High performance electromagnetic transient simulations play an indispensable role in the field of modern electronic design and research and development, providing engineers with the ability to predict and optimize product performance during the design phase, significantly reducing the number of iterations required in the actual manufacturing and testing process, and effectively reducing the cost and time of research and development. these software not only have a critical impact on improving the efficiency and performance of product design but also play a crucial role in promoting technological innovation and achieving autonomous control of the industry. Restricted by modelling and simulation capabilities, computational efficiency, scalability and other aspects, traditional electromagnetic transient simulation tools are difficult to adapt to the needs of new power systems. In this paper, we design a power modelling and simulation software for a new type of power system. the software supports a variety of numerical integration methods, adapts to the characteristics of new power systems, effectively eliminates the problem of numerical oscillation, and can construct multiple control system models with the same structure but different parameters. this paper takes the Tianzhong DC project as an example, builds a simulation model in the SimuNPS environment, and verifies the rationality and superiority of the simulation platform by comparing it with the traditional electromagnetic transient simulation software.

the paper deals with the issue of autonomous navigation for the movement of a robot in a tube. the solution is to determine the center of a given conic section using three operations in the Geometric Algebra for Conic Sections (GAC). the article describes an engine that renders given conic sections through basic operations in the GAC. At the end of the work, an algorithm is described that calculates the axis of the tube based on the points that are located in the space from the image, where we place the center of the ellipse obtained by the image filter and fitting algorithm.

Defence against drones and UAS (C-UAS) is rapidly evolving. Every year, there are tens of new C-UAS solutions based on different detection or elimination methods. To effectively test new concepts for using the Counter-UAS systems, researchers need to follow baseline guidance rules for modelling and simulation of such systems. At certain point, they also need to test and simulate tactical procedures and basic command and control processes like identification, fire distribution, and others. this paper brings guidelines and aspects of C-UAS modelling and simulation based on ongoing research at University of Defence, Czechia.

A three-phase full-wave high-power uncontrolled rectifier of a power substation of electric trolleybus transport system has been modelled and simulated in the programming environment of MATLAB/Simulink. the obtained simulation results are analysed and they confirmed the mathematical descriptions of the electrical processes and semiconductor device principles. the shapes of the currents and voltages are analysed and solution guidelines are given to reduce the non-sinusoidal distortions of the currents. the developed model can find application in the modelling and studying of the operating and emergency modes of rectifiers as electronic converters of the industrial, renewable energy systems, etc.

the development of autonomous vehicles and their introduction in urban traffic offer many opportunities for traffic improvements. In this paper, an approach for a future traffic control system for mixed autonomy traffic environments is presented. Furthermore, a simulation framework based on the city of Paderborn is introduced to enable the development and examination of such a system. this encompasses multiple elements including the road network itself, traffic lights, sensors as well as methods to analyse the topology of the network. Furthermore, a procedure for traffic demand generation and routing is presented based on statistical data of the city and traffic data obtained by measurements. the resulting model can receive and apply the generated control inputs and in turn generates simulated sensor data for the control system based on the current system state.

Infrastructure elements would be crucial in enabling autonomous mobility at scale to provide centrally shared insights and possibly planning and control. Infrastructure mounted multi-sensor perception systems observe traffic and generate data in object list format which typically consists of timestamped vehicle trajectories and metadata about the vehicles, ie, their type, dimensions, etc. Such data is huge in volume and its analysis is difficult due to the spatiotemporal sequential nature of the data. In this work, we present framework and algorithms to semantically model and analyze this data in the context of map geometry to gain statistics and insights at an actionable level of abstraction. We start with algorithms to process common 2D-HDmap formats to extract map features - roads, lanes, junctions, etc. We then present meaningful traffic KPIs and statistics that describe traffic patterns. We finally describe methods to abstract the traffic patterns and driving behaviors into parametrized functions for various applications.
