Achieving high classification accuracy under a limited number of training samples remains a key challenge in hyperspectral image (HSI) classification. Relation network can effectively improve the performance of HSI classification under small samples conditions by learning and measuring the relationships between samples. However, relation network often cannot fully extract and utilize feature information from HSI. To improve feature extraction capability, we propose a multiscale convolutional relation network. this network includes a dual branch multiscale CNN aiming at comprehensively capturing features across various kernel sizes. And it incorporates a multihead attention fusion module for fusing multiscale features, thereby facilitating the learning of multilevel contextual semantic information. We also design a novel metric module for relation network, which improves ability to extract deep features and fully utilizes spatial information to establish relationships between feature maps and categories effectively. Experiments have shown that the proposed method can achieve more competitive results. © 2024 IEEE.

Recently, there has been a significant rise in research and development focused on deep learning (DL) models within healthcare. this trend arises from the availability of extensive medical imaging data and notable advances in graphics processing unit (GPU) computational capabilities. Trained DL models show promise in supporting clinicians with tasks like image segmentation and classification. However, advancement of these models into clinical validation remains limited due to two key factors. Firstly, DL models are trained on off-premises environments by DL experts using Unix-like operating systems (OS). these systems rely on multiple libraries and third-party components, demanding complex installations. Secondly, the absence of a user-friendly graphical interface for model outputs complicates validation by clinicians. Here, we introduce a conceptual computer-aided Detection (CAD) pipeline designed to address these two issues and enable non-AI experts, such as clinicians, to use trained DL models offline in Windows OS. the pipeline divides tasks between DL experts and clinicians, where experts handle model development, training, inference mechanisms, Grayscale Softcopy Presentation State (GSPS) objects creation, and containerization for deployment. the clinicians execute a simple script to install necessary software and dependencies. Hence, they can use a universal image viewer to analyze results generated by the models. this paper illustrates the pipeline's effectiveness through a case study on pulmonary embolism detection, showcasing successful deployment on a local workstation by an in-house radiologist. By simplifying model deployment and making it accessible to non-AI experts, this CAD pipeline bridges the gap between technical development and practical application, promising broader healthcare applications. © 2024, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In order to effectively solve the ecological problem of global desertification, and aimed at the inadequate existing desertification combating technologies, Solidworks modeling software was used to design a people-oriented, light weight, and portable linear sand-barrier paving machine. Besides, Altium designer software was used to draw the PCB board circuit diagram of corresponding functions to achieve a flow-line operating mode of the equipment from storing straw, to making furrows, then to feeding materials, and finally to pressing straw. Lastly, ANSYS software was used to make the finite-element analysis of key parts and components, and their feasibility was verified, with the final experimental results meeting paving requirements. the design of the cart proactively responds to the philosophy for protecting the ecological environment that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", a philosophy that is conducive to meeting the ever-growing needs of the people for a good life, and is of vitally practical significance for promoting regional economic coordination, sustainable development, and ecological conservation. © 2023 SPIE.

this article presents an analysis of the DC and RF/analog performance of junctionless gate-all-around nanosheet MOSFET (JL-GAA-NSFET), focusing on the evaluation of short channel effects (SCEs) and RF performance parameters. the findings of the study indicate that the JL-GAA-NSFET shows greater compatibility for low-power applications with smaller gate lengths as it demonstrates better endurance to the SCEs in comparison to the conventional inversion mode nanosheet MOS-FET (IM-GAA-NSFET). the JL-GAA-NSFET demonstrates a significant enhancement in several key performance metrics compared to the IM-GAA-NSFET. Specifically, it exhibits a 30% improvement in drain-induced barrier lowering (DIBL), a 13.5 % improvement in subthreshold swing (SS), a reduction of approximately 7 times in off-state current, an increase of approximately 6 times in the Ion/Ioff ratio, and a substantial decrease of 2×102 times in gate-induced drain leakage (GIDL) current. However, in terms of RF performance metrics, JL-GAA-NSFET shows comparatively low transconductance (gm) and cut-off frequency (ft). the JL-GAA-NSFET shows a peak gm value of 2.73×10-4 S, a ft value of 619 GHz, and a TGF value of 96.72 V-1, which are about 20%, 42.14% reduction, and a 24% increase, respectively, compared to the IM-GAA-NSFET. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, a reference tracking controller for an 8-compartment epidemic model is proposed. the dynamical model describing the disease spread and progression is given in nonlinear input-affine form. the manipulable input is the transmission rate, while the output to be tracked is the number of infected people. the model parameters correspond to the COVID-19 pandemic. the control design uses a simple SEIR model and it is based on feedback linearization combined with extended Kalman filter for state estimation. Simulation results show good tracking performance even with model mismatch and significant parameter uncertainty. © 2023 IEEE.

In the field of labor education, online learning resources can provide rich educational content and learning opportunities, helping learners acquire more knowledge and skills. However, due to the large and diverse number of learning resources on the internet, learners often face difficulties in choosing and information overload. To improve the retrieval speed and utilization rate of online learning resources in labor education, an adaptive integration algorithm for online learning resources in labor education is proposed. Firstly, under the constraints of the integration principle, set the triggering conditions for the integration of online learning resources and collect labor education online learning resources. then, Kalman filter technology is used to filter the initial network learning resources and extract the content features of network learning resources. Finally, the similarity and integration weight between online learning resources are calculated in an adaptive form to achieve adaptive integration of labor education online learning resources. According to the experimental results, compared with traditional integration algorithms, the optimized design algorithm reduces the loss and error rates by 0.12 GB and 7.35%, respectively. At the same time, the retrieval speed and utilization rate of learning resources are significantly improved. © ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering 2024.

the integration of online sports teaching resources can promote the integration of different disciplines and enhance students’ comprehensive qualities by integrating sports online teaching resources from different disciplines. Utilize association rule algorithms to mine all resources in the online sports teaching platform, and preprocess the mined resources through steps such as missing value filling, anomaly detection, and filtering. Extracting teaching resource features in two forms: text and image;Establish image labels, use LBP to extract the same labels, and randomly divide each type of image into training and testing sample sets. Using classification fusion, fuse sports online text data of the same type and calculate feature weights;Finally, based on the resource format, the integration results of physical education teaching resources in schools are obtained. From the experimental results, it can be seen that compared with the traditional integration method, the data loss of the resource integration result obtained by the optimal design method is reduced by 1.765 GB, and the redundancy is reduced by 0.32. the utilization rate of the integrated teaching resources in the actual teaching work has been significantly improved. © ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering 2024.

this paper discussed the construction of a patch antenna with an omnidirectional radiation pattern. A conventional patch antenna normally has a directional radiation pattern. However, in this paper, the patch antenna is designed so that it gives omnidirectional radiation pattern operating at 1 GHz frequency with half of the size of conventional patch antenna. the omnidirectional radiation pattern is desirable as it permits the antenna to receive or transmit signals for any arbitrary angle over a full plane. It is done by using air as a substrate for the patch antenna. the reduction in size of the patch antenna is due to the addition of two shorting pins. the construction of the patch antenna is conducted in Ansys High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) and all the related parameters are measured. then, the antenna is printed and the same parameters are measured in the laboratory. the simulation and measurement results are then compared. © 2023 IEEE.

the World Health Organization estimates that 287 million of the 9.2 billion people on the planet are blind. they still struggle to complete their daily tasks, so it is important to take the necessary steps with the help of new technology. It is intended to be able to read and read written text. Such inventions provide a solution to motivate visually impaired students to complete their education despite the difficulties. Its main goal is to develop new ways for blind people to read texts and facilitate their communication. the reader's first task is to scan text images, convert them to spoken text, and listen to the audio through headphones or speakers connected to the reader. Text in images was recognized using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology with OpenCV and Tesseract. Text-to-speech (TTS) technology was used to convert text to speech. However, the reader has some drawbacks, such as: Only English is supported, and the minimum font size to capture images is 16. In the future, it is possible to support multiple languages and improve the design. © 2023 IEEE.

this study aims to design an information system for searching for missing persons using a user-centered design (UCD) approach. this study used qualitative methods using interviews and quantitative methods by distributing the system usability scale (SUS) and post-study system usability questionnaire (PSSUQ) questionnaires. the respondents of this research consisted of official institutions, victims' families or relatives, volunteers, and experts in the field of interaction systems. the interviews were analyzed using the content analysis method, while the quantitative data were analyzed using the calculation method. the first iteration produced a low-fidelity prototype which was evaluated by interviews. the second iteration produced a high-fidelity prototype which was evaluated using usability testing (UT). the third iteration produced a high-fidelity prototype which was evaluated using SUS and PSSUQ. the SUS and PSSUQ values showed acceptable results. According to the authors' knowledge, there has been no research that proposes an information system for searching for missing persons in Indonesia with a comprehensive design process. © 2024 IEEE.
