The mathematical model is the use of mathematical language to describe the behavior of a system. Mathematical models are used in particularly in the sciences such as biology, electrical engineering, physics and so on. The sonar array target simulator is a kind of digital simulation system, which provides the simulated signal received by sonar array in an appointed interface. This paper introduces system's mathematical model. Based on the study of the function and structure of the complex array, this paper introduces the theoretical model and mixed model of the echo signal received by the sonar array. Analyze and compare the two models, we can get a conclusion: The mixed model is suited to the complex array

The development of flight control systems using classical control techniques is a costly and time-consuming process. This paper shows how to use genetic algorithm (GA) and modern control techniques to determine the control parameters of the flight control law within the classical structure. An example of designing longitudinal flight control law with the proposed method is presented. The designed flight control law be simulated on a 6 degree-of-freedom nonlinear model of the aircraft

The paper presents the results of the research performed by the authors on systems control and optimization for the operating process of the cowpers from the ISPAT-SIDEX steel plant. This system was developed on two relevant levels interconnected in a hierarchical control structure. The acquisition and control level was designed using specialized microcontrollers. The supervisor level for the optimization of the combustion process was implemented on an operator console. The solution of the optimization problem represents the optimal decision, translated in realtime procedure to the acquisition and level control

Multiwavelet transform has important traits in image processing such as symmetric, orthogonal, smoothness, and short support. Theoretically speaking, multiwavelet should be a more satisfying tool for image coding. In this paper, we made deep research in the application of multiwavelets in scalable coding and proposed a new transmission-oriented image coding method, that is Fine Granularity scalable coding method based on CL multiwavelet transform. The experimental results show that the proposed coding method is effective. It is a valuable work on the application of multiwavelet transform in image coding.

In order to solve the collaboration control problem in three manipulators of automatic crystal angle sort equipment, the structure of coordinating multiple agents is designed to meet the special requirements of the application. Manipulators are link by a control network, multi-agent theory is exploited to solve the problems of collaboration control and movement coupling in manipulators and the blackboard structure is used for share of state data of manipulator's dynamic targets. As a result, agents can accomplish the own task at same time but different rooms. The manipulators based on the above design can improve labor's working conditions, increase producing efficiency, improve measure precision in the angle between crystal slice and crystal lattice, and sort exactly.

This paper deals with a 2-unit system with a multivariate diagnostic parameter, which is a random vector. One of the units has two modes (normal and failure) and the other has three modes (normal, abnormal and failure). When the system is working, it is inspected once every time u to make sure whether the 3-mode unit is normal or abnormal until the system fails, or until the result of the inspection shows that the unit is abnormal. The inspection is based on the multivariate diagnostic parameter and can bring about wrong conclusions. The optimal critical value of the parameter and the optimal inspection cycle of the system are obtained by using probability analysis, the supplementary variable technique and an optimization method

Currently in almost simulation systems applying environment models, data quality of natural environment is not sufficiently evaluated. In order to address this problem, the process and method of data quality evaluation are proposed for Natural Environment Conceptual Model (NECM). Firstly, a process of 4 steps is presented to evaluate data quality of NECM. Secondly, indexes and factors of data quality evaluation are given according to the characteristics of NECM. Thirdly, in order to meet the requirement of this data evaluation, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method is improved and then applied to evaluate the data quality. Finally, the results of data quality evaluation are given and analyzed

This paper deals with a multi level modular approach for the design process of a model dedicated to mode handling of flexible manufacturing systems. This model was proposed in our earlier work. It is characterized by a strong hierarchy and concurrency that is why within the design process an iterative approach for specification, verification and validation is introduced in order to improve this process. The main properties being verified are presented and the approach is illustrated through an example of a manufacturing production cell. The formal analysis tools integrated into the development environment Esterel Studio are used within the proposed design process
