Among the many means of presenting visual information for educational purposes, 3d panoramas andvirtual tours are the most interesting and informative for practical study and research. The development of 3d user interfaces allows you to fully realize the possibilities of interactive visualization in the digital environment. In the framework of the study, the prototype of the module for visualization of three-dimensional objects is described, which allows for 3dreconstruction from images. The model and algorithm of visualization of three-dimensional objects of the virtual reality environment are presented. An example of integration of a virtual tour to an oil refinery, through the use of the proposed software 3d interface, with an online course cloud educational platform. The dependence of changes in the size of the executable file on the degree of detail of the model and the type of three-dimensional objects used is shown.

With the rapidly developing unmanned aerial vehicles, the requirements of generating maps efficiently and quickly are increasing. To realize online mapping, we develop a real-time dense mapping framework nameddenseFusion which can incrementally generates dense geo-referenced3d point cloud, digital orthophoto map (dOM) anddigital surface model (dSM) from sequential aerial images with optional GPS information. The proposed method works in real-time on standard CPUs even for processing high resolution images. Based on the advanced monocular SLAM, our system first estimates appropriate camera poses and extracts effective keyframes, and next constructs virtual stereo-pair from consecutive frame to generate pruneddense 3d point clouds; then a novel realtime dSM fusion method is proposed which can incrementally process dense point cloud. Finally, a high efficiency visualization system is developed to adopt dynamic levels of detail (Lod) method, which makes it render dense point cloud anddSM smoothly. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated through qualitative and quantitative experiments. The results indicate that compared to traditional structure from motion based approaches, the presented framework is able to output both large-scale high-quality dOM anddSM in real-time with low computational cost.

We focus on the visualization of module-based software-such as OSGi, which underlies many large software systems-in virtual reality, since this offers a much higher comprehension potential compared to classical 3dvisualizations. Particularly, we present an approach for visualizing OSGi-based software architectures in virtual reality based on an island metaphor. The software modules are visualized as islands on a water surface. The island system is displayed in the confines of a virtual table where users can explore the software visualization on multiple levels of granularity by performing intuitive navigational tasks. Our approach allows users to get a first overview about the complexity of the software system by interactively exploring its modules as well as the dependencies between them.

Nowadays, 3dreconstruction pipelines based on structure-from motion and multi-view stereo techniques can reconstruct meticulous, large-scale geometry models and high-resolution textures. However, due to the shadow parts of the acquired images, the reconstructed texture map has dark areas, which is not convenient for relighting, which limits the use of the reconstruction model in VR/AR programs or games. In this paper, we introduce a large-scale synthetic city intrinsic images dataset for evaluating intrinsic decomposition of city scenes. Given our database, we developed a data-driven method for obtaining the diffuse albedo of reconstructed scenes, our method achieves good results in our intrinsic images dataset and real images.

Among the various types of scanning that can be found on the market to perform a three-dimensional reconstruction, an alternative is highlighteddue to its low cost and its ease of use, making it suitable for a great amount of applications. This is Image-based3d Modeling and Rendering (IB3dMR), in which it is possible to generate a three-dimensional model from a set of 2d photographs. Among the existing commercial applications based on the IB3dMR, this communication has selected the Autodesk ReCap software, which is free and provides great features in terms of simplicity of operation, automation of the reconstruction process and possibility of exporting to other more complex applications. The use of this type of technologies based on photogrammetry is an alternative to the conventional reverse engineering processes, so a study with seven different pieces in terms of colour, geometry and texture has been performed for its assessment, obtaining three-dimensional reconstructions with very satisfactory results.

Medical image three-dimensional model reconstruction technology, which uses two-dimensional medical image sequence to reconstruct three-dimensional model, provides doctors with intuitive, comprehensive and accurate information of lesions and normal tissues, is one of the hotspots in the field of medical imaging. According to different reconstruction models, virtual arbitrary cutting is realized, and surface cutting and volume cutting, and the interactive method of virtual cutting is discussed. The minimum error in merging is calculated to determine the location of the new vertex. Using the toolkit and library to develop a medical image 3d model reconstruction andvisualization system, can read medical image data in a specific format, perform 3d model reconstruction, and finally real-time interaction. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively preserve the graphical features of the original model and provide convenient use for real-time rendering.
