Autonomous docking for underwater drones is crucial for various marine applications. This paper introduces an approach to autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) docking using ArUco marker-based localization, as demonstrated by Project MIRA, at the Tau Autonomy Center, Norway. The method combines a controlsystem with dual-feed computer vision based perception to achieve autonomy. The controlsystem is based on a cascaded PID controller fine-tuned using various external sensors and optimization techniques. The vision system utilizes ArUco markers for 3D positioning. Our method uses visual markers to help the drone navigate to a custom docking pad. We achieved stable and reliable docking by combining advancedcontrolsystems using visual-inertial sensors. This work highlights the potential of using visual markers and smart controlsystems for underwater drone operations.

Many farmers already started using the Greenhouse Farming and Smart Irrigation system. The Sri Lankan agriculture sector is comparatively underdeveloped in using technological inputs for farming activities. In this project, we have built an irrigation system based on WSN technology and IoT technology. An efficient drip irrigation system is being developed here that can automatically manage the flow of water to plants based on the soil moisture level in the field. This smart irrigation system is equipped with IoT-based communication capabilities that allow the remote user to remotely monitor field parameters such as soil moisture levels, temperature, and humidity, as well as manage water supply in an automated or manual mode. Furthermore, the project includes temperature/humidity sensors, and soil moisture sensors that allow a remote user to monitor these parameters over the Internet and control water distribution in two different fields based on them. These parameters obtained from the field are stored in real time in a remote database. Through the proposed smart irrigation scheme, it will be possible to monitor the level of elements like temperature and humidity which lead to disease outbreaks in the field. A practical, efficient, and useful way to irrigate farmers' crops.

It implements the usage of Augmented Reality which is an emerging technology in the current research trend. AR technology superimposes digital information onto the physical world, providing real-time, interactive visualization. By integrating AR with advanced diagnostic algorithms, technicians can quickly and accurately identify wiring faults such as short circuits, open circuits, and insulation failures. The AR system uses a combination of cameras and sensors to capture the wiring layout and diagnose issues, overlaying visual indicators of faults directly onto the live feed of the *** features of the proposed system include real-time fault localization, guided troubleshooting procedures, and the ability to visualize complex wiring schematics overlaid on physical components. The use of AR minimizes the need for extensive training, reduces inspection times, and enhances the accuracy of fault detection. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are increasingly adopted in various applications due to their high mobility and advanced sensing capabilities. However, they also face significant security threats and reliability concerns arising from external adversarial attacks and internal system failures. AI and machine learning techniques have shown promise in detecting security threats and anomalies in UAVs, but their effectiveness heavily depends on high-quality UAV security datasets for training. In this paper, we present an open-source simulation platform designed to model diverse UAV security scenarios. Our platform offers flexible customization of attacking effects on major UAV components, including onboard sensors, communication systems, vision modules, and flight control. Additionally, it provides rapid generation and collection of UAV system data under adversarial conditions, facilitating intelligent cybersecurity and reliability analysis. Our experiments successfully simulated over 30 attacking effects toward UAVs, demonstrating our platform's capability to support extensive UAV security research.

Compensation network is an important part of the wireless power transfer (WPT) system, which compensates for the reactive power of the loosely coupled coils. However, many environmental factors can result in small changes to the compensation parameters of the WPT system, decreasing the transferred power and efficiency. To analyze the influence of parameter variation on transferred power and efficiency, a mathematical model of parameter variations on a double-sided LCC-compensated WPT system is established. A 1-kW IPT prototype is built and corresponding simulation and experimental verifications are conducted to verify the theoretical analysis.

The protective equipment equipped by firefighters is more and more advanced, but the sacrifice rate of firefighters in the fire fighting task is increasing year by year. For the designer of fire protective clothing, how to make a balance between protection and portability is a difficult choice. There is an obvious upward trend of accidental casualties among firefighters when they perform fire fighting tasks. For this reason, a multi-sensor intelligent wearable device vital signs monitoring system for firefighters is proposed in this paper. The control center of the designed system can know the information such as the number and names of firefighters on duty through the personnel positioning within the scope of each detachment, and realize the attendance management of firefighters. Includes system acceleration sensor, heart rate sensor, temperature and smoke sensor. The system can monitor the physical health, movement state and position information of firefighters in real time, and provide remote interactive function, which is convenient for the command center to issue instructions and push the auxiliary decision information, thus realizing the intelligent management of firefighters and improving their combat level.
