide physical resources for multi-domain-deployed jobs of these applications. However, the heterogeneity of resources and the different execution periodicity of tasks in jobs pose great challenges to the efficiency of large scale job executions. To solve this problem, we propose a periodic task-oriented scheduling architecture in cloud computing. this architecture provides resource domains for the scheduler to shield the details of the underlying heterogeneous resources. Moreover, it implements job-level scheduling and task-level scheduling by our proposed PTS algorithm and RMDU4T algorithm to improve the execution efficiency and resource utilization. Experimental results show the proposed architecture can reduce the scheduling times to less than 10% and reduce the average job completion time by 10%similar to 40% under different distribution of tasks and resources, and the CPU resource utilization is improved by about 15%.

In this study, parallel particle swarm optimization algorithm has been investigated as regards the impact of the problem properties on the execution time. Two major factors affect the performance of parallel evolutionary algorithms: the population size and the problem dimension. In this study, five well-know benchmark functions have been applied with different dimensions. then, these functions have been compared as regards the execution time. Finally, uniformly distributed population has been compared with the chaotic distributed population based on the dimension and population size from previous discussion.

Traditional phishing detection methods are mostly based on computer platforms and cannot be directly applied to mobile devices. this paper proposes a new two-dimensional code phishing detection method called LogoPhish. We use the logo to determine the identity between a two-dimensional code's actual identity and the described identity. the method includes two processes: logo extraction and identity detection. the first process uses a mobile phone to scan the two-dimensional code to extract the logo and perform image processing. the second process uses the Google image search engine to determine the identity of the logo. Since the relationship between the logo and the domain name is exclusive, it is reasonable to use the domain name as an identifier. the experimental results show that LogoPhish has a good effect and is superior to the traditional detection method in the detection of two-dimensional code phishing attacks.

the emergence of mobile devices and wireless services brings unprecedented traffic demand, which causes the bad quality of experience arises in traditional reactive networks, such as long loading time and loss of responsiveness. this paper presents the heuristic prefetching caching strategy in 5G networks, which prefetches content based on its historical frequency in order to improve the quality of experience. the cache of the base station is split into the proactive one and the reactive one. the proactive cache prefetches the popular content within the limit of capacity for a sum total maximum of frequency, while the reactive one caches others with the ordinary caching algorithm. At each period, we adjust the proportion of the proactive cache to minimize latency based on the idea of Simulated Annealing. Under the circumstances where all the content is predictable, our caching strategy improves hit ratio by 20%. And it reduces latency by 15% in the architecture of 400MB small base stations and even 52% with 200MB small base stations, which could enhance the quality of experience to a great degree.

distributed stream processing can accomplish real-time processing of continuous streaming big data to obtain valuable information with high velocity. To maintain continuously stable and efficient running of stream applications, however, continuous online scheduling operations are required in the context of highly dynamic data stream. For this reason, this paper proposes the on-the-fly scheduling strategy in a distributed stream processing environment, which dynamically predicts abnormal events through double exponential smoothing and adopts trafficaware active migration protocol to adjust the network routing structure on-the-fly to balance the inter-worker load. Moreover, an evaluation method is proposed to quantitatively analyze the various scheduling objectives. Finally, we commendably apply the scheduling strategy to a stream processing platform, which regards docker instance as basic scheduling units. Meanwhile, based on the platform and the evaluation method, we complete performance comparison experiments of the scheduling algorithm. the experimental results indicate that our algorithm has excellent performance in throughput of topology, average processing time and balance of task load, which is suitable for deployment in a distributed environment with large-scale nodes and tasks.

In this paper, we study the impact of multi processor memory systems in particular, the distributed memory (I)M) and virtual shared memory (VSM), on the implementation of parallel backpropagation neural network algorithms. In the first instance, neural network is partitioned into sub neural networks by applying a hybrid partitioning scheme. In the second, each partitioned network is evaluated with matrix multiplication. three different sizes of neural networks are used and exchange rate prediction used as a reference problem. parallel implementations for each of the distributed memory and virtual shared memory scenarios is obtained. these algorithms are implemented on a high performance cluster, "Monolith" consisting of over 396 nodes. Programming is realized using Message Passing Interface (MPI) library and C-Linda. the partitioned, matrix multiplication has the fastest execution time, and DM/MPI implementation is always faster than the VSM/Linda equivalent. However in VSM/Linda it is possible to allow the parallel neural network to choose the optimum number of processors dynamically.

In this article, we present designs for a Multi Winner Proof of Work (MWPoW) consensus primitive. MWPoW is a consensus protocol that places the group mining idea directly into a protocol to prevent power centralization, higher general reward expectation among participants and shorten the interval time of block generation. It makes every miner a component of one of three groups assigned by the network, not as an individual competitor;all users in the winner group receive compensation. the hash difficulty is higher than ordinary blockchain because there are only three parties in the system. MWPoW powered block-chain is more secure from tampering. the blocks can be quickly final accepted without later block confirms, which makes it possible for block interval time to be minuteness. the experiment suggests the hash rate of MWPoW is around 1500 times larger than Nakamoto blockchain while it only requires about 1 second to finally accept a block in the lab environment (with 3-second block interval). MWPoW is universal profitable (the mining remuneration is much more distributed than Nakamoto block-chain).

Directive-drive programming models, such as OpenMP, are one solution for exploiting the potential of multi-core architectures, and enable developers to accelerate software applications by adding annotations on for-type loops and other code regions. However, manual parallelization of applications is known to be a non trivial and time consuming process, requiring parallel programming skills. Automatic parallelization approaches can reduce the burden on the application development side. this paper presents an OpenMP based automatic parallelization compiler, named AutoPar-Clava, for automatic identification and annotation of loops in C code. By using static analysis, parallelizable regions are detected, and a compilable OpenMP parallel code from the sequential version is produced. In order to reduce the accesses to shared memory by each thread, each variable is categorized into the proper OpenMP scoping. Also, AutoPar-Clava is able to support reduction on arrays, which is available since OpenMP 4.5. the effectiveness of AutoPar-Clava is evaluated by means of the Polyhedral Benchmark suite, and targeting a N-cores x86-based computing platform. the achieved results are very promising and compare favorably with closely related auto-parallelization compilers such as Intel C/C++ Compiler (i.e., icc), ROSE, TRACO, and Cetus.

Concurrent software testing is particularly challenging because such systems have a miraculous number of possible executions. Colored Petri Net (CPN) is suitable for parallel description and path analysis and selection, so concurrent system testing can be conducted by means of CPN model. However, CPN has state explosion problem, which makes test coverage difficult to achieve. In this paper, the purpose of a test is described by specifying the group of behaviors to be tested. It is believed that the test coverage can be achieved by covering all paths formed by tested behaviors and data dependent behaviors, and the data irrelevant behaviors will not affect the occurrence of the behaviors to be tested. therefore, this paper proposes a method for automatic detection of data related behaviors related to the tested behavior, which can automatically detect related behaviors according to the transfer relationship of data in the model. the ultimate purpose of this method is to prepare for the serialization of unrelated behaviors, thereby reducing the state space and improving the test efficiency. In order to realize the method of automatically detecting the data related behaviors, the related data of the behavior to be tested is obtained first. then, by using the recursive method, the behavior that affects the related data is determined as the data related behavior of the tested behavior. At last, a practical example is presented to verify the effectiveness of the method.

With the increasing of scale and complexity of high performance computing (HPC) systems, the programming, debugging, and tuning of large-scale parallel programs face a series of challenges, one of which is that programmers often need to repeatedly run their programs with large number of processes on HPC systems to identify sources of errors and performance bottlenecks in their programs, which means large amounts of resource consumptions. Furthermore, since most HPC systems use job scheduling system to manage their resources and schedule multiple jobs from different users, programmers cannot interact with their programs during the execution of programs, which further increases complexities of debugging and tuning. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a system that reruns large-scale MPI parallel programs using two nodes. According to an approach of one real-execution + multiple emulation-executions, the parallel program is firstly executed with desired number of processes on an HPC system, which is referred as real-execution, and during the execution, our system records MPI messages transmitted among processes as well as control information of processes;after that, one or more processes can be re-run on a two-node local system under the scale the same with the real-execution. In the meantime, programmers can interact with their programs by attaching the GDB, a commonly used debugger, to the re-running process. therefore, not only can our system reduce resource-consumptions in debugging and tuning of large-scale parallel programs significantly, but also support interactions between developers and their programs during the execution of the programs, which makes programmers easier to identify sources of the errors and performance bottlenecks in their parallel programs.
