Use of electronic monitoring techniques in organizational settings has significantly gained in relevance in recent years, predominantly due to the increased availability of corresponding information and communication technologies. Moreover, the restricted social mobility due to COVID-19 and the resulting increase of home office has come along with an increased interest of employers to monitor the activities of their employees. Against the background of these developments, along withthe general importance of theory-focused research, the goal of this review is to identify the theories used in the electronic performance monitoring (EPM) literature and to illustratively show how recently identified research gaps could be examined in future studies based on theory integration. A total of twelve theories were extracted from the literature and examined. Four of these theories were integrated in a conceptual framework. In addition, a study design for future research is outlined. the overall objective of the present contribution is to strengthen the theoretical foundation of the EPM research field.

In this study, we designed and implemented a virtual reality-based pedagogical framework. the framework can be altered to be used for any laboratorybased class such as biology, chemistry, and physics. the framework has four main modules: Interface, Companion, Virtual Reality Scene, and Online Dashboard. the "Interface" module allows for the human computer interaction. the "Companion" module is based on voice recognition and replaces a laboratory assistant. the Online Dashboard acts as a user interface for teachers to create virtual laboratory scenes and upload them to theVirtualReality Scene. We carried out a usability study and asked five faculty members with different backgrounds to carry out five tasks. the results showed that all the subjects had a positive experience withthe virtual reality based pedagogical framework. the subjects mentioned that they expect virtual reality to be part of education in the near feature, especially for laboratory classes and that the pandemic has proved that VR is the future.

the paper Aerial target system design for effective air defence training deals withthe design and definition of on-board components of Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) used for training ground-based air defence (GBAD) units. the main goal of the paper is to define the essential requirements of UAS to be applicable as an aerial target system (ATS). Fundamental elements and the most common autopilots are described, analysed, and compared. the analysis results are implemented over specific scenarios for GBAD units training in the tactical simulator environment (Re-PLAN). the tactical simulator environment is specifically designed for GBAD capabilities evaluation and includes the various options of scenario settings and verification (e.g. optical visibility evaluation, radar, fire unit effectivity, etc.) the obtained results are summarized and implemented into exercise variants using the target drone and the proposed onboard system, which is suitable for different types of GBAD system principles (visual, IR, radar).
