Greenhouse agriculture has emerged as a critical component in addressing global food security challenges, experiencing rapid growth and technological integration in recent years. This paper presents GreenSight, an IoT-based automated greenhouse monitoring system designed to optimize plant growth conditions while enhancing operational efficiency. Leveraging advanced technologies such as the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller and DHT22 sensor, GreenSight facilitates real-time environmental monitoring and control within the greenhouse environment. The system incorporates actuators including SG90 servo motors, 9V DC motors, and mist atomizers to regulate atmospheric conditions tailored to diverse plant species' requirements. Additionally, a user-friendly Android application enables remote access and configuration. Ten (10) experts specializing in information technology and computer engineering assessed the prototype using ISO 9126 evaluation criteria. The Likert Scale was employed for interpretation. According to the evaluation, the project attained an overall mean of 3.32, indicating that it satisfies requirements concerning functionality, reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability, and portability.

UAV-borne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) has played an important role in the field of military reconnaissance, due to its advantages such as strong survivability, high resolution and high flexibility. Distributed interactive simulation technology to evaluate the combat effectiveness of the UAV-borne SAR has become a hot research issue. In this paper, a distributed data interaction interface, namely SARDDS, based on data distribution service (DDS) has been proposed to satisfy the requirements of high real time and high throughput of data interaction in the distributed simulation architecture of UAV-borne SAR. The data interaction interface follows the development specification of QualNet simulator and adopts publish-subscribe communication mode to realize the data interaction between various modules of the distributed simulation system. Experimental results verify the high real time and high throughput of the designed interface, which is of great significance to the distributed simulation for the UAV-borne SAR combat effectiveness evaluation.

Diabetes is a disease that requires monitoring of healthy habits for its treatment. A recent study suggests that sensor-based activity recognition approaches are a suitable tool for monitoring such habits that are established between clinical personnel and the patient through a therapeutic contract. To date, there is no fully described system architecture for implementing a sensor-based activity recognition approach to monitor healthy habits. In this paper, we present the advanced architecture of a system for monitoring healthy habits of multiple diabetes patients in their homes. The presented system, called AI2EPD, features a complex architecture that encompasses from the sensor devices deployed in each patient's home to persistence in the central server and visualisation in the technical and clinical interface. The system has been deployed in the municipality of Cabra in Cordoba (Spain) in collaboration with the Cabra Health Centre. The approach for sensor installation in the patient's home, as well as the issues and challenges encountered during system deployment, are presented in this section.
