the number of motorbike theft case in Indonesia has increasing rapidly. this phenomenon led to the increasing of the criminal number especially motorbike theft case. Nowadays, the use of CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) camera has been widely applied. Nevertheless, CCTV does not has the ability to prevent criminal acts such motorbike theft case. therefore, there is a need of a technology based to prevent motorbike theft acts. this research proposed an initial research of motorbike theft detection system that focused on the process of motorbike detection using Deep Learning approach. In this research, the YOLO architecture was utilized to detect the motorbike object inside an image frame. there are two testing scenarios for motorbike detection process, using trained model, and using pre-trained model. the trained model obtain better result rather than using pre-trained model by achieving 0.93 of its accuracy that proven the YOLO v8 model are working well especially when it is applied with transfer learning process for its based model. © 2023 IEEE.

With the continuous development of Tibetan medicine, using machine learning technology to enhance the value of Tibetan medical data has become very important. However, the concerns of Tibetan medical institutions about data leakage have hindered the sharing of Tibetan medical data. therefore, in this paper, we propose a privacy preserving computation framework based on dual servers. Our framework can securely store Tibetan medical data on cloud servers. the secure computation (such as machine learning training or machine learning prediction) is performed by cloud servers without compromising data. On the premise of ensuring data security, we combine the multi-key homomorphic encryption and secret sharing to design some secure building blocks. through the security analysis and performance evaluation, our proposed scheme is efficient and practical. © 2023 IEEE.

Rapid electronic device development requires more complicated and densely packed PCB designs. these systems need properly placed and connected electrical components for best performance and reliability. Complexity and time restrictions are rendering manual methods ineffective. therefore, AI-based PCB insertion and routing automation methods have been developed. this research suggests using AI to optimize PCB component arrangement and routing. the system uses machine learning and optimization to improve design efficiency. the AI system creates layouts that match performance requirements, decrease signal interference, and meet manufacturing limits using previous design data and user preferences. A learning module that updates its knowledge base, an algorithm that chooses between design objectives, and real-time user input are examples. Signal integrity, thermal issues, and manufacturability are considered while modifying design requirements. Evaluation of the suggested methodology shows considerable gains in design efficiency, time-to-market, and electronic system performance. this research improves AI-automated PCB design, enabling more complex and effective electrical systems. AI in PCB design will revolutionize the industry by solving complicated design problems and speeding up the development of cutting-edge electronics. © 2024 IEEE.

the prevalence of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) patients has significantly increased recently, and early diagnosis is crucial. AI-aided solutions for diagnosing AD have been rising for decades. the majority of these solutions show the application of deep learning methods, both with and without transfer learning. However, a few issues have been noted that require attention in order to detect AD: a. there is a lack of scale-invariant feature modelling, and b. there is a lack of spatial attention paid to scale-invariant features. the suggested model addresses these issues in two ways: first, an efficient multiscale feature modelling module (EMFMM) is designed to exploit scale invariant features through multilayers each having multicolumn of dilated convolution layers. At each layer the multicolumn features are concatenated and forwarded to its subsequent layer. Secondly, the spatial convolution block attention (SCBA) is plugged in different layers of concatenated features to provide spatial attention over the multiscale features. the spatially attentive feature maps from several SCBAs are further concatenated and given to a multilayer neural network to employ disease forecasting. Two open-source datasets, OASIS and AD-Dataset, are used to demonstrate extensive experiment. the suggested model performs better than current best practices, with accuracy values on OASIS and AD-Dataset of 99.75% and 96.20%, respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

this study explores digital character design as a medium for cultural education and edutainment, focusing on the Lanna ethnic identity. Integrating the traditional Lanna costume design into digital characters, research aims to create an effective tool for cultural learning. Emphasizing early cultural appreciation among young learners, the study combines Chibi character creation and paper doll artistry to form an interactive educational platform. this platform not only entertains but also imparts in-depth knowledge about Lanna culture and heritage. Collaborative efforts with design experts led to prototypes representing five Lanna ethnic groups: Tai Yuan, Tai Lue, Tai Yai, Tai Khuen, and Tai Yong, which were tested and evaluated for child engagement. the study examines the impact and potential outcomes of this unique approach, highlighting digital paper dolls as a dynamic tool for enhancing cultural awareness. It offers an immersive exploration of cultural diversity, emphasizing traditional costumes, and contributes significantly to fostering a broader cultural understanding for children. © 2024 IEEE.

this paper proposes a novel robot joint with an integrated braking mechanism to enhance motion accuracy and flexibility. this joint design eliminates the need for additional bearings to support the motion shaft, resulting in lower cost and improved dynamic performance. A new dual-encoder installation method is employed in the design, which shortens the joint's axial length and increases the radius of the optical grating without changing the joint's outer diameter. Additionally, a newly designed electromagnetic brake is fully integrated within the joint, further improving compactness. Based on this design, finite element simulation is used to confirm the reliability of the joint's support components and brake. Finally, a robotic joint experimental platform is constructed. the experimental results demonstrate that the joint exhibits excellent kinematic performance. © 2025 Institute of Physics Publishing. Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is an eye disease that can potentially cause significant injury in those diagnosed with diabetes. the condition arises due to issues with blood circulation to the retina, the delicate tissue in the posterior part of the eye. DR is recognized as the leading factor contributing to visual impairment among those affected by diabetes. However, timely identification and intervention might mitigate the occurrence of this condition. Conversely, the timely identification of DR poses challenges, while the diagnostic process can be laborious and time-intensive. the automated detection of DR necessitates categorizing colour retinal fundus pictures. this article presents a computer-aided diagnostic strategy that utilizes Deep Learning (DL) algorithms. In order to classify retinal fundus pictures, this study employed a combination of DL models, specifically ResNet50 and Inception V3. the studies are being conducted on the DIARETDB1 dataset. An analysis is conducted to compare the results of the suggested methodology. the comparison study results show that the proposed approach has more significant accuracy levels than the other methods. A high degree of accuracy, that is, 98.37%, has been attained by utilising the proposed techniques. © 2023 IEEE.

this paper presents an innovative approach for generating realistic 3D face and body meshes from textual descriptions, combining the strengths of stable diffusion with advanced models like DECA (Detailed Expression Capture and Animation) and PIFuHD (Multi-Level Pixel-Aligned Implicit Function for High-Resolution 3D Human Digitization). Dual Stable Diffusion pipelines generate images corresponding to textual attributes for faces and bodies. these images are then converted into 3D models- the DECA model processes the facial image for cresting a detailed mesh and texture, hence generating a 3D face, while the PIFuHD model constructs the 3D body model from the body image. this transformative approach ensures realistic and diverse character synthesis, matching specific features such as age, gender, and certain other physical traits. the effectiveness of the method is evident in its visual quality with potential applications in virtual environments and entertainment, hence setting a new standard in the realm of character design and generation. © 2024 IEEE.

During childhood, play is important for promoting the mental and physical development of children. For this reason, those involved with childcare (guardians and childcare workers) need to create an environment suitable for child development and provide children with support and guidance. However, because there are unique elements to the development of each individual child, childcare workers caring for large numbers of children, and guardians in remote areas, may struggle to oversee the daily development of the children in their care. Particularly in Japan, the lack of vacancy at nursery schools and the number of nursery school teachers is regarded as a problem in spite of declining birth rate. therefore, there is a strong desire to realize a society in which children can be raised safely and securely without burdening parents and childcare workers. To solve this problem, we propose various types of toys with built-in sensors that are used to collect motion data during play activities, and a system intended to help estimate the child's development stage by creating a data visualization for childcare workers. In this paper, we built a pen-holder type device for measuring the development of drawing skills. Using this prototype, as the first step of an evaluation, we conducted an experiment to verify whether it is possible to discern four types of drawings focusing on changes in drawing skills related to child development. the results showed that they could be identified with 75.75% (SVM) and 69.25% (RF) accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.
