The project investment balance rate is an important control indicator in the process of distribution network project cost management. The investment balance rate can truly reflect the effectiveness of project cost management and the scientificity of project cost preparation. In order to further analyze and control the cost of distribution network projects and effectively improve the applicability of the balance rate index to distribution network projects, this paper innovatively introduces the coefficient of variation and grey relational evaluation model, constructs an index system of factors affecting the balance rate, from the perspective of each sub-project cost of the project, and takes the 10kV overhead line project as an example to calculate the investment balance rate index, analyzes the reasons for the high investment balance rate, and proposes targeted management improvements.

While APC provides many benefits, it also presents many implementation and operational challenges including significant up-front configuration cost, lack of solution accuracy resulting in false/missed alarms, and lack of a consistent capability for prognostics leading to scrap, lost productivity and reduced quality. Next Generation APC (NG-APC) is an evolutionary solution that addresses these challenges and provides new capabilities for APC solutions. It leverages recent advancements in the traditional APC capabilities as well as benefits provided by big data and prediction capabilities. Key enhancements include single-threaded R2R control for improved high-mix processcontrol capability, semi-automation of FDC model development with model and limits optimization through a move to "supervised" FDC, improved data management and analysis capabilities through leveraging of big data architectures, and incorporation of prediction capabilities in solutions for improved process quality and uptime with reduced cost. Additionally, NGAPC is structured as an extensible solution, thus it can continue to evolve as new APC and related technologies emerge.

Towards this end Intel has been pursuing a progressively layered roadmap to automate lot processing. By eliminating the manual steps to select, deliver, and process a lot, the efficiency of the semiconductor process can be greatly improved. Simulation studies have shown that fully automated lot processing provides compelling throughout, cycle time, and labor efficiency benefits. In this paper we describe the high-level strategy and implementation details on the effort towards fully automated lot processing at Intel's factories.

The two Olefins plants are part of an integrated Refinery-Petrochemicals Complex and crack Naphtha and Gas Oil feedstock. In executing the project, Multi-variable model predictive controllers replaced existing advanced regulatory controllers, dynamic Optimization replaced existing steady state Optimizers, and furnace transient controls were implemented. This paper describes the overall project and application technology utilized.
