In this paper we present our work on the engine for integration of environmental data We present a suite of selected environmental scenarios, which are integrated into a novel data mining and integration environment being developed in the project ADMIRE the scenarios have been chosen for their suitability for data mining by environmental experts they deal with meteorological and hydrological problems, and apply the chosen solutions to pilot areas within Slovakia the main challenge is that the environmental data required by scenarios are maintained and provided by different organizations and are often in different formats. We present our approach to the specification and execution of data integration tasks, which deals withthe distributed nature and heterogeneity of required data resources.

It is difficult to implement distributed rendering on wide area network (WAN) because of limited-bandwidth and the asymmetric, heterogeneous resources. this paper presents a scalable architecture of asymmetric distributed animation rendering system based on WAN. Regarding the characteristics of WAN, two kinds of rendering group is proposed: cluster rendering group and unorganized PC rendering group. We also discuss key technologies, to provide a means of distributed rendering remotely at low cost.

this paper presents the framework of cyberinfrastructure and the state of the art in this area of research, as well as a preliminary analysis of a our university network capabilities for remote visualization and high performance computing. References are made to the cyber-tools and methods, such as high-performance computing, communication technologies, and simulation models, enabling progress in cyberinfrastructure development. the goal of cyberinfrastructure is to unite various distributed-knowledge communities in an integrated collaboration environment that will provide broad access to multiple scientific resources. Here, we present the main requirements for cyberinfrastructure development and the key components of a working cyberinfrastructure. A case study of the minimal requirements for a fluent video stream in a local communication network is discussed and the main data traffic characteristics are presented. In addition, an analysis regarding high performance computing capabilities of one of our local computer clusters is presented.
