The paper shows how a multi-product batch process plant can be modelled on a timed Petri net. In this way, the search space for the scheduling algorithm is reduced to the feasible search space (taking into account the production unit constraints, product flow requirements and processing times). The algorithms developed are valuable tools that can be used in the design stages of such plants or as part of an intelligent software package that will totally control the plant in real time. Two multi-product batch process plants are modelled on a Petri net, scheduled and simulated to illustrate the developed techniques.

Customer satisfaction which reflects the matching degree between customer expectation and experience, is an important index to evaluate the quality of customer service. In this paper, a multi-layer evaluation system based on RATER index is constructed by using the network Analytic Network process (ANP), and a big data analysis model of customer satisfaction based on business data is proposed. The model is input with the actual business data. Real-time analysis of customer satisfaction can be achieved, and it can be used as an algorithm model to support the process of big data analysis. This model overcomes the problem that the modeling method is relatively simple in customer satisfaction evaluation. And it solves the problem that the original data usually comes from the questionnaire that can not reflect the change of customer satisfaction in real time. The practical example verifies the practicability and effectiveness of the proposed model in the evaluation of electric power service satisfaction.

Ecosystem assessment is a very complex problem in the society. There are more factors to resolve the problem. To a regional sustainable development, the health of ecosystem is very important in a city. In this paper, multistage-weight (MSW)model is proposed which have two stages indexes. Because, at different stage or level, there are different information which should been taking into account. To the first stage indexes, the Analytic Hierarchy process(AHP) is used to compute the weight of these factors. The entropy information is used to compute the weight of the second stage indexes. Through the experiment, the MSW model is more reasonable and has the information of two stages indexes than other methods which only use one stage indexes of aquatic ecosystem health.

Knowledge in the fields of automation, process knowledge, machine engineering, "work post" ergonomics, cognitive ergonomics, working psychology, sociology and so on are necessary to design efficient supervisory systems. This is because supervision is an activity in which human being, despite the increasing automation of the last years, is still present. In this paper we show how some theoretical works about Human-Machine Cooperation (MIC) can be used to design advanced Human Adapted Supervisory Systems (AHASS). In a second part of the paper, we present two applications of this theoretical work about Human-Machine Cooperation to the design of advanced human adapted supervisory systems (AHASS). The first application concerns air traffic control (ATC), a process with a low level of automation (LOA). Sinter mixture is the essential material of iron production. Its moisture content is vital to iron quality. A novel process detecting instrumentation was advanced based on the sinter mixture conductance property and production condition. It was composed of a by-pass auto sample-fixed device and analytical instrumentation, respectively, an auto-correction device. The sinter mixture was sampled from the main convey belt and fixed to cube solid by the by-pass auto sample-fixed device, meanwhile, the optimum plane sensors were placed on its surface for measure its moisture content over the analytical instrumentation. Rapid weight-loss measuring device corrected the analytical instrumentation on-line and guaranteed its accuracy. On-line measurement application indicated that the process detecting instrumentation possessed good linear and reflected moisture reliable and precise.
