The effect of enhanced solution treatment on microstructures,tensile properties,intergranular corrosion and exfoliation corrosion of a 6013 type aluminum alloy proceeded via various solution treatment were investigated by optical microscopy(OM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),tension testing and corrosion resistance *** results show that compared with the conventional solution treatment(560℃×2 h),the enhanced solution treatment(560℃×2 h+570℃×2 h) can improve ultimate tensile strength and elongation,the corrosion resistance become worse after 151℃×8 h+191℃×8 h artificial *** tensile strength increase is believed to resulting from the coarse second phases *** corrosion resistance decrease is due to grain growth.

To accomplish the subaperture stitching testing for flat mirror under considerable adjustment error, we established a reasonable stitching algorithm and mathematical model based on iterative gradient algorithm. At the same time, a Φ 150mm flat mirror stitching experiment was taken to demonstrate the performance of the stitching algorithm. The surface maps were consistent between the testing results before and after stitching with the PV and RMS deviation 0.022λ and 0.003λ respectively.

The limitations of current interferogram reduction software with Zernike polynomials in analyzing rectangular interferogram are illuminated. The Zernike polynomials are no longer orthogonal over an rectangular region and have no explicit physical meanings. The reasonable mathematical model for removing translation errors is established based on least squares fitting. The experiment is carried on with a 200mm×75mm aspherical mirror by null-compensation, the misalignment errors can be eliminated from the original phase distribution exactly, thus the accurate surface map is gained, so it provides a guarantee for the superprecision fabrication. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

To solve the best-fit sphere (BFS) accurately is one of the technological keys for the generating and testing of optical aspherical surfaces. This paper presents a new algorithm for solving the BFS of aspherical surfaces to suppress some deficiencies in the existing BFS algorithms. In the proposed approach, a BFS is constructed, which passes through both sides of endpoints in the section o - xy of the aspherical surfaces, the center of the BFS is shifted along the x-axis, and its radius of curvature is automatically computed. The variable step size method is proposed to speed up the convergence of the iteration. Through numerically solving the BFS of conic and cubic surface, the advantages of the proposed approach are verified. The results show that the proposed approach is of rapid convergence, and high accuracy;it is not only suitable for the conic surface, but also for higher order aspheres. The obtained asphericity and material removal function is more suitable for the machining and test.

Deep UV (DUV) lithography is being applied to pattern increasingly finer geometries, leading to solutions like double- and multiple-patterning. Such process complexities lead to higher costs due to the increasing number of steps required to produce the desired results. One of the consequences is that the lithography equipment needs to provide higher operating efficiencies to minimize the cost increases, especially for producers of memory devices that experience a rapid decline in sales prices of these products over time. In addition to having introduced higher power 193nm light sources to enable higher throughput, we previously described technologies that also enable: higher tool availability via advanced discharge chamber gas management algorithms; improved process monitoring via enhanced on-board beam metrology; and increased depth of focus (DOF) via light source bandwidth modulation. In this paper we will report on the field performance of these technologies with data that supports the desired improvements in on-wafer performance and operational efficiencies.

By using a new type of single-beam normalized photo-acoustic spectroscopy that with weak signal detection and non-invasive testing, the photo-acoustic spectroscopy of semiconductor SiO2 nano-crystals was measured, the measured spectra of semiconductor SiO2 nano-crystals absorption coefficient was 0.20, and powders band gap is 3.4eV. The TEM image shows that the semiconductor SiO2 nano-crystals are round lump structure, while the grain size of the semiconductor SiO2 nano-crystals is about 70x200 nm, and the average particle size after the reunion is 100x300 nm. Compared with their micron crystal, the optical and electrical properties of semiconductor nano-crystals and nano-particle size are closely related. By changing the size of semiconductor nano-crystals, the mix could achieve the goal of changing the optical and electrical properties. Because of the semiconductor SiO2 nano-crystals' special properties of optics and electronics and photo-semiconductor nano-materials, they are widely used in many areas of modern science and technology.

Hydroxyl radical (OH) planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) measurements were performed in the University of Virginia's dual-mode scramjet experiment. The test section was set up in configuration A, which includes a Mach 2 nozzle, combustor, and extender section. Hydrogen fuel was injected through an unswept compression ramp at two different equivalence ratios. Through the translation of the optical system and the use of two separate camera views, the entire optical range of the combustor was accessed. Single-shot, average, and standard deviation images of the OH PLIF signal are presented at several streamwise locations. The results show the development of a highly turbulent flame structure and provide an experimental database to be used for numerical model assessment. © 2012 by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc. By using a new kind of single-beam normalized photo-acoustic tomography spectroscopy (PAS-CT) technology with non-damage and weak signals detection, the photo-acoustic tomography spectroscopy, optical absorption properties and photosynthetic pigment content of the green and yellow leaves of Ficus altissima were studied. The results showed that: photo-acoustic tomography spectroscopy could be obtained from different chopping frequency. The more photosynthetic pigment content the leaves of Ficus altissima contain, the bigger optical absorption coefficient and the higher photosynthetic efficiency they have. In the research, we could find that the photosynthetic pigment content of the yellow leaves of Ficus altissma is lower than that of the green ones. As a result, the optical absorption coefficient and the photosynthetic efficiency of the yellow ones were smaller and lower than the green ones. The photo-acoustic tomography spectroscopy technology can be a kind of non-damage detection to confirm the growth of trees. It could make benefits to the controlled environmental forestry and increase forest production to meet the need of forest for 6 billion people. The research showed high practical value to the study and application of the photosynthesis of plants.
