Existing studies on attack sequence optimization in inter-domain routing networks mainly assume static network models whose parameters and links remain static after initialization. this setting greatly simplifies the optimization since the attacked links will remain dead. However, due to the self-regulation capability possessed by the network, the change of state of the network after an attack does not always converge, and the attack will have different consequences at different moments and in different network states. Solutions based on static network models do not capture the impact of the attack moment on the network. To fill in the gap, we construct a practical dynamic network model with session state transition and recovery mechanisms to simulate real networking conditions. We prove that the attack timing optimization under this dynamic model is an NP-hard problem, and propose a Deep Q-Network (DQN) based attack timing scheduling solution to maximize the network failure effect. We realize the proposed network model and the solution via simulations and compare it with the state-of-the-art genetic solutions on the CAIDA dataset. Empirical results have not only confirmed the superiority of our DQN-based solution but also revealed features of the proposed dynamic network model like attack resilience and network robustness missing in traditional static models. © 2023 IEEE.

this article is threefold: (i) we define the first formal framework able to model dendritic integration within biological neurons, (ii) we show how we can turn continuous time into discrete time consistently and (iii) we show how a Lustre model checker can automatically perform proofs about neuron input/output behaviours owing to our framework. Our innovative formal framework is a carefully defined trade-off between abstraction and biological relevance in order to facilitate proofs. this framework is hybrid: inputs entering the synapses as well as the soma output are discrete signals made of spikes but, inside the dendrites, we combine signals quantitatively using real numbers. the soma potential is inevitably specified as a differential equation to keep a biologically accurate modelling of signal accumulation. this prevents from performing simple formal proofs. this has been our motivation to discretize time. Owing to this discretization, we are able to encode our neuron models in Lustre. Lustre is a particularly well suited flow-based language for our purpose. We also encode in Lustre a property of input/output equivalence between neurons in such a way that the model checker Kind2 is able to automatically handle the proof. With the arrival of the big data age, and users can't effectively find information that matches their interest in the vast quantities of data. the common personalized news recommendation system is based on the user - based collaborative filtering algorithm. However, the content coverage recommended by this keyword based recommendation is narrow and cannot meet users' requirements for the diversity of recommendation systems. For textual data like news, it contains semantic attributes. therefore, this paper proposes a LDA-LR personalized news recommendation method, which uses the LDA theme model to train the theme distribution of each news, then calculates the user similarity based on the topic, and then combines the LR logistic regression model to filter, and obtains the final news recommendation list. © 2018 IEEE.

Natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and landslides pose significant threats to humanity. While it is impossible to prevent these disasters entirely, careful planning and the implementation of emergency measures, including effective alert systems, can help mitigate their consequences. Recent advancements in communication technology have paved the way for innovative monitoring systems that are designed to enhance disaster preparedness and response. this new monitoring system focuses on the real-time tracking of critical parameters, including water levels, earth vibrations, and room temperatures, through the use of sensors. these sensors are programmed to generate alert signals when the measured values surpass predefined threshold values, which are set to trigger warnings at levels indicative of potential disaster risks. the alerts generated by the system are transmitted in the form of text messages and Android application notifications. these alerts are promptly sent to relevant authorities through their mobile phones, ensuring that they are informed of the developing emergency situation in a timely manner. Additionally, the system incorporates a public address (PA) system to broadcast warning messages to local residents residing near the affected area. this broader alert mechanism ensures that not only authorities but also the general public are aware of potential dangers and can take necessary precautions. In conclusion, the integration of advanced communication technologies and sensor-based monitoring systems has paved the way for more effective disaster preparedness and response strategies. © 2023 IEEE.

In this age of swift technological progress, Most educational establishments seek novel approaches that may further boost productivity. One such challenge has been the manual attendance tracking system in colleges. this research paper presents the development and implementation of an automated college attendance system powered by deep learning-based text extraction models. the primary objective of this system is to remove the labor-intensive process of taking attendance, improve accuracy, and provide valuable insights into student attendance patterns. the research begins by utilizing state-of-the-art deep learning techniques to extract roll numbers from images of attendance sheets. A Convolutional neural network is utilized for situating and identifying text within images. the system then processes this data and marks students as present or absent based on predefined criteria. the findings demonstrate that the automated attendance system, with its high degree of precision, makes a major dent in the time and energy formerly needed for keeping attendance logs, streamlining the whole process significantly. Furthermore, by enabling the ongoing monitoring and analysis of data in real time, educators and administrators are empowered to make evidence-informed decisions about student attendance through insights continuously gained from observant assessment and evaluation. © 2024 IEEE.

Starting from December 2019, COVID-19 has claimed several thousand lives all around the world. though the novel Corona virus (SARS-CoV-2) has emerged from China, it has affected most of the western countries like European Union and America. Italy is one of the most affected countries accounting for 16523 deaths until 7th April 2020. this study involves machine learning based approach to analyse the effectiveness of lockdown in containing the COVID-19 problem. It is assumed that, the lockdown was implemented 9 previous dates and total affected cases were predicted accordingly. Also, total deaths were predicted for these conditions. From the results, it is evident that the rate of increase of total cases remained 1.128 on an average during 21 days lockdown starting from 9th March 2020. Furthermore, the rate decreased after the lockdown period. the model also predicted that a 9 days prior lockdown would have reduced the total deaths from 16523 to 2239. During a pandemics, like COVID-19 the essential action taken by any government should be a strict lockdown as early as possible. Also, the public should maintain proper social distancing to avoid community spread of a pandemic disease which is highly contagious like COVID-19. © 2022 IEEE.

Wind speed prediction has garnered significant attention from the wind power industry due to its wide application in wind power generation. To enhance the accuracy of wind speed prediction, this paper utilizes the visibility graph to map the time series of wind speed and obtain an adjacency matrix with weighted values. the adjacency matrix is trained by incorporating a graph attention neural network to derive a similarity matrix between nodes. the predicted values obtained through both the adjacency prediction method and neural network fitting are weightedly summed for prediction purposes. Compared to other models, this method exhibits smaller error values and enables more accurate wind speed prediction. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to solve the problem of large restriction in traditional task execution, we designed an interactive task parsing method based on large language model, aiming to provide an interactive more flexible and reliable task parsing method suitable for mobile robots.
