This paper presents a system wherein the individual seated on a wheelchair will be given a keen headband to control the wheelchair based on neural signals or brain waves emitted from the brain utilizing technologies like Brain-Computer interface(BCI), Electrooculography (EOG) and Electroencephalography (EEG). Subsequent to applying these technologies on a small wheelchair model, we have gotten incredible accuracy of the neural-signals. Thus the results are quite astonishing. Apart from this, in future aspects considering the safety of passengers, if anything obstructing the way of the wheelchair comes too close;causing the person to lose their concentration, the wheelchair will sense the obstacle and will apply brakes immediately. Other smart mobility features like fall-detection, ability to go through tight spaces, autonomous driving features can also be seen. The proposed wheelchair has the potential to significantly impact the healthcare business. The use of this brain-controlled wheelchair can improve a wheelchair-worthy patient's quality of life. © 2022 IEEE.

With the increasing maturity of deep learning in the field of computer vision, traditional visual methods are gradually being replaced by deep learning algorithms, such as YOLO (You Only Look Once), accelerating the process of computational inference. The parking problem faces limitations in robustness under the constraints of diverse and complex scenarios from a traditional visual perspective. However, in the rapidly evolving modernization process, the development of parking systems has the potential to significantly advance the progress of artificial intelligence applications. This paper presents the design of a parking tracking system utilizing a laptop, D435i camera, STM32, and the YOLOv7 algorithm. By employing a detection-distance measurement-judgment approach, the system achieves target locking and tracking, allowing the vehicle to smoothly follow a specific target. Through experiments, our parking system demonstrates sharp target recognition and prompt responsiveness. The distance measurement error is maintained between 0.28 to 1 meter, and the YOLO inference speed stabilizes at 74 milliseconds until the system responds. This stability enables the parking system to make reliable judgments and respond quickly in real-world scenarios, providing a robust solution for practical applications.

Both the locating of flood victims and the provision of continuous alarm information to the Disaster Rescue Force are accomplished by the Flood alarm and Rescue system. Additionally, it shows where the individuals who are trapped in the water are. Afterwards, a flood alarm system might be activated to notify the public. Contrarily, in an emergency, the Rescue system will direct the rescue workers to the people who need them. The individuals in need will activate the rescue operation by pressing the button that the government has given them. The "rescue team will use the signal processing device to receive and decode the encoded communication signal that it emits". Because of this, they will be able to find the individual far more quickly than was previously achievable with the technology at their disposal. This is the case since the top goals of the rescuing force are determined by our system. Our prototype is built with the idea that individuals may simply incorporate the gadget into their daily tasks when floods are in the area. The inclusion of a torch in our product ensures its continued viability and makes it suitable for usage in low-light situations, such as during floods.

This research study presents the Smart Irrigation system using ESP8266 NODEMCU and ThingSpeak as there is an increasing need to integrate new technologies such as IoT, cloud computing, and advanced sensing technologies to address the challenges faced by modern irrigation systems and sustainable agriculture practices. This study utilizes a ThingSpeak platform and ESP8266 microcontroller-based Smart Irrigation system (SIS). The proposed system incorporates real-time data monitoring and control methods with the goal of optimizing water usage in agriculture. The proposed system is a low-cost Wi-Fi module called ESP8266, which allows wireless communication between sensors, actuators, and the cloud-based ThingSpeak platform. sensors placed across the agricultural field are used to monitor a variety of environmental characteristics, including temperature, humidity, and soil moisture. After that, the gathered data is sent to ThingSpeak, where it is processed and examined to determine the appropriate amount of irrigation.

In wind farms, the accuracy of the measurements provided by current sensors is crucial to ensure effective monitoring and control precision. Malfunctioning of these sensors can lead to severe damages, particularly at the converter, generator, and network levels. Therefore, it is essential to quickly identify faulty sensors to ensure the proper functioning of the system, to avoid energy losses, and to reduce maintenance costs. This article presents a diagnostic method based on an array of Extended Kalman Filters (EKF), developed following the Dedicated Observer Scheme (DOS), relying on a nonlinear model of the Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG). This approach aims to estimate the rotor currents, which are then compared with sensor measurements to produce residuals used as fault indicators to detect faulty sensors. This method has been implemented on an FPGA board, and the experimental results obtained demonstrate its effectiveness, even under varying wind conditions.

The traditional thermal control system of the space optical remote sensor is mainly based on passive thermal control and supplemented by active thermal control of electric heater. But with the development of the remote sensor in the direction of multi-task and multi-function, the thermal control system needs to meet the requirements of low thermal control resource consumption under the condition of multi heat source and large heat load, and high adaptability under the condition of multi attitude complex orbit. The traditional thermal control system can not satisfy these new requirements. In this paper, a new adaptive thermal control system is studied. A geostationary orbit camera as an example is taken to compare the design scheme of the traditional thermal control system and the new thermal control system. The simulation results show that the new thermal control has the advantages of more optimized system resources and stronger temperature adaptability under complex tasks, which provides a new idea for the subsequent thermal control design of complex large space optical remote sensor. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In brain-machine interface (BMI) applications, a key challenge is the low information content and high noise level in neural signals, severely affecting stable robotic control. To address this challenge, we proposes a cooperative shared control framework based on brain-inspired intelligence, where control signals are decoded from neural activity, and the robot handles the fine control. This allows for a combination of flexible and adaptive interaction control between the robot and the brain, making intricate human-robot collaboration feasible. The proposed framework utilizes spiking neural networks (SNNs) for controlling robotic arm and wheel, including speed and steering. While full integration of the system remains a future goal, individual modules for robotic arm control, object tracking, and map generation have been successfully implemented. The framework is expected to significantly enhance the performance of BMI. In practical settings, the BMI with cooperative shared control, utilizing a brain-inspired algorithm, will greatly enhance the potential for clinical applications.

As a new monitoring method, RFID (radio frequency identification) realizes data exchange through radio frequency non-contact technology, which is emerging and attracting widespread *** paper studies the self-powered RFID sensor system for power transformer condition monitoring,which mainly includes energy management module,signal acquisition module,signal processing module and RF module. Due to the use of wireless technology,significant overhaul costs and hardware inputs investment are saved, which makes it possible to realize long-term online monitoring. The combination of RF chip and solar cell can effectively extend chip power supply time, strengthen the function of the chip, greatly increase the communication distance and prolong the life of the *** digital signal processing method, the trend term of the signal, which is obtained by triaxial acceleration sensor, caused by integration is removed, and the vibration displacement signal is obtained quickly, which provides a strong technical support for the real time domain testing. © 2021 IEEE.

This research work consists in to design a system of occupancy simulation in smart homes based on IoT, in order to create configurations within a home that make look like the daily behavior of home inhabitants. Due to the high rate of burglary in uninhabited places, reaching an 9% in average in 2019 in the Chilean case, technologies have been involved with greater emphasis on improving security systems, where the implementation of the Internet of Things will allow rapid action against the intruder detection in those places. The proposed IoT system is based on a motion sensor, actuators as relays and lights, Arduino platform to control system, and a Amazon Echo virtual assistant to interface with inhabitants. The main contribution of this prototype security system is the integration of different IoT (Adafruit, IFFTT) and control platforms (Arduino uno and NodeMCU), virtual assistant (Alexa) and actuators, which has features that can be replicated in larger processes and with a larger number of devices. The results demonstrate that security system create an environment occupied by owners without to be inside home, through sensors and actuators.
