Using the cloud technology with Smart Protect Network (SPN) to do file virus scanning. the overwhelming increase of population will lead to an increase network traffic usage. In most products, local cache mechanism is implemented for the purpose of reducing the network traffics. However, the database designed to store cache is limited, lot of times, cache will get purged when there are lots of queries sent and replaced by other newest queries. It is not an efficient by using traditional methodology to build or forming cache. In order to reduce the network traffic usage, the paper propose a solution, which utilize data mining technique with clustering concept, by gathering the current feedback data we have from our SPN, we are able to form these data in groups with similarity, and by deploying these data to client side, to achieve the reduction of traffic usage. In prototyping, this design for military communications can really reduce network traffic more than 20%. And the speed of file scanning time can faster more than 12%.

Automatic result verification is an important tool to reduce the impact of floating-point errors in numerical computation and to guarantee the mathematical rigor of results. One fundamental problem in Verified Computing is to find an enclosure that surely contains the exact result of a linear system. Many works have been developed to optimize Verified Computing algorithms using parallel programming techniques and message passing paradigm on clusters of computers. However, the High Performance Computing scenario changed considerably with the emergence of nmlticore architectures in the past few years. this paper presents an ongoing research project which has the purpose of developing a self-verified solver for dense interval linear systems optimized for parallel execution on these new architectures. the current version has obtained up to 85% of reduction at execution time and a speedup of 6.70 when solving a 15,000 x 15,000 interval linear system on an eight core computer.

this study is based on RFID technology to detect the locations of medical care personnel and patient who move around indoors; meanwhile, wearable and mobile physiological signal detection suite technique is associated to monitor the physiological status of the patient at any time. through the positioning message of RFID, the computer system can assign medical care personnel that is nearest to the patient at emergency accident to perform medical care. Furthermore, through the use of wireless mobile device, it can be ensure that medical care personnel can obtain any emergency message of the patient at any time. through integration of three techniques such as RFID technique, physiological signal detection suite technique and wireless mobile device, a set of emergency medical care system structure is designed in this study. Meanwhile, based on this system structure, a prototype system is developed to verify the feasibility of this system structure. through the emergency medical care system developed in this study, no matter when and where emergency accident occurs, medical care personnel can reach the patient at the emergency accident site in the shortest time to reduce the possibility of delayed medical care.

Heterogeneous multiprocessor platforms are becoming widespread in the embedded system domain, mainly for the opportunity to improve timing performance and to minimize energy/power consumption and costs. therefore, when using such platforms, it is important to adopt a Design Space Exploration (DSE) strategy that considers compromises among different objectives. Existing DSE approaches are generally based on evolutionary algorithms to solve Multi-Objective Optimization Problems (MOOPs) by minimizing a linear combination of weighted cost functions (i.e., Weighted Sum Method, WSM). In this way, the main issues are related to reduce timing execution while trying to improve the evolutionary algorithm performance, introducing strategies that attempt to bring better solutions. Code parallelization is one of the most used approaches in this field, but no standard methods have been released since different aspects could affect the performance. this approach leads to exploit parallel and distributed processing elements in order to implement evolutionary algorithms. In the latter case, if we consider genetic algorithms, it is possible to talk about parallel Genetic algorithms (PGA). Considering this context, this paper focuses on DSE for heterogeneous multi-processor embedded systems and introduces an improvement that reduces execution time using parallel programming languages (i.e., OpenMP) inside the main genetic algorithm approach, while trying to lead to better partitioning solutions. the descriptions of the adopted DSE activities and the OpenMP implementation, validated by means of a case study, represent the core of the paper. © 2020 Association for Computing Machinery.
