this paper presents how collaborative learning can facilitate academic training in robotics design and development, with the objective of establishing a foundation in robotics structure design and microcontroller programming for controlling robots, particularly for bilateral undergraduate students. the students comprise 20 engineering students and 20 architecture students, who are divided into groups of two, consisting of an engineering students and an architecture students each. Group activities focusing on robot structure design and robot Development are provided for the students. the results demonstrate that collaborative learning can effectively facilitate the training activities.

In our previous paper, we emphasized the importance for organizers of RSA key pair generators to carefully consider multiple factors. this is due to the identification of specific risks associated with potential attacks, where effective and efficient RSA factorization plays a crucial role as mentioned [16]–[19]. the complexity of RSA (n) factorization depends on both the algorithm employed and the tools utilized for swift and accurate calculations [10]–[12]. these tools include the prime database method, which attempts factorization based on available prime experiments, and another method involving quadratic equations involving the Pythagorean [24], [25], as well as Euler Totient, capable of performing calculations for RSA factorization [13]–[15]. In our research, we introduce an alternative method for factoring RSA n through the mathematical formula to obtain Euler Totient values $\phi(n)\ \equiv \mathrm{t}$ . these values are then utilized in the factorization process by gt mod n using the linear programming method g = g + 1. Subsequently, we assess the success rate of this methodology with the hope of identifying the latest results and exploring new opportunities for further research.

Mixed Integer Linear programming (MILP) technology is a versatile method used for formulating and solving combinatorial optimization problems. During the solving process, primal heuristics help to quickly find good feasible solutions, which can aid branch-and-bound (B&B) algorithms in reducing the primal-dual gap and pruning the B&B search tree. the heuristics employed by existing open-source solvers follow empirical rules summarized from real-world instances, enabling the solvers to achieve generally good performance but sometimes performing poorly on specific instances. In response, this paper proposes a method that uses hierarchical sequence models to learn the patterns of given instances and assigns a heuristic configuration for them. Compared to the default settings of the solver, the proposed method enables heuristic module to perform better, finding feasible solutions more quickly and reducing the primal-dual gap. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method can improve the solver's average performance on given instances by 27%.

this study explores the dispatch of a system comprising a Pumped Hydro Energy Storage with a ternary machine set and a Battery Energy Storage. the coordinated operation of both storage systems aims to optimize the use of their capacities efficiently. the coordinated system actively participates in day-ahead and intraday markets, as well as ancillary service markets. Utilizing Mixed-Integer Linear programming models for both storage systems, a simulation study is conducted. the models encompass relevant parameters, variables, and an objective function to generate an optimized dispatch strategy for each storage system, focusing on participating in the spot market and providing ancillary services. Additionally, German electricity market regulations are considered in the models. Simulation results demonstrate that coordinated operation leads to significantly higher renenues of 6.23% compared to uncoordinated system, primarily attributed to increased earnings from providing ancillary services. the coordination enhances overall system flexibility and results in an increase in operating hours for ancillary service provision.

Distributed energy resources (DER) are among important components or additional supplies to an existing power system network. Its installation in an existing power system network will help improve the voltage level in a system, reduce current values through the transmission lines and reduce the total transmission loss. the sizing and locations for the installation of DER or distributed generation (DG) require optimal values. Otherwise, the system will experience either over-compensation or under-compensation phenomena. thus, a reliable optimization technique is a crucial factor. Several optimization techniques are not reliable enough as they cannot reach optimal solutions and sometimes, they are not accurate. this paper presents a new optimization technique termed Integrated Grasshopper Evolutionary programming Technique (IGEPT). IGEPT integrates some operators in the grasshopper optimization into the original evolutionary programming (EP). It was validated on the IEEE 30-Bus Reliability Test System (RTS) for voltage maximization effort as the objective function. Several cases were taken into account so as to highlight the robustness of this technique. A comparative study with other techniques is also conducted, which highlights the merit of IGEPT. © 2022 IEEE.

the tariffs of regulated public services under price cap regulation are variables defined in the tariff review process, subject to a major technical complexity and many restrictions. Given the complex scenario that involves the tariffs definition, the present paper seeks to verify the effectiveness of the implementation of a Linear programming model to support decision-making in optimal tariffs definition. the Solver add-in of Microsoft Excel software was used to generate the optimal solution for the proposed model. the results indicated that the proposed model generated a reasonable result, incorporating the various restrictions for modeling and ensuring details at a sufficient level for modeling adjustments throughout the process, if necessary. © 2022 the Authors. this paper proposes an energy storage configuration method in new energy stations to promote the consumption of new energy. At first, the cost model included three sub-modules of energy storage systems is constructed based on the characteristics of energy storage. then, taking the intermittency and uncertainty of new energy output into account, as well as the constraints of each energy source in the power generation process, an objective function is established with the goal of minimizing the comprehensive cost of energy storage. the improved cat swarm optimization algorithm (ICSOA) is utilized to solve the proposed model and determine the optimal energy storage configuration for new energy stations. Finally, the feasibility and correctness of the proposed model are verified through some case studies.
