Megascience experiments, such as CMS, ATLAS, ALICE, MPD, BM@N, etc., are served at the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies (MLIT) of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) using the available computing infrastructure. To ensure the guaranteed and stable operation of the infrastructure under constant load conditions, the centralized and timely maintenance of software and the rapid introduction of new compute nodes are required. As a solution to this task, a life cycle management service (LCMS) was created;its purpose is to automate the process related to the software maintenance and commissioning of new computing resources. the paper will give an overview of the service and its components. © 2021 CEUR-WS. this paper proposes an enhanced negation handling technique for sentiment analysis of Twitter data using the Naïve Bayes algorithm and Part-of-Speech (POS) tagging. Negation handling detects negated content in text and can thus improve sentiment prediction. the proposed technique focuses on the detection of direct negation words such as “not” and “no”, and implicitly negated content such as “could have been” and “should have been”. the paper compares the proposed negation handling technique with an existing negation handling technique. the Sentiment140 dataset is used in the experiments. Naïve Bayes with the proposed negation handling technique gave an accuracy of 77.57% while the accuracy of the Naïve Bayes with the existing negation handling was 76.93% and the accuracy of the standard Naïve Bayes was 76.12 % for a dataset of 1,000,000 tweets. Of these 1,000,000 tweets 197,381 contained one or more negations. Taking these negated tweets alone, the proposed technique showed an improvement over the existing technique and standard Naïve Bayes with accuracies respectively of 76.51%, 75.98%, and 75.09%. the improvements and shortcomings of the proposed technique are discussed.

In this paper, we propose a lightweight mutual authentication and inter-cloud redeemable payment protocol which allows IoT devices to subscribe with their home cloud service providers for roaming coverage. More precisely, such devices acquire authenticated payment tokens in order to benefit from the computation offloading services from edge nodes deployed by foreign cloud service providers. Hence, loT devices are continuously serviced even when outside of their home cloud providers coverage. the protocol makes use of tree of secrets, hash chains, and Merkle trees. It requires sharing a Merkle tree root and a 128-bit secret key for constructing the tree of secrets among cloud admins. Our protocol provides mutual authentication, confidentiality, and easy charge redemption from the home server. For N subscribed IoT devices, the storage at the hosting clouds is limited to 2 x (N-s(+1) 1) x 16 bytes and 32 x Log N bytes for the loT device, where N-s is the maximum number of devices served by the IoT gateway per payment redemption period.

Modern law enforcement faces significant challenges in managing and analyzing the exponential growth of crime data, which often includes unstructured, high-volume, and real-time information. Traditional relational database systems struggle to handle these complexities, limiting the ability of agencies to derive actionable insights for proactive measures. this research addresses these challenges by proposing a scalable distributed framework utilizing Hadoop and MapReduce for real-time crime data analysis. the objectives include enabling efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, implementing a robust star schema for structured data storage, and providing actionable insights through an integrated real-time dashboard. the methodology employs a multi-node Hadoop cluster for parallel processing, optimizing data integration and analysis capabilities. Results demonstrate significant improvements in processing speed, fault tolerance, and scalability, validated through the framework's application in Sri Lanka's crime data analysis. Findings reveal enhanced resource allocation, crime pattern identification, and operational efficiency for law enforcement. this research establishes a cost-effective, high-performance solution to modern criminological data challenges, with future potential for predictive analytics and machine learning integration.

With the expansion of the network scale, the amount of data in the communication network is also increasing. Data mining technology can effectively analyze the data generated in the network. As one of the important technologies of data mining, clustering is also widely used in the field of communication. However, the general clustering algorithm has numerical oscillation or large computational complexity. this paper proposes an improved AP clustering algorithm and proposes the concepts of filtering data transfer objects and dynamic damping coefficients. Experiment results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper can effectively improve efficiency and adapt well to communication network data. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Cultural computing is closely related to the of Digital Art Interactive Exhibition. Based on Cultural computing and by means of the dynamic display of digital art, culture can be recognized, inherited and innovated. this article explores the new concept of "Cinema Chain Mode of Digital Art Exhibition". Based on the development of Cultural computing, it is proposed that Digital Art Exhibitions will become a new distributed structure of Cinema Chain with networked, dynamic and chain development, and has a flat, Interactive, entertaining, commercial and other characteristics, through distributed data sharing, form a deeper cultural computing function. Super subjective space art intervention can open the exhibition's cinema development in the future. the cultural computing information spread of "Cinema Chain Mode of Digital Art Exhibition" needs to transform from the single "transmitters" and "recipients" in traditional exhibitions to "information spread stakeholders" in the context of information space. In this spread process It is necessary to strengthen the relevance of the theme and content, pay attention to the participation of stakeholders, improve the dissemination of information, and strengthen the infection of the venue and the influence of the exhibition. Based on cultural computing, the innovation model of "Cinema Chain Mode of Digital Art Exhibition" can be divided into four layers: cultural resource layer, information integration and processing layer, information media combination layer, and exhibition and communication space layer. In this paper, digital art exhibitions such as "TeamLab: the World of Water Partitions in Oil Tank" and "2020 HUELEAD Show" are taken as main research cases to analyze the artistic characteristics, cultural connotation and immersive experience of cultural computing behind them, so as to provide experience reference for relevant practice.

the HybriLIT heterogeneous computing platform is part of the Multifunctional Information and computing Complex of the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. An analysis of data on the use of the HybriLIT platform is carried out: special attention is paid to the study of information about the resources used when starting tasks by various users and the time of their implementation. the relevance of this study lies in the ability to predict the further workload of the platform based on the analysis obtained, which will enable the more rational and efficient use of not only the available computing resources, but also the resources of data storage systems. this paper presents models for predicting the usage of the HybriLIT resources based on data through analysis. Several machine learning methods are compared to choose a model that gives the best prediction accuracy. © 2021 CEUR-WS. All rights reserved.

With the relative popularity of cloud computing, a large number of services and applications have been deployed in cloud environments. However, the existing cloud technology architecture still has many problems. this paper summarizes the problems existing in the communication module in the development of cloud technology so far, such as the three major problems of complicated cloud’s architecture, homogeneous service, and pseudo-saturation of communication. Based on these problems, we give the corresponding solutions for our system under a distributed architecture container. this solution is implemented under autonomous and controllable conditions and can ensure the robustness and relative security of the system and ensure the smoothness of external communications. distributed computing today is in demand in batch data processing tasks, but current solutions that allow to use them in Python either are too specific, or do not guarantee full fault tolerance. As a part of the final qualification work, a high-level Python interface (hereinafter SBN-Python) was developed for the new C++ framework called Subordination, in which the last problem was solved. the interface was implemented as an extension of the Python interpreter to achieve low-level compatibility and adaptation of all functionality. the purpose of this work was to test the possibility of using the new interface on a real case of LLC «Gazpromneft - Digital Solution» and to demonstrate the its core principles. To achieve this goal the current solution was analysed, a new architecture using SBN-Python was thought out and implemented, and eventually, the resulting solution was deployed at the company's facilities. As a result of the work, it turned out that using SBN-Python on a real case also scales performance with the number of nodes in the cluster, gives the ability to process various scenarios of node failure in a limited time, as well as some architectural advantages in organizing calculations. In the future, it is planned to expand the boundaries of the new interface, implementing the possibility of building distributed web services on its basis. © 2021 CEUR-WS. All rights reserved.
