In the expansive realm of the Internet of Things (IoT), ensuring the reliability of sensor data, particularly in level sensing applications, is paramount. This research introduces a pioneering solution-a generalized anomaly detection algorithm rooted in supervised machine learning principles. Our algorithm, diverging from traditional rule-based systems, leverages labeled training data to dynamically adapt to unique patterns across diverse sensors. Live data, with a focus on level sensors, forms the cornerstone of our research, enhancing the algorithm’s learning capabilities for precise anomaly identification in various operational environments. Practically implementing our algorithm involves the systematic storage and management of sensor data in a MySQL database. This dual-purpose database supports both the algorithm’s training and testing phases and serves as a historical repository for continuous refinement, ensuring ongoing adaptability to changing sensor behaviors. Simultaneously, we introduce a user-friendly dashboard, empowering end-users with actionable insights derived from anomaly detection. This visualization tool provides a comprehensive overview of sensor data, anomaly occurrences, and system health, facilitating rapid decision-making and proactive intervention. Our research pioneers a breakthrough in anomaly detection for level sensor data with a generalized algorithm grounded in supervised machine learning. By leveraging live data, a robust MySQL database, and an intuitive dashboard, our approach stands at the forefront of AI-based anomaly detection, offering adaptability across sensors and applications. This research not only advances level sensing but also establishes a foundation for a more efficient paradigm in anomaly detection across diverse sensors and IoT devices.

Energy availability is one of the main constraints in the design of wireless sensor nodes for the monitoring of water distribution systems. Harvesting energy from the ambient environment has received increasing attention in modern research due to the fact that it can significantly prolong the lifetime of sensor nodes. However, power management is still a critical issue because power generation rates are random and vary over time. data compression is a powerful tool for use in reducing the energy consumption by the sensor by reducing the number of transmitted bits. Additionally, adaptive data compression can address the trade-offs between data quality and energy consumption. In this paper, we propose a framework for adaptive data compression based on prediction techniques to adapt to energy harvested power generation. Our objective is to minimize the average distortion of the compressed data in the long run under the energy variations. We optimize this objective by tuning the compression algorithm subject to energy availability. The problem of optimizing the desired tradeoffs between data quality and energy saved is subject to power availability and event criticality is formulated and solved via a Markov Decision Process (MDP).

As multi-sensor technology advances and data storage and processing capabilities improve, multi-sensor signals can provide a more comprehensive and multi-angle data perspective. This improves the reliability of fault diagnosis. The data of multiple sensors belongs to non-Euclidean data. Traditional neural network methods are very effective in processing Euclidean data. However, they have difficulties in processing non-Euclidean data and cannot fully utilize the structural information and similarity between sensors. On the other hand, graph neural network methods can handle nonEuclidean data, but most graph data inputs lack practical physical meaning. To address this issue, this paper presents a graph construction method based on space and similarity (SS method), which models multi-sensor data as graph data. This method can fully utilize the structural features between sensors, giving the graph data practical physical meaning. Then graph aggregation is performed on a batch of graph data samples. And the DeeperGCN model is applied to extract signal features, achieving recognition of the health status of aircraft engine bearings. Experiments have shown that this method can significantly improve the effectiveness of fault diagnosis.

The privacy protection and information security are two crucial issues for future advanced artificial intelligence devices, especially for cooperative system with rich core data exchange which may offer opportunities for attackers to fake interaction messages. To combat such threat, great efforts have been made by introducing trust mechanism in initiative or passive way. Furthermore, blockchain and distributed ledger technology provide a decentralized and peer-to-peer network, which has great potential application for multi-agent system, such as IoTs and robots. It eliminates third-party interference and data in the blockchain are stored in an encrypted way permanently and anti-destroys. In this paper, a methodology of blockchain is proposed and designed for advanced cooperative system with artificial intelligence to protect privacy and sensitive data exchange between multi-agents. The validation procedure is performed in laboratory by a three-level computing networks of Raspberry Pi 3B+, NVIDIA Jetson Tx2 and local computing server for a robot system with four manipulators and four binocular cameras in peer computing nodes by Go language.

BIX is an XML standard for the data exchange between sensed data of the information arising on the spot and database. The nutrimental components in plants are important information for the diagnosis and the cultivation control of the agricultural products. Application of mid-infrared (MIR) spectroscopic and the X-ray fluorescent (XRF) spectroscopy to the simple, non-destructive, simultaneous, and rapid monitoring of the nutrient information of fresh plants is desirable as the high potential implements. The both spectroscopic methods provide substantial potential as the quantitative tools in the fields for the chemical components relating to the plant vigor. Since it is necessary to take an accurate grasp of the quality change in time and to make a suitable cultivation management for the change, we also carried on research of ldquothe development of BIX Image Broker System (BIX-IBS)rdquo and ldquothe remote monitoring of color of agricultural products for evaluating the qualityrdquo. BIX has to determine a standard not only for data acquisition and exchange but also for data storage, concentration and handling.

Passive millimeter-wave imager (PMI) technology provides a powerful sensor capability for military and commercial imaging applications in adverse weather. Recent advances in high-frequency antennas, MMW electronics, and high-speed signal processing, have brought real-time, high-contrast, high-resolution, wide-field of view PMI into the realm of technological feasibility. However, the prohibitive cost and volume of previous PMI architectures have proved impractical for all but a few scientific implementations. This situation has precluded PMI usage in several applications with demonstrable benefits, such as aircraft landing, and radio-silent airborne surveillance/battle damage assessment. A new PMI architecture has been demonstrated with a high frame rate (30 Hz) with order of magnitude reductions in cost and volume relative to previous designs. Highlights of this new PMI architecture will be presented along with examples of video-rate imaging data representing its current capability for airborne imaging.

The conceptualization of a new manufacturing and repair system began in 199l. This paper explains how the system of 1991 evolved into the system of 1996. The original system proposed consolidating diverse activities into a single, modern facility, built especially for the repair of electronic modules. Management's role was to coordinate all activities from a central point and repair technicians would be given the tools to communicate with all relevant systems. Only a portion of the similar activities have been consolidated into one building. Management decided that oversight, not control, was a goal that all systems did not need to be fully integrated. The original concept envisioned mainframes for central control. LANs, cable, and fiber optics were the connecting links for workstations and other systems. Technicians would enter data, support systems would supply technical and managerial information and databases would accumulate data and produce information. Support systems would schedule work and deliver items to the work areas, as required, without human intervention. Personnel would be free to devote their time to value added tasks. As the system developed, management realized that people needed stress relief and social contact. People needed to leave their work area for breaks; therefore, they created reasons to leave their work area, such as manually scheduling workload or going to the storage location to query the operator about a specific part and then hand carry that part back to the workbench. Full integration of support systems with io-MARs is coming with Internet and Netscape, a new technology not envisioned in the original plans. End item tracking, automated storage and retrieval recording of repair processes; and some integration to outside systems have been completed. optical Character Recognition (OCR) techniques have made significant advances in recent years using new approaches such as Transformers for Latin languages. However, research on low-resource languages like Farsi is still relatively scarce. One of the reasons for this is the complex nature of Farsi script, which poses unique challenges for OCR. Farsi OCR is essential for various applications, such as document management, digital archiving, and automated data entry. In the context of this investigation, we presents a deep neural network that utilizes transformer architecture for the recognition of Farsi words, yielding promising results. Additionally, we assess the effectiveness of our method through a comparison with state-of-the-art techniques on two datasets namely, Shotor and Sadri, achieving accuracy rates of 99.75% and 99.23%, respectively. Our results outperform previous methods and highlight the potential of transformer-based approaches for Farsi OCR.

We propose a method for directional control of the shift selectivity of the speckle-multiplexed holograms using the holographic diffuser whose surface profile varies with the orthogonal direction. The method improves the tolerance of the spatial multiplexed holograms for the repositioning error in the holographic storage. In addition, we utilize the nature that the shift selectivity in the propagation direction of the reference beam is intrinsically relaxed, and experimentally implement the spatial arrangement of the multiplexed holograms in both the “controlled” and the “intrinsically relaxed” directions. We show that the high quality output is obtained using our method by the measurement of the BER of the data-pages that are retrieved from the spatially arranged multiple holograms.
