IoT systems provide excellent solutions to many applications in both civilian and military aspects. this is even facilitated by the advent of many types of cameras with the diminishing cost of communication devices. We focus on the surveillance system that collaboratively monitors an intended area. A good design of such systems should ensure complete coverage with the ability to detect and track objects. Existing surveillance systems produce sensing coverage redundancy with extra communication overhead and cost. this paper presents an IoT-based surveillance system that exhibits many features. First, it provides an efficient distributed network clustering algorithm based on the Field of View (FoV) of cameras. Second, maximum area coverage can be achieved with a minimum number of camera sensors. Simulation results show that our proposed camera distribution algorithm outperforms other existing techniques in terms of the needed number of cameras, coverage percentage, and cluster size. We also believe that the efficiency of our algorithm can be improved with the involvement of the reinforcement learning approach where dynamic camera adaptation can be achieved based on the traffic distribution and changing conditions in the surveillance area. © 2023 IEEE.

Government-imposed social interaction restrictions and strict health protocol implementation during the pandemic have presented challenges for wedding organizer businesses, resulting in increased long-distance commercial communications and transactions between wedding organizer service providers and their customers. this research aims to create a website-based ordering application that allows one wedding organizer to manage data that is integrated with the database, making it easier for customers to order wedding packages. the application has three actors: administrator, manager, and customer. the methodology used in this research is descriptive and qualitative, with data collection techniques using field observations, interviews, and literature review. Rapid Application Development (RAD) as a software development methodology. the beta score obtained in this study is 89%, indicating that the score is in the 'very feasible' category for use and that the user in that interface adheres to the eight golden rules of interface design. According to the study, a web-based system can increase communication between customers and administrative services, provide affordable custom services, allow online buying, and improve corporate productivity by offering automated documentation and reporting. this system information also provides an admin interface for authorized System Admin in managing the users, wedding packages, business transactions, and reporting system. © 2024 IEEE.

the rapid development of information technology has always related to the data collection and processing according to business needs and requirements. this data serves as an important source of information stored in a database and to be displayed in an information system. Along with the advancement of information technology, the demand for faster and larger data processing has become a challenge faced by many industries especially in the Telecommunications field. therefore, an efficient database system is needed to handle the increasing volume of data, using storage methods such as distributed database and columnar storage to improve data processing performance and reduce its size. the use of these storage methods needs to be empirically and comparatively evaluated. this research uses K6 testing framework on the PostgreSQL database. the result indicates that the use of PostgreSQL database with distributed database and columnar storage methods can increase query processing performance in the database by 48.2% faster for select query commands, decrease by 3.3% for insert query command and 74.6% reduction of table storage size compared to PostgreSQL without these methods. Hence, the use of these storage methods is highly suitable and recommended for implementation in industries that requires fast and large-scale data processing such as Telecommunication Industry. © 2023 IEEE.

the high-pressure simulation cabin is a device that simulates the marine environment and cultivates halobios. the in-cabin sampler assists people in sampling biological resources without destroying the ecological environment in the cabin. In this paper, the design of the water hydraulic system is completed with the sampler as the research object, the relevant hydraulic components are calculated and selected, and the thermal balance of the entire hydraulic system is calculated. the AMESim software was used to model and simulate the hydraulic system of each joint of the sampler, and the simulation results were compared with the theoretical calculation results to verify the rationality of the calculation and selection. the results show that the simulation results are basically consistent with the theoretical calculation results, and the calculation and selection of related components of each joint are reasonable. © 2023 IEEE.

In the context of the digital era, government data governance is a key factor in promoting the modernization of government governance, but there is a lack of a complete set of evaluation index system to standardize the content and scope of government data governance. this paper adopts the policy tool theory to code and analyze the 12 policies from the three policy tool dimensions of supply layer, demand layer, and environment layer, and proposes three first-level evaluation indicators of basic environment, actual effectiveness, and safeguard mechanism, on the basis of which the evaluation content is selected in a focused manner based on the integration of policy documents related to data governance. Meanwhile, a comprehensive, scientific and objective evaluation system of government data governance is constructed by adopting assessment means combining subjectivity and objectivity, and quantitative and qualitative. the system is designed to assess and guide the data governance practices of the domestic government, point out the direction for government departments at all levels to carry out data governance, and play an important role in promoting the transparency and efficiency of data management. © 2024 IEEE.

Multidimensional parallel training has been widely applied to train large-scale deep learning models like GPT-3. the efficiency of parameter communication among training devices/processes is often the performance bottleneck of large model training. Analysis of parameter communication mode and traffic has important reference significance for the research of interconnection network design and computing task scheduling to improve the training performance. In this paper, we analyze the parametric communication modes in typical 3D parallel training (data parallelism, pipeline parallelism, and tensor parallelism), and model the traffic in different communication modes. Finally, taking GPT-3 as an example, we present the communication in its 3D parallel training. © 2023 IEEE.

this study attempted to take Maiji Mountain Grottoes as an example to design an immersive virtual reality learning environment serving for the field of cultural heritage or archaeology. Cultural heritage needs to be protected and not easy to arrive, which brings difficulties and challenges to learners. Virtual reality learning environment can provide immersive experience for users without worrying about time and space and allow flexibly switch between macro and micro world to learn more intuitively and efficiently. Based on the constructivist learning principles, this study designed a learning-guide model for immersive virtual reality learning environment, which not only dynamically display the 3D knowledge map and guide users to explore interactively in the immersive virtual reality environment, but also intelligently recommend the learning path according to the real-time feedback of learning performance and learning behavior. this paper will focus on the key points of the design of the immersive virtual reality learning environment and put forward the plan of future work. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

the agriculture sector is the most important contributor to expanding economies and people because of the vital role it plays in providing high-quality food. It is possible for plant diseases to cause significant decreases in food production as well as the extinction of endangered species. Improving food production quality and minimizing economic losses can be achieved by early identification of plant diseases utilizing reliable or automated detection techniques. Deep learning has recently made great strides in improving the accuracy of object detection and picture categorization systems. the authors of this research proposed a new method for detecting plant diseases;they called it the Learning Network for Disease Identification (LNDI), and they cross-validated it with the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Differentiating between diseases in different plant species is a key goal of this research. Several plant kinds, including as fruits and vegetables, wheat, raisins, sugarcane, and lettuce have been incorporated into the system's development process. A wide variety of herbal ailments can also be diagnosed by the computer. Using a large dataset consisting of photos of diseased and healthy plant leaves, the specialists trained deep learning models to detect and distinguish between various plant illnesses and those that went unnoticed. Biological research and agricultural institutes are only two of the many potential uses for plant leaf disease detection. Research into plant leaf disease detection is necessary because it has the potential to improve crop monitoring by automatically identifying disease signs on plant leaves as they emerge. © 2024 IEEE.

In the process of designing the learning support system, due to the low interaction flexibility between different modules, the running performance of the system is difficult to meet the application requirements under the condition of multi-user parallelism. therefore, this paper proposes the design and research of multi-agent based mathematics curriculum network collaborative learning support system. the MYC-J335X-V2 core board equipped with TI AM335X processor and ARM Cortex-A8 core is used as the carrier of system development, ensuring that the running performance meets the application requirements under multi user parallel conditions. In the software design phase, based on multi-agent, a three-tier system architecture is constructed, and the resource allocation of each level is clarified. Each agent is refined from the perspective of structure and function, so that the information interaction between agents can be carried out independently, and its flexibility is improved. In the test, on the premise of 1400 concurrent requests, the corresponding CPU utilization and response time of the design system were 67.3% and 466.3 ms, respectively, which met the application requirements of the mathematics course network collaborative learning support system. © 2024, ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

this paper provides a thorough examination of an algorithm for automatically diagnosing avocado leaf diseases. the approach combines a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and a Support Vector Machine (SVM). the classification model's performance indicators show favorable results in all disease classes, including Healthy, Anthracnose, Avocado Root Rot, Avocado Sunblotch, and Bacterial Canker. the model exhibits remarkable accuracy, recall, and F1-score values, showing that it can reliably detect a variety of avocado leaf illnesses. By evaluating the support column, one may gain a better understanding of the dataset's composition. this column gives useful information regarding the distribution of incidence across various disease categories. Furthermore, the support proportion makes it easier to examine class frequencies in relation to the entire size of the dataset, providing valuable context for model evaluation. Given the model's outstanding accuracy, our findings highlight the promise of employing CNN-SVM fusion to improve disease diagnosis and management techniques in avocado production. Further research should look into approaches to improve model design and evaluation methodologies in order to successfully handle growing difficulties and increase the efficiency of automated disease detection systems in agricultural settings. © 2024 IEEE.
