Electric Vehicles (EVs) uses rechargeable battery packs to store electrical energy, necessitating periodic recharging for continued operation. the efficiency and speed of EV battery charging are crucial factors in their practicality for daily use. Charging methods vary, from slow household outlet charging to rapid charging at public stations. Technological advancements have spurred the development of sophisticated charging systems, aiming to enhance efficiency, shorten charging durations, and extend battery lifespan. this paper proposes an interleaved high-frequency inverter-based isolated EV charger. It entails designing a single-phase high-frequency inverter utilizing Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control circuitry, which simplifies the generation of sinusoidal pulses for transistor switches. A synchronous rectifier designed for renewable energy applications, together with a power factor correction (PFC) Single Ended Primary Inductor Converter (SEPIC), are included in the implementation. this control strategy significantly broadens the adjustable output voltage range while ensuring smooth voltage delivery. An isolation transformer adds a layer of protection through electrical separation, while the interleaved parallel topology-based synchronous rectifier minimizes high-frequency rectification losses. Additionally, a capacitive filter reduces ripple voltage in the output. Performance analysis of this technique is conducted in the MATLAB/Simulink environment, providing insights into its effectiveness and feasibility. the proposed converter shows an efficiency of 93.47% and voltage gain of 1:9.
