The early detection of renal cancer recurrence plays a critical role in improving patient outcomes and quality of life. In this study, we propose a novel approach for an Early Warning System for Renal Cancer Recurrence leveraging wearable IoT devices, smartphone integration, cloud-based data processing, and advanced machine learning and deep learning algorithms. Specifically, we employ a range of wearable sensors, including pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, temperature sensors, and activity trackers, to capture relevant physiological parameters associated with renal cancer recurrence. Optional implantable sensors, such as glucose monitors and biomarker sensors, are also considered for enhanced monitoring capabilities. Smartphone integration serves as a central hub for data aggregation, enabling real-time monitoring, alerts, and feedback mechanisms for both patients and healthcare providers through mobile applications. sensor data is securely transmitted to cloud-based platforms for centralized storage and processing, where data fusion techniques are implemented to integrate sensor data with electronic health records (EHR), imaging data, and other clinical information for comprehensive analysis. Machine learning and deep learning algorithms are developed and trained on integrated datasets to detect patterns indicative of renal cancer recurrence, analyzing multi-modal data sources to identify subtle indicators of recurrence. Finally, a real-time alerting system is implemented to trigger notifications to healthcare providers when abnormal patterns or deviations from baseline are detected, enabling timely intervention and proactive management strategies. This comprehensive Early Warning System enables continuous monitoring, early detection of abnormalities, and personalized interventions, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes and quality of care in the management of renal cancer recurrence.

With the rising need for readily available healthcare information, there is an urgent call for innovative solutions in predicting cardiovascular diseases. Existing methods encounter challenges in ensuring user privacy and optimizing network efficiency. This research work exploits advanced technologies, specifically the integration of Federated Learning and IoT within edge networks, to address the existing challenges. Our novel approach involves a combination of real-time sensor data and federated model updates. The proposed system not only achieves heightened prediction accuracy while safeguarding user privacy but, also significantly reduces network congestion marking a significant advancement in edge-based cardiovascular diagnoses. The validity of proposed system has been investigated by comparing the results of implementation with different models and performance metrics. Notably, our shallow Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model achieved an accuracy of 90.43%, outperforming other machine learning models. Additionally, in a federated learning setting, the model maintained consistent performance with training ac-curacies showing an upward trend across federated rounds. This integration demonstrates effective learning and model convergence, underscoring the potential of our approach in real-world applications.

Wireless sensor Network (WSN) is a predominant technology that is widely used in many applications such as industrial sectors, defense, environment, habitat monitoring, medical fields etc., These applications are habitually delegated for observing sensitive and confidential raw data such as adversary position, movement in the battle field, location of personnel in a building, changes in environmental condition, regular medical updates from patient side to doctors or hospital control rooms etc., Security becomes inevitable in WSN and providing security is being truly intricate because of in-built nature of WSN which is assailable to attacks easily. Node involved in WSN need to route the data to the neighboring nodes wherein any attack in the node could lead to fiasco. Of late trust mechanisms have been considered to be an ideal solution that can mitigate security problems in WSN. This paper aims to investigate various existing trust-based Secure Routing (SR) protocols and mechanisms available for the wireless sensing connection. The concept of the present trust mechanism is also analyzed with respect to methodology, trust metric, pros, cons, and complexity involved. Finally, the security resiliency of various trust models against the attacks is also analyzed.

Upcoming mobile networking will require wireless applications with global coverage and better data rates. Current diverse cellular systems like wireless and satellite systems are not able to satisfy these demands on their own in particularly remote places with mountains and seas. This paper uses transdisciplinary expertise, including domain knowledge of 6 G satellite communication, advanced NLP technology, and patent retrieval and analytic approaches, to identify the potential technological landscape and trends. Depending on the abovementioned objectives, this study offered an exhaustive evaluation of ISAC innovation for 6G ISTNs in this study. Initially, this investigation provided an outline of the main technologies, assessment criteria, and past development history of the ISAC. After that, a thorough discussion of the state of ISTN development was held, emphasizing integrated network topologies. Finally, we outline the key technologies and scenarios that could be implemented in the next generation of satellite-terrestrial ISAC.

Event cameras are bio-inspired vision sensors which measure per pixel brightness changes. They offer numerous benefits over traditional, frame-based cameras, including low latency, high dynamic range, high temporal resolution and low power consumption. Thus, these sensors are suited for robotics and virtual reality applications. To foster the development of 3D perception and navigation algorithms with event cameras, we present the TUM-VIE dataset. It consists of a large variety of handheld and head-mounted sequences in indoor and outdoor environments, including rapid motion during sports and high dynamic range scenarios. The dataset contains stereo event data, stereo grayscale frames at 20Hz as well as IMU data at 200Hz. Timestamps between all sensors are synchronized in hardware. The event cameras contain a large sensor of 1280x720 pixels, which is significantly larger than the sensors used in existing stereo event datasets (at least by a factor of ten). We provide ground truth poses from a motion capture system at 120Hz during the beginning and end of each sequence, which can be used for trajectory evaluation. TUM-VIE includes challenging sequences where state-of-the art visual SLAM algorithms either fail or result in large drift. Hence, our dataset can help to push the boundary of future research on event-based visual-inertial perception algorithms.

The IOT animal detection and prevention system or farm management is a promising solution to the challenge of animal intrusion, which can significantly impact crop yield and livestock health. The system uses a network of sensors deployed across the farm premises to monitor animal movement and behavior in real-time. These sensors, equipped with motion detectors, infrared sensors, and cameras, continuously gather data and transmit it to a central processing unit. advanced algorithms, including machine learning and computer vision techniques, analyze the data to distinguish between harmless wildlife and potential threats. Upon detecting the unauthorized animal presence, the system triggers preventive measures, such as sound alarms, flashing lights, or automated water sprayers. Alerts are sent to farm managers or personnel via mobile applications or other communication channels, enabling swift response and intervention. The IoT platform provides valuable insights into animal behavior patterns and trends, facilitating proactive farm management strategies. By analyzing historical data, farmers can identify high-risk areas prone to animal intrusion and implement targeted preventive measures. Continuous monitoring enables early detection of emerging threats, minimizing potential damage and losses. Implementing an IoT-based system offers numerous benefits, including enhanced farm security, improved resource utilization, and optimized operational efficiency.

The BCIs are normally designed at the assisting, restoring and expanding human sensor-vehicles and the cognitive elements through the availability of more direct information transfer routs. This form of communication is done between the human brain and the exterior devices. In the invasive BCI, sensors are incorporate in the brain, which is situated on the cerebrum surface. At this juncture, the invasive BCI that utilizes the wireless sensors have not been attained. The vital purpose of the sensor nodes is gathering the information from the various domains before processing them to the BS. In the BS, the applications are found. Nonetheless, by assuring a more direct form of information transfer, the pathways between the sensor and sinks are capable of draining the energy in the nodes. This is due to the high requirement of power in the transferring messages. In that case, it is necessary that the nodes collaborate with each other to make sure that information transfer is possible within the nodes comprising of the sinks. This research proposes WSN based brain functionality sensing. For the acquired EEG data, k means clustering is applied to form the group of sensor nodes with cluster head. Then the krill herd algorithm is applied to optimize the cluster heads. The krill herd algorithm technique is used to select the optimized cluster heads. Then based on the sensor nodes and cluster heads, the brain functionality is identified. After that, the data is transmitted to the base station.

Microfarming and urban computing have evolved as two distinct sustainability pillars of urban living today. In this paper, we combine these two concepts, while majorly extending them jointly towards novel concepts of smart microfarming and urban computing continuum. Smart microfarming is proposed with applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in microfarming, while an urban computing continuum is proposed as a major extension of the concept towards an efficient Internet of Things (IoT) -edge-cloud continuum. We propose and build a system architecture for a plant recommendation system that uses machine learning (ML) at the edge to find, from a pool of given plants, the most suitable ones for a given microfarm using monitored soil values obtained from IoT sensor devices. Moreover, we propose to integrate long-distance LongRange (LoRa) communication solution for sending the data from IoT to the edge system, due to its unlicensed nature and potential for open source implementations. Finally, we propose to integrate open source and less constrained application protocol solutions, such as advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) and Hypertext Transport Protocol (HTTP) protocols, for storing the data in the cloud. An experimental setup is used to evaluate and analyze the performance and reliability of the data collection procedure and the quality of the recommendation solution. Furthermore, collaborative filtering is used for the completion of an incomplete information about soils and plants. Finally, various ML algorithms are applied to identify and recommend the optimal plan for a specific microfarm in an urban area.
