The objective of this study is creating the vegetable product forecasting system that use adaptive genetic algorithm as a method to find out a parameter set for objective function to predict vegetable product weight in the future. The system is installed in a personal computer (Intel Pentium 4 and main memory 512 MHz.) that is implemented with Borland Delphi 6 and MS Access 2000. The system is tested by 5 types of vegetable, an error of an experimental result with tested data isn't more than 10 percent with 0.05 level of significance, this is clear that the system can be applied to forecast the actual vegetable data.

This paper analyzes memory access scheduling and virtual channels as mechanisms to reduce the latency of main memory accesses by the CPU and peripherals in web servers. Despite the address filtering effects of the CPU's cache hierarchy, there is significant locality and batik parallelism in the DRAM access stream of a web server which includes traffic from the operating system, application, and peripherals. However a sequential memory controller leaves much of this locality and parallelism unexploited, as serialization and batik conflicts affect the realizable latency. Aggressive scheduling within the memory controller to exploit the available parallelism and locality can reduce the average read latency of the SDRAM. However, bank conflicts and the limited ability of the SDRAM's internal row buffers to act as a cache hinder further latency reduction. Virtual channel SDRAM overcomes these limitations by providing a set of channel buffers that can hold segments from rows of any internal SDRAM batik. This paper presents memory controller policies that can make effective use of these channel buffers to further reduce the average read latency of the SDRAM.

We present algorithms for detection of oil spills in Radarsat and ENVISAT SAR images. The algorithms are trained on 60-100 images from each sensor from European water (mainly the North Sea and the Baltic Sea). Results show that they perform very well when applied to benchmark data sets, but in some cases additional information is needed to discriminate between oil slicks and algae, particularly in the Baltic Sea.

RAFTING focuses on the resources used by features, rather than the features themselves. Therefore, for this paper's purposes, resource contention will be considered the main cause for feature interaction. We illustrate how a resource-based approach simplifies the detection of feature interactions, particularly when a limited amount of information is known about the individual components being dynamically added to the system.

This paper describes a fast, economic but realistic method for modeling virtual colony. The system has two major components: photographs based human model reconstruction and anthropometry based automatic human model edit, both of them were advanced to achieve more practical and realistic purpose. Distributed simulation cloning technology is designed to analyze alternative scenarios of a distributed simulation concurrently within the same simulation execution session. One important goal of the technology is to optimize execution by avoiding repeated computation amongst independent scenarios. Our research is concerned with the cloning of High Level Architecture (HLA) based distributed simulations. A decoupled federate architecture is designed to support correct federate cloning at runtime. A federate may spawn clones to explore different scenarios at a decision point. To address the complexity of the overall cloning-enabled distributed simulation due to increasing scenario spawning, we have devised an efficient and precise scheme to identify and partition scenarios. It is desirable to use an incremental cloning mechanism to replicate only those federates whose states will be affected while the rest remain intact and are shared amongst the original and new scenarios. Our incremental cloning mechanism ensures accurate sharing and initiates cloning only when strictly necessary.

Among the advantages that are expected from developing computers with affective capabilities is detecting stress conditions of humans involved in system control to activate suitable recovery procedures. Aim of the paper is to propose a prototypical distributed system consisting of two cooperating electronic boards, each provided with the fuzzy processor ST52F13 by ST Microelectronics, to demonstrate that affective computing may be applied at excellent performances and low costs in all the cases where human behavior has to be monitored to verify that humans are accomplishing a task involving the use of PCs with the needed attention and time-reactions.

Considering dynamic, heterogeneous and autonomous characteristics of computing resources in grid computing systems and the flexibility and effectivity of economics methods applied to solve the problem of resource management, a double auction mechanism for resource allocation on grid computing systems is presented. Firstly, a market model of double auction is described, in which agents are utilized to represent the computational resource traders in the grid environment and are equipped with the reinforcement learning. algorithm. Secondly, a double auction mechanism is presented, where the uniform-price auction is adopted aiming at CPU resources, and the transaction fee can be adjusted flexibly. Finally, the efficiency of the presented double auction mechanism is analyzed through experiments, and experimental results show that the presented mechanism is efficient, and the transaction price varies mildly.

In this paper, the designing of ADC is Studied by means of soft computing. It is Shown When fuzzy system has single input it can be multiplied in the premise rules by introducing proper fuzzy words and linguistic operator for amplifying,knowledge base. Instinctive and learning behaviors, knowledge base and topology of circuit are found using fuzzy voronoi diagram in a POE model based program. This converter implements a set of processes during the analog to digital converting. It can be a fast ADC with more proper structure for hybrid neural network because its parameters are applied in training algorithms.
