Nowadays, botnets are the most advanced cybercrime as being powerful threaten to the internet infrastructure by risking the internet stability and security. Millions of computers have been hijacking and infecting by botnets especially during peak activity. the P2P botnets exploit users and dominating the P2P technology which make botnets are harder to detect and terminated. As P2P botnets issues been highlighted as it's dramatically evolvement, this paper addresses on current problems relate to P2P botnets faced by users and recommending the improvement. Also, this paper concentrated on proposing P2P botnets detection framework. Also, an in-depth analysis of P2P botnets has been conducted to understand and cope with their behaviors and characteristics. the new improvement has been introduced at the propose botnets framework architecture to improve the effectiveness of P2P detection analysis. the framework architecture has been structuralized with hybrid analyzer through the marriage of host-based and network based. Prior to this matter, this research has proposed a new enhancement on framework architecture that has been reinforced by hybrid detection technique to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of P2P botnets detection.

A wireless distributed monitoring terminal was designed with embedded Linux used on the basis of ARM board, and an application program was developed for data collection, processing and transmission. Data were collected from the surrounding environment and transmitted to a server via WLAN in the form of Extensible Markup Language (XML) stream, so the terminal had good flexibility to be compatible with different sensors, network devices and information systems from multiple manufacturers.

the communications development requires interaction between converging heterogeneous technology environment, with quality and continuity of services to remain competitive. the full implementation of the Future internet concept implies in the necessity to operate among heterogeneous technology platforms with continuity of QoS (Quality of Service), what leads to the necessity of an innovative business model to support it and new technical mechanisms of vertical handover to ensure the QoS continuity required and expected by final users but, mainly, perceived by them. An innovative business model that requires innovative QoS continuity mechanisms must consider technical and commercial interoperation among many telecommunication services providers, nationally and internationally based. this interaction demands clear rules to be followed by every player along the telecommunication services chain, i.e., it demands a set of regulation acts to guide them and allow their viability.

Spectrum sensing is one of the most important steps in cognitive radio. In this paper, a new fully-distributed collaborative energy detection algorithm based on diffusion cooperation scheme and consensus filtering theory is proposed, which doesn't need the center node to fuse the detection results of all users. the secondary users only exchange information with their neighbors to obtain the detection data, and then make the corresponding decisions independently according to the pre-defined threshold. Simulations show that the proposed algorithm is more superior to the existing centralized collaborative energy detection algorithm in terms of the detecting performance and robustness in the insecurity situation.

internet of things (IOT) technology increasingly affects backbone network development. Aiming to reduce or weaken such effects on backbone networks from a traffic perspective and attain no discount on functions in a CobraNet based digital broadcast system, an enhanced IOT gateway and its evaluation system are presented. Based on the prototype evaluation system, experiments demonstrate the IOT gateway not only inherits the conventional functions previously often carried out by a PC platform or a server, but also develops additional abilities to cut down traffic under some cases and provides portable management for the system at the same time. According to the experimental results, it is possible from a traffic perspective to design an enhanced IOT gateway to provide value added service such as file transfer, message function, etc. in addition to high quality audio service by taking advantage of the verified sub-linear information addition mechanism. Such enhanced gateway can be properly adapted to other kinds of applications according to the non-demanding system requirements of the prototype evaluation system and proposed IOTGW design.

Rate adaptation is an effective approach to achieve high spectrum efficiency under varying channel condition, especially for wireless communication. this paper proposes rate adaptation at receiver for wireless relay system. In this scheme, source node uses a new modulation technology, called random projections code (RPC), to achieve rate adaptation. Both relay node and destination node decode the received RPC encoding signals. If destination does not decode RPC correctly, relay node will act compressing and forwarding role by performing LDPC syndrome encoding and sending syndrome coded information to destination node. We discuss how to jointly decode at destination node when it receives RPC coded information from source node and syndrome coded information from relay node. Finally, we evaluate the scheme by bit-error-rate (BER) and good put evaluation metrics. Simulation results show that the coding gain is about 4 dB, 3.1 dB, 2.2 dB and 1.6 dB for LDPC coding rate 0.8, 0.89, 0.94, 0.99 at BER 10 -5 respectively. the throughput of the schemes is at least 0.3 bit/s/Hz higher than RPC at SNR ranging from 5 dB to 25 dB.

OODBMS is widely favored for mapping domains like CAD, with complex representation requirements. the transactions accessing OODBMS can be categorized into runtime transactions and design time transactions. Runtime transactions are meant for accessing data and design time transactions are meant for accessing schema. Parallel execution of transactions is supported to promote concurrency and throughput. In continuously evolving business domains, frequent schema changes are done to reflect the changes of business domain. then it implies that more number of design time transactions arrive parallely with runtime transactions. Concurrency control schemes are employed to maintain the consistency of the database. Several semantic multi-granular lock based concurrency control schemes have been proposed in the literature. they have the drawback of either poor performance or hid maintenance overhead when applied to continuously evolving domains. this paper proposes semantic lock-based concurrency control mechanism with better performance and nil maintenance overhead for continuously evolving OODBMS. It uses lock rippling to improve the performance.

this paper explores some a novel approaches to harnessing the internet-of-things (IoT) as a teaching and research vehicle in education. For teaching we argue that the internet-of-things provides a highly motivating topic to capture students' imaginations, and a perfect platform for teaching computer science. In addition, we explain the potential for entire campuses or buildings to be constructed from internet-of-things technologies and the potential for this infrastructure to act as a teaching platform. this proposition is perfectly captured by the axiom "the college building (or campus) is the lab". this philosophy is part of a wider movement that started in the EU, called Living Labs. In achieving these aims, our work seeks to combine a number of concepts;first we utilise the internet-of-things, second we incorporate Living Labs ideas, third we harness the iCampus vision, forth we use the 'Smart Box' concept and finally we implement the Pervasive-interactive-Programming (PiP) paradigm. We contend this approach can be used in various mixes to produce highly motivating and effective educational environments. We illustrate this work by describing the application of these ideas to a real-world venture, the Harlow UTC (in the UK). the main focus of this paper concerns the use of PiP, together with the internet-of-things, to teach elementary programming skills. In in support of this we present results of an evaluation of PiP with 18 participants (students and staff) of varied age and gender. the main conclusions of these evaluations were that PiP enabled students and staff, with diverse backgrounds, to quickly master the programming skills involved. the paper concludes by describing our future plans for this work.

Wireless local area network (WLAN) brings us a low cost and high bandwidth experience and thus plays a critically important role in current/future networks to support high-rate transmissions. To better provide quality-of-service (QoS) for WLAN users, we in this paper propose an improved scheme called "A-EDCA" (adaptive EDCA), based on enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) of IEEE 802.11e under the infrastructure mode. Our proposed scheme aims at efficiently adapting the transmission over WLAN to the time-varying network conditions and mitigating the competition ability unfairness between access point (AP) and non-AP stations (STAs). Specifically, all non-AP STAs adaptively modify the contention window based on the network condition. Moreover, AP skips the backoff phase by setting its backoff counter as zero when non-AP STA completes transmission successfully to relieve the unfairness. At last, simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
