the "Fawkes" procedure is discussed as a method of protection against unauthorized use and recognition of facial images from social networks. As an example, the results of an experiment are given, confirming the fact of a low result of face image recognition within CNN, when the Fawkes procedure is applied with the parameter mode = "high". Based on a comparative analysis with the original images of faces, textural changes and graphical features of the structural destruction of images subjected to the Fawkes procedure are shown. In addition to this analysis, multilevel parametric estimates of these destructions are given and, on their basis, the reason for the impossibility of recognizing images of faces subjected to the Fawkes procedure, as well as their use in deep learning problems, is explained. the structural similarity index (ISSIM) and phase correlation of images are used as quantitative assessment tools. It is also noted that facial images subjected to the Fawkes procedure are well recognized outside of deep learning methods. For this purpose, models of two simple systems for recognizing face images subjected to the Fawkes procedure are proposed, and the results of the experiments performed are presented. It is argued that the use of simple face image recognition systems in a computer complex with CNN will make it possible to train such complexes and destroy the myth about the possibility of protecting face images. In conclusion, the question is posed as to whether it is possible to protect your face from recognition. © 2021 CEUR-WS. All rights reserved.

Integration of distributed energy resources (DERs) into distribution networks offer various benefits, including lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, loss reduction, and grid reliance reduction. However, as the number of distributed energy resources grow, existing distribution networks face a variety of operational and market concerns, including voltage limit breaches, line congestion, visibility issues with DERs, and intermittent energy balances. It is difficult to construct a centralized market that serves several areas to handle such local concerns due to a variety of barriers. So, this work proposes a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) energy trading platform for participants with the capability of active participation in the market, where they can manage their demand and generation and participate as a buyer or seller considering network losses and network fees. For energy transfer, physical network or grid is considered, hence power losses cannot be ignored and grid-related costs are always present in the Peer-to-Peer trading. Grid-related cost consists of the network utilization fees, that is calculated using an electrical distance approach.

the development of power systems has called higher requirements for sensor information platforms, and sensor information platforms have become one key supporting technology for efficient and stable operation of power grids. this article first analyzes the current IoT reference architecture and the development trend of IoT platforms. then, a distributed sustainable integrated architecture sensor information platform is proposed to cater to the sensor requirements of the current power grid. Specifically, for the architecture, the distributed design and continuous integration design of the platform are introduced in detail. Finally, based on the designed architecture in this article, the practical work carried out by the information platform is introduced. this platform can be used for partial discharge detection of power equipment, providing edge intelligent computing support for the detection and analysis of radio frequency pulse signals. © 2020 IEEE.

the development of Internet of vehicle (IOV) and autopilot technology indicates the coming of smart traffic and automatic unmanned era. the promotion of networking and intelligence not only provides a rich source for urban traffic data, but also provides an efficient and direct way to solve urban traffic problems. With the help of deep learning and reinforcement learning technology, we propose a model to mine the urban traffic rule from the travel history of urban travelers, and utilize it achieving better allocation of traffic resources by providing a traffic guidance service, finally realize the system optimal traffic travel. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

the User-PC computing system (UPC) has been devised to provide a very low-cost distributed computing platform to members of a group, using idling resources of their personal computers (PCs). Based on the master-worker model, the master PC accepts jobs from users and assigns them to available worker PCs. Unfortunately, an efficient job assignment method has not been implemented yet. In this paper, we propose a static job scheduling algorithm considering the CPU core utilization, for the UPC system. Given a set of independent jobs, this two-stage heuristic algorithm finds an assigned worker for each job in order to minimize the makespan. To efficiently utilize CPU cores in worker PCs, the first stage groups workers and jobs into several classes according to the number of available cores or threads. It then greedily sets up job-worker assignments in each class independently. the second stage improves the assignments with a local search method by randomly moving job-worker assignments between different classes. For evaluation, we conducted experiments using six worker PCs and up to 27 jobs. Our algorithm could reduce the makespan by up to 60% compared to three baseline scheduling algorithms. However, its performance gradually decreases as the number of jobs significantly increases.

the article discusses the main provisions (methods, risk models, calculation algorithms, etc.) of the issue of organizing the protection of personal data (PD), based on the application of anonymization procedure. the authors reveal the relevance of the studied problem based on the tendency of the general growth of informatization and the further development of the Big Data technology. this circumstance leads to the need to use the so-called risk approach based on calculating the risk of PD as a probabilistic assessment of the amount of possible damage that the owner of the data resource may incur as a result of a successfully carried out information attack. For this purpose, the article describes an algorithm for calculating the risk of PD and proposes a risk model of the depersonalization procedure, which considers confidentiality problems arising both as a result of unauthorized access and as a consequence of planned data processing. To describe the risk model of the anonymization procedure, the types of attacks on the confidentiality of personal data, anonymization metrics and equivalence classes are analyzed, as well as the attacker's profiles and data distribution scenarios. thus, the choice of a risk model for the depersonalization procedure was justified, and calculations for the generated synthetic set of PDs were presented. As a conclusion, it should be noted that the model of anonymization risk assessment proposed and tested on synthetic data makes it possible to abandon the concept of guaranteed anonymized data, introducing certain boundaries for working with risks and building a continuous process for assessing PD threats, taking into account the constantly growing volume of stored and processed information. © 2021 CEUR-WS. As education is the only way to turn a person into human resource, every country tries to give her citizens proper scope of bringing out their inner ability by offering the appropriate education. According to the education system of Bangladesh, an 8th grade completing student has to choose a group (science, Business Studies, humanity) for further studies. this group will be his/her initial highway for higher education. But it is a matter of sorrow that, in Bangladesh this crucial event is done by some rumors and some traditional old school ways, which are mostly wrong and destructive. From the perspective of this country, the only way of choosing those groups is previous result. Of course, result is one of the most important attribute, but it should not be the only thing. Again in this country, Science is thought to be superior than other groups. that's why, parents have the tendency to impose this group to their children without knowing their ability and interest and leads them towards an uncertain future. therefore, the aim of this paper is to build a model of group selection by analyzing some random attributes of higher level students who have already gone through this event of selecting groups with the help of data mining and some machine learning algorithms, so that a newly 9th grade student could have the proper direction of selecting a group which is best for him/her. For the purpose of experimentation we have used three machine learning algorithms: Naïve Bayes, Sequential Minimal Optimization (SMO) and Random Forest. Among these algorithms Random forest gives the best prediction result with an accuracy of 84.9%. © 2020 IEEE.
