Online storage and use of digital assets and applications are both aspects of cloud computing. through a computer network, distributed information systems store and transmit data. Data and effort have both grown for studying and keeping track of outcomes. Cloud-based parallel processing techniques must be improved. Our research hastens the resolution of interactive composite jobs. In this innovative architecture, cell phones act as servers for distributed parallel processing and cloud computing. Users with restricted availability could find the update useful for completing challenging jobs. the recommended strategy is supported by cloud computing, which may expand to infinity servers (webserver). Servers between clients and servers are automatically registered by web servers. Cloud storage and client-side matrices (web server). To ensure timely completion, the server distributes matrix algebra assignments to all subscribed workstations. Before transmitting results to the user, the server uploads them to the cloud. A large number of sets of two-dimensional matrices were requested from the user, and the responses were compared to the total number of servers that were available. © 2023 IEEE.

the advent of the Internet of things (loT) has opened up a realm of possibilities in developing globally accessible systems and devices. With the current state of internet speeds, these systems offer real-time control, making them more powerful than ever. Simultaneously, the healthcare sector has been witnessing notable advancements, but it also grapples with an increasing number of health issues, with heart problems standing out as a prominent concern in many countries. these problems manifest in various symptoms, some of which can lead to more serious conditions, such as irregular heartbeats. In response to these challenges and leveraging cutting-edge technology, researchers have embarked on endeavors to enhance healthcare devices and render them more readily available to medical professionals. this paper explores the merging of loT technology with healthcare, specifically focusing on the development of a system designed to monitor and record a patient's heartbeat. this is achieved through the deployment of a Heartbeat/SpO2 Sensor, and the data is seamlessly transmitted to a mobile application accessible remotely. the outcomes of this study demonstrate that the heartbeat data captured by Arduino is effectively transmitted to the cloud, meeting the system's predefined objectives. this represents a significant stride in harnessing loT's potential to enhance healthcare practices and patient monitoring. © 2023 IEEE.

Underwater wireless sensor networks are vital for gathering data from underwater surroundings. they are essential for several applications, including disaster recovery, environmental monitoring, and marine geographical surveys. Present UWSNs receive attention, especially since their overall performance is significantly affected by precision geographic node localization. this paper comprehensively studies the methods and algorithms implemented for localization under UWSNs, focusing on the specific difficulties in the underwater environment. the research investigates multiple approaches used in underwater localization, covering hybrid processes that integrate various technologies, those using sound waves, and those based on magnetic fields. these methods are analyzed to define their advantages and disadvantages, obtaining necessary knowledge on accuracy, energy consumption, and deployment costs. Moreover, the research reviews recent achievements in artificial intelligence and machine learning to address the issue of low accuracy in underwater localization. the project also investigates the factors affecting sensor node localization, which is essential for understanding the specific conditions of the process. Problems with underwater communication systems include node mobility, GPS signal absence, disadvantageous underwater conditions, and signal propagation in aquatic settings. this study examines how different barriers affect the design and implementation of localization algorithms in UWSNs. through an analysis of the approaches, methods, and challenges specific to UWSNs, this paper provides a valuable resource for researchers, engineers, and practitioners working in this field. © 2024 IEEE.

the recent progress in the design of deep neural networks has led a huge step forward in inference accuracy and opened new opportunities also in the design of AI aided medical hardware. However deep neural models have a high demand in both computational as well as memory resources. To make these systems applicable in the field, it is necessary to find a suitable hardware-software ecosystem, which can meet these demands at a sufficiently low energy consumption. For this purpose, we evaluated a modern heterogeneous embedded platform with a deep convolutional network for hand position recognition, based on the collection of electromyography signals. the goal of our evaluation was to find out, how much effort must be spent for optimization, if the architecture itself would be sufficient for the usage as human wearable device and which of the available accelerators on the embedded platform are best suited for the task. © ICWI *** rights reserved.

With a smartphone app or web interface, users with different demographic profiles may book and pay for parking spaces, cutting down on the time and stress involved in locating a place. Hence, such parking systems should be usable and intuitive to end users. therefore, this research aims to evaluate the usability of existing car parking applications and to propose an intuitive and usable car parking application. To attain these objectives, three smart car parking mobile applications (Parking Koi, ParkWhiz, and Spothero) were selected and evaluated through heuristic evaluation and a user study. the studies revealed several usability problems such as lack of feedback, instructions, flexibility and adaptability. According to the severity of issues, the Park Whiz application encountered the least number of issues in total, while the Spothero program experienced the highest number of problems. Comparing with Parking Koi and Spothero, Parkwhiz's average level of severity is substantially higher. the user study revealed that the three car parking applications' interfaces are poorly designed and provided the suggestions for improvement to enhance user attention. Finally, a prototype of a car parking application with an intuitive UIs is proposed to address the revealed usability problems. © 2023 IEEE.

this paper introduces a multifunctional signal generator based on STM32 microcontroller for ground electric field detection applications. the signal generator can output a variety of waveforms such as sine wave, triangle wave and square wave, the highest output voltage can reach 600 V, and the frequency can be adjusted within 2 Hz. through careful design, the signal generator can generate the output waveform with small harmonic components, which is helpful to improve the precision and accuracy of geoelectric field detection. the experimental results show that the designed signal generator has good performance and stability in the ground electric field detection, and has high application value and practicability. the design and application of the signal generator provide a new and efficient detection method for the field of ground electric field detection, which has broad application prospect and popularization value © 2024 IEEE.

Growing guavas is important for farming in many places, but due to the various guava diseases, the yield may get reduced. In the traditional scenario, it becomes very difficult to detect and reduce the effect of diseases on the guava fruit. this study looks into using state-of-the-art deep learning methods, especially the DenseNet model. It helps in the early detection of guava disease quickly and with good performance outcomes. the new model uses a DenseNet design with Adam and SGD optimizers. It reaches high accuracies of 98.76% for the Adam one and 97.3% for the SGD optimizer, after about the 30th epoch the performance of the SGD optimizer started to degrade, whereas, the highest and best performance with Adam was achieved at epoch 43. the study looks at how long it takes to train a model and its performance. It finds that training for 43 cycles gives the best balance of time savings and quality results. When the comparison of both the optimizers has been done, we found that the Adam outperforms and results in the F1-Scores of 0.9612 and 0.9523 for Adam and SGD optimizers, respectively. this shows that the model can tell apart different types of diseases in guava leaves with effective and efficient outcomes. the proposed model can also sort out different types of leaf problems and may help to classify illnesses in other crops as well with more training data. this study helps us understand how deep learning, like the DenseNet model, can be used to rightly predict diseases in guava crops. this is important for eco-friendly farming. © 2024 IEEE.

As deep learning grows rapidly, model training heavily relies on parallel methods and there exist numerous cluster configurations. However, current preferences for parallel training focus on data centers, overlooking the financial constraints faced by most researchers. To attain the best performance within the cost limitation, we introduce a throughput-cost metric to accurately characterize clusters' cost-effectiveness. Based on this metric, we design a cost-effective cluster featuring the 3090 with NVLink. the experiment results demonstrate that our cluster achieves remarkable cost-effectiveness in various distributed model training schemes. © 2023 IEEE.

Preventive strategies should be the utmost priority when dealing with diverse patients suffering from malignant ventricular arrhythmia (MVA) that can lead to sudden cardiac death (SCD). Electrocardiogram (ECG) data is commonly used as a predictor for MVA predictive models. In this study, all ECG signals from MIT-BIH databases were fragmented into five-minute durations with a frequency sampling of 128 Hz. To solve the absence of hybrid optimizations in Machine Learning (ML) models, a novel Variational Quantum Neural Network (VQNN) was invented. Empowered by deep learning capabilities and optimized quantum circuits design, VQNN achieved remarkable performances designated by an accuracy of up to 95.1%, a perfect 100% recall, and a 95.2% score of the area under the Receiver Operating Characteristic curve (AUC ROC) with Conjugate Gradient as an optimizer and EfficientSU2 as a quantum ansatz. Despite the susceptibility to quantum noise, this research settles a new trajectory of utilizing quantum variational algorithms to predict and expand its applicability for MVA cases. © 2024 the Authors.

Nôm is a writing system of Vietnamese that had been used for almost ten centuries and contains a lot of valuable documents. However, because of their complexity, a Nôm script can be transliterated into one or more of the Vietnamese national scripts (polyphonic), which makes transliteration difficult. In this paper, we propose a method to reduce this complexity by grouping similar words in the statistical machine translation process. Especially, we use class-based language models to enhance higher-level abstract information, making the transliteration model better solve the polyphonic. Our experiments give an improvement of +0.39 BLEU compared to the baseline model, proving the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 ACM.
