This study proposes an intelligent travel assistance system for the elderly based on the Internet of Things (IoT), which realizes real-time monitoring and intelligent response to the living environment and health condition of the elderly through multi-sensor fusion and wireless communication technology, and improves the safety of the elderly travel. The system takes STM32F103C8T6 controller as the core, integrates environment monitoring module, health monitoring module, identity recognition module, etc., adopts ESP8266 module and MQTT protocol to realize data transmission in the cloud, and displays real-time monitoring information and personalized service with the help of WeChat applet. At the same time, the system is designed with a hierarchical warning mechanism to ensure that family members can be notified in a timely manner in case of emergencies, to improve the efficiency of emergency response and to protect the travel safety of the elderly.

This paper proposes a bidirectional communication system designed to handle fast wireless data exchange between an active sensor (AS) based on the ESP32 and an application installed on a personal computer (PC). The data flow is increased by using an additional ESP32 as a computer interface (CI), which is connected to the PC via a USB cable. Data exchange between the ESP32 devices is achieved using the ESP-NOW protocol, developed by the Espressif team. This protocol allows for fast interconnection and data streaming, with the created Wi-Fi network being invisible to other devices. First, the data flow was tested using an MPU6050 sensor, the ESP32’s analog-to-digital converter, and internally generated data, in order to differentiate the data flow based on the source of data acquisition. Second, a UAV arm was simulated. The AS sends MPU6050 sensor data to the PC via the CI, and the PC processes the data and responds with a PWM value to adjust the arm's position to a specific angle. Tests revealed that an increased data flow enables accurate control without the need for complex control techniques. Additionally, the system can be useful in other applications requiring fast wireless data exchange for process control, particularly in research environments. The only requirement for the PC software is to support a serial connection via USB.

Fuzzy controlled sensorless speed control of induction motor with MRAS based approach is proposed in this paper. Fuzzy logic controller is expected to be better controller as compared to traditional PI and PID controllers. The mathematical modeling of the MRAS module with inputs from induction motor stator voltages and currents taken as feedback to estimate the speed of the machine is described. The speed control of the induction motor is achieved by IRFOC without speed sensor at the motor. Induction motor speed and electromagnetic torque comparison with PI and FIS controllers integrated into the structure are represented by graphs plotted with time as a reference. Fuzzy controller is modeled with 49 rule base including two inputs and one output variable. All the modules design and the analysis is carried out in MATLAB software with 'powergui' toolbox for generating graphs. © 2022 IEEE.

As environmental concerns and fire hazards continue to grow, there is an increasing demand for automated systems that can monitor and mitigate these risks in real time. This paper presents the design and implementation of an Enhanced Environmental Monitoring system which can integrate multiple sensors to track environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, air quality and smoke. It also incorporates fire detection and hazard mitigation mechanisms. The system uses an array of sensors including DHT22, MQ series gas sensors, LDR, IR flame sensors and FC-28 to continuously monitor the environment. In the event of a fire or hazardous condition, the system triggers appropriate actions such as activating a water pump, cooling fan or a buzzer. Additionally, the system is equipped with cloud-based connectivity which enables remote monitoring and control through a web interface. This approach not only ensures real-time hazard detection but also enhances safety, resource management and environmental sustainability. The proposed system demonstrates a practical and scalable solution for intelligent environmental management in homes, offices and industrial areas.

The U.S Military and other foreign Armed Forces have been slowly embracing the use of robotic systems in combat operations, enabling them to mitigate unnecessary risks for dismounted soldiers. As technologies continue to improve, semi-autonomous platforms can carry out complicated tasks and keep Warfighters out of harm's way. Nevertheless, no matter how good the technology is, it remains susceptible to failure or encountering situations that it does not know how to handle. This means that soldiers must be prepared to assist or take over the robotic systems at a moment's notice. To ensure that Combat Engineers can smoothly transition between active and supporting roles throughout the mission, robotic platforms must have robust user interfaces that adjust to the soldiers' needs. To address this gap, we introduce a framework that allows a user to take full control of a Robot Operating system (ROS) based platform utilizing interfaces such as wearable devices, Virtual Reality (VR) headsets, and traditional workstations. With this framework, users may gather situational information, execute autonomous routines or tele-operate a ROS-based platform from any device that has access to the robot's network. We present three user interfaces to demonstrate the use of our framework and discuss its impact to the role of Combat Engineers and robotic platforms in future operations. These user interfaces include a military tactical mobile application, a simulated workstation in virtual reality, and a smartwatch application.

Aiming at the existing track model car easy to lose the line, easy to go off the track out of the problem, this paper carries out the intelligent track monitoring car model of the software program part of the design as well as intelligent track monitoring car parts of the overall design debugging and analysis and other aspects of the research. The design adopts MK60 as the core microprocessor, uses CMOS image sensor OV7725 digital camera to collect road conditions, and processes the road surface information to get the road surface guidance information. Through the guidance information of the road surface to guide the stable driving of the tracking monitoring vehicle, the control system real-time closed-loop control of the corner and speed of the tracking monitoring vehicle, and based on the road surface information and the measured corner and speed information for PID control. The experiments show that the tracking vehicle can be driven stably under the given experimental route, and has better speed and control accuracy.

This study is aimed to introduce a novel multi-sensor-based dosimetry platform for real-time plan monitoring in HDR brachytherapy: IViST (In Vivo Source Tracking). IViST is a platform composed of three components: 1) an optimized and characterized multi-point plastic scintillator dosimeter (3 points mPSD;using BCF-60, BCF-12, and BCF-10 scintillators), 2) a compact assembly of photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) coupled to dichroic mirrors and filters for high-sensitivity scintillation light collection, and 3) a Python-based graphical user interface used for system management and signal processing. IViST can simultaneously measure dose, triangulate source position, and measure dwell time. By making 100 000 measurements/s, IViST samples enough data to quickly perform key QA/QC tasks such as identifying wrong individual dwell time, position, or interchanged transfer tubes. By using 3 co-linear sensors and planned information for an implant geometry, the platform can also triangulate source position in real-time. A clinical trial to validate this system is presently on-going using the IViST system.

Water pollution threatens the well-being of ecosystems and human communities across the globe. In a bid to respond to these problems, this project intends to implement the Pollution-detection system. The system seeks to preserve biodiversity, conduct water quality tests, protect human health, and support sustainable fishing. The major elements are sensors like pH sensor, Temperature sensor, Turbidity sensors inbuilt in the artificial fish to monitor the level of pollution in real time and to fetch the data about the pollution level in water. These tools send commands wirelessly to the central control and monitoring system, which records data continuously and performs the analysis. Sophisticated data allows the system to identify the pollution caused by water quality. Through the delivery of Regulatory Measures, Pollution Prevention promotes improved preservation of water quality and marine life.

As the need for image resolution, transmission rate, and integration rises in space remote sensing applications, the charge accumulation-based TDI- CMOS sensor devices evolve fast. This study proposes a TDI-CMOS imaging system based on FPGA to answer the challenge of high-resolution, wide-format multispectral imaging. First, the device selection and stitching design ideas are clarified based on the index requirements of the imaging system;second, the design techniques of the TDI-CMOS imaging system are emphasized, and the implementation methods of critical technologies such as TDI-CMOS timing drive, register configuration, P-spectrum, and B-spectrum image data training, and high-speed data interface design of the imaging system are illustrated;third, the relevant experimental work is described. In conclusion, the experimental work is described, and the experimental findings are examined and interpreted. The experimental findings demonstrate that the imaging system has a signal-to-noise ratio of 45 dB for P-spectrum and 55 dB for B-spectrum and that the resolution of picture elements is 8288 columns for P-spectrum and 2072 columns for B-spectrum.
