Power grid operation, equipment maintenance, construction and other power grid field operations, the task is heavy, many points and wide. There are many dangerous factors in the process of power grid operation, including human factors, environmental factors, equipment factors, management factors and other influencing factors. Aiming at the problems of single mode and complex factor, a multi-mode fusion method is proposed. Based on the operation ticket mechanism in the "two votes and three systems" of the power system, under the supervision of the original traditional IP layout and control ball, various influencing factors on the site are collected as comprehensively as possible combined with sensors such as blood oxygen, gas concentration, tension, pressure and inclination Angle, and the information characteristics feedback from these factors are utilized across modes. Multi-level fusion method is adopted to fuse the text features extracted by BERT and the image features extracted by Faster R-CNN at an early stage, which improves the normalization of the operation process. By making decision fusion of image features and sensor features extracted by LSTM, the alarm of potential hazards is advanced. Under the multi-mode integration, the average level of overall risk prevention and control on the job site has been improved.

Taking the DC brushless motor as the controlled object and STM32F103VET6 as the core, the design of the controller hardware circuit is carried out. The circuit mainly includes PWM drive circuit composed of IR2110, inverter circuit composed of IRFP250, Hall position detection circuit, current detection circuit, etc. The system uses current feedback and rotor position feedback to realize double closed-loop control of the motor. The controller has a VR virtual device interface for healing and fun. MATLAB/Simulink is used to simulate, and the fuzzy PID is used to compare with the traditional PID. The experimental results show that the fuzzy PID has faster response speed, better stability and less overshoot than the traditional PID, which can meet the control performance requirements of the rehabilitation lower limb robot. © VDE VERLAG GMBH - Berlin - Offenbach.

This conference paper presents the design and implementation of a basic infrared (IR) interface for optical wireless communication (OWC), designed for the commercial Red Pitaya board, which integrates fast analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and a system on chip (SoC). Red Pitaya is a low-cost, open-source, measurement-and-control platform that provides an FPGA-based processing system and a wide range of input/output options. The interface uses a simple but effective approach that employs IR light for the wireless communication. The transmitter and receiver modules are built from readily available components and integrated into the Red Pitaya via an expansion connector. The interface provides a reliable OWC channel that can be used for various applications such as remote control, data acquisition, and real-time signal processing. In our case it was used to transmit Morse code via IR. The performance of the interface was evaluated during the Electrical Engineering STudents’ European assoCiation (EESTEC) hackathon in Ljubljana and at the University of California San Diego using experiments to demonstrate its feasibility and effectiveness. The results show that the interface enables data transmission over a distance of several meters. The proposed IR interface provides a cost-effective and easy-to-implement solution for wireless communication with Red Pitaya. As such, it is a valuable addition to the platform’s capabilities and is ready for further user upgrades to test more advanced modulation formats.

This paper proposes a battery-free sensor-based monitoring system on a staircase to distinguish fall and non-fall events in the elderly without invading individual privacy. The system distinguishes three events on a staircase such as neutral, walking, and falling with the use of passive RFID sensor tags, which are capable of pressure detection, and machine learning-based on pressure values and the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI). This research will focus on expanding the monitoring fields on the staircases since there are more than 19% of the elderly die from accidental falls on a staircase and develop a system with a high detection rate.

For the limitations of the traditional smart home system that the use range is limited to the near distance and the control mode is single, a design scheme of smart home control system based on Internet of things(IoT) is proposed. The system mainly consists of STC12 Microcontroller node, STM32 master controller and server. The node carries the controlled home devices and communicates with the master controller through NRF24L01 wireless radio frequency(RF) module; The master controller provides an operation interface and communicates with the server through Wi-Fi. The server deploys the website for users to access. The system can control the home locally by the master controller, and control the home, collect and display environmental information remotely by mobile phone or computer. The system has strong reliability, low power consumption and easy expansion.

This research introduces an innovative IoT-based Smart Irrigation system named WiFi Smart Irrigation (WiFiSI) that leverages advanced sensors and communication technologies to optimize irrigation practices. The system incorporates a diverse set of sensors, including the SEM225 RS485 Soil Moisture sensor, DS18B20 Digital Temperature sensor, AM2302 Humidity sensor, JXCT Soil NPK sensor, 6025 Chlorophyll sensor, LDR (Light Dependent Resistor), and a GSM module. The SEM225 RS485 Soil Moisture sensor provides accurate soil moisture data, while the DS18B20 Digital Temperature sensor and AM2302 Humidity sensor monitor ambient conditions. The JXCT Soil NPK sensor assesses soil nutrient levels, and the 6025 Chlorophyll sensor evaluates plant health. Additionally, the LDR helps gauge light intensity, aiding in determining optimal irrigation periods. The WiFiSI system integrates these sensors to collect real-time data, which is then processed and analyzed to make informed irrigation decisions. Through a WiFi connection, the system enables remote monitoring and control, allowing users to access data and adjust irrigation settings from anywhere. The inclusion of a GSM module ensures connectivity even in areas with limited WiFi coverage, enhancing system reliability. The proposed Smart Irrigation system aims to improve water efficiency, minimize resource wastage, and enhance crop yield by providing farmers with actionable insights into soil and environmental conditions. The multi-sensor integration, coupled with IoT capabilities, empowers precision agriculture, making irrigation practices more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

The integration of multiple sensors and advanced technologies in the field of vehicle safety and security has emerged as a promising approach to enhance overall road safety and protect vehicles from potential threats. This paper presents a comprehensive study on the concept of synergistic multi-sensor fusion for advanced vehicle safety and security, focusing on the integration of cutting-edge technologies and intelligent systems. The proposed framework involves fusing data from various sensors to obtain a comprehensive and accurate perception of the vehicle’s surroundings and safety of the driver. By combining the strengths of each sensor, the system overcomes individual limitations and provides robust detection and recognition capabilities. Firstly, it enables accurate and timely detection of potential hazardous gas, infront nearest obstacle detection, accident identification this allowing the vehicle to take proactive measures to avoid collisions. Secondly, it enhances security by detecting and mitigating threats, such as fingerprint-based security system, theft alert. Additionally, the integration of intelligent systems enables driver safety measure based on driver heart rate monitoring, fire detection, current location detection and prone zone vehicle control. This paper highlights the significance of synergistic multi-sensor fusion in advancing vehicle safety and security. The integration of advanced technologies and intelligent systems enables robust detection, recognition, and decision-making capabilities, contributing to a safer and more secure driving experience.

A Weather Monitoring Station being an efficient application of Internet of Things (loT) which measures the surrounding temperature, pressure, humidity and rainfall. To capture these measurements various sensors, like DHT11, BMP180, LDR and rain sensor are utilized in proposed research.. These sensors interface with the Blynk website and app to provide a platform for establishing control of the ESP-8266 microcontroller through an Android application. With Blynk user interface users can easily access real time data. The esp8266 acts as the systems mainboard by consolidating data from all sensors and transmitting it to the Blynk app platform via a laptop.

A high-precision automatic assembly system based on laser positioning is proposed for workpiece installation. Position correction and precise positioning of the AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) and the workpieces carried by the PSD (Position Sensitive Device) photoelectric position sensor. The linear motor above the AGV trolley is used to push the workpiece to be mounted, and the coordinates of the workpiece in the spatial three-dimensional coordinate system are extracted through the PSD combined with the laser distance measuring sensors to obtain information on the position and angular deviation of the workpiece. Its installation trajectory is tracked according to the control algorithm, and the workpiece is double calibrated according to the sensors, so as to realize the high-precision automatic alignment assembly of the transported workpiece. The experimental results show that the solution can realize the automatic assembly of workpieces using AGV and effectively improve the accuracy of workpiece installation.

UAV-borne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) has played an important role in the field of military reconnaissance, due to its advantages such as strong survivability, high resolution and high flexibility. Distributed interactive simulation technology to evaluate the combat effectiveness of the UAV-borne SAR has become a hot research issue. In this paper, a distributed data interaction interface, namely SARDDS, based on data distribution service (DDS) has been proposed to satisfy the requirements of high real time and high throughput of data interaction in the distributed simulation architecture of UAV-borne SAR. The data interaction interface follows the development specification of QualNet simulator and adopts publish-subscribe communication mode to realize the data interaction between various modules of the distributed simulation system. Experimental results verify the high real time and high throughput of the designed interface, which is of great significance to the distributed simulation for the UAV-borne SAR combat effectiveness evaluation.
