This article presents an algorithm for determining reference brightness correction coefficients to improve image quality. The algorithm utilizes a combination of statistical analysis and image processing techniques to identify and correct brightness discrepancies in digital images. By establishing a robust and efficient method for calculating these coefficients, the algorithm aims to enhance the overall visual fidelity of images across various applications, such as photography, medical imaging, and remote sensing. The proposed algorithm demonstrates its effectiveness through experimental results and comparisons with existing methods, highlighting its potential for practical implementation in image processing workflows. In the world, the filtering of digital images by the convolution method with a pulse characteristic in the spectral region scientific research is being conducted to improve the quality level of digital television images, methods for modeling filtration processes and highly efficient control systems in a number of priority areas, including: on the formation of mathematical models of filtration processes, improving the methods of wavelet, Fourier, Haar, Walsh-Hadamard, Karhunen-Loev in increasing the clarity and brightness of images based on linear and nonlinear differential equations;creation of methods for eliminating additive, pulsed and adaptive-Gaussian types of noise in images using additive and adaptive filtering;methods of algorithms and software for introducing intra-frame and interframe image transformations;methods of adaptive brightness system control using the Chebyshev matrix series;methods of gradient, static and Laplace methods for image segmentation and dividing it into contours;formation of criteria and conditions for evaluating image quality. Conducting scientific research in the above research areas confirms the relevance of the topic of this article. © 2024 SPIE. All rights reserved.

A digital computational platform is proposed for processing fluorescence spectroscopy data, which implements complex analysis of experimental information based on the simulation modelling and machine learning algorithms. Data analysis includes partitioning biophysical data into clusters according to the degree of likeness in some measure of similarity, finding the median cluster members (medoids), applying a dimensionality reduction method and visualizing the experimental data in a two-dimensional space. Analysis of the medoids is carried out by analytical or simulation models of optical processes occurring in molecular systems. The visualization of data clusters in the original and transformed feature spaces is done with the aim of user interaction. As a demonstrative example, the platform FluorSimStudio is implemented for processing time-resolved fluorescence measurements (https://***/FluorSimStudio ). The digital platform is an open system and allows addition of complex analysis models, taking into account the development of new modelling and analysis algorithms. © 2022, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

This article is about a comparative analysis of two algorithms designed for generating zero-sum sequences, which have unique applications in signal processing, cryptography, and artificial intelligence. The research focuses on the estimation of the performance and efficiency of these algorithms under different conditions. Along with this comparison, this article aims to expand our understanding of the theoretical basics of zero-sum sequence generation. The practical application of this research is to optimize these algorithms for real-world applications, so, their efficiency in a practical way will be improved. Also, another purpose of this research is to find advantages and disadvantages in each algorithm, providing valuable information for further exploration in this important area of science and technology. By finding more information from this comparative efficiency of these algorithms, this work helps to increase knowledge in the area of development of more effective algorithms for zero-sum sequence generation. Such results can have a lot of potential applications in several areas of application, for example, communication systems and data security.

During the process of attacking the target, the artillery shell not only moves in a straight line but also has micro-motions such as spin and conical rotation, which produce micro-Doppler modulation on the echo signal and limit the effectiveness of conventional signal detection algorithms. To eliminate the influence of micro-motion, a warhead motion model is built based on the actual situation. The model determines the positional relationship between the fuze and the target by establishing multiple three-dimensional coordinate systems. It also determines the transformation between coordinate systems according to Rodrigues' rotation formula. Based on the created model, we focused on analysing the micro-Doppler frequency shift caused by micro-motions such as spin, conical rotation, precession, and nutation. The accuracy of the model is verified by simulation analysis, which lays the foundation for using millimeter wave fuze to measure speed and distance. © The Institution of Engineering & Technology 2023.

Wireless traffic prediction in wireless communication networks holds significant application value for optimizing resource allocation. However, precise prediction faces numerous challenges due to traffic complexity, diversity, and dynamics. Complex spatiotemporal dependencies exist between regional base stations, requiring accurate capture. Traditional centralized methods necessitate centralized storage and processing of substantial user data, posing high privacy risks and potential leaks. This paper proposes a wireless traffic prediction model combining federated learning and differential privacy to capture fused spatiotemporal features of base stations and enhance predictive performance. Concurrently, existing federated learning systems have been proven to harbor potential threats during the training phase, endangering data privacy. This paper tackles privacy threats by adaptively pruning to safeguard data privacy, achieving privacy protection. Experimental results demonstrate that this model outperforms mainstream algorithms in prediction accuracy and privacy protection, showcasing broad application prospects. © 2024 SPIE.

InfiniBand interconnect network is widely used in parallel computing. Network adapter (HCA) is one of the necessary hardware components for architecture deployment. With the expansion of nodes in parallel computing system, InfiniBand network may have higher performance requirements. However, the current InfiniBand network uses deterministic routing, and adaptive routing can be introduced to meet higher requirements. Because the original InfiniBand protocol is strictly sequence-preserving, adding adaptive routes to the network improves performance but requires out-of-order rearrangement of network cards, which requires a certain cache capability. In this paper, the function extension of InfiniBand protocol is designed to realize the adaptive function and complete the modeling and simulation. Two indexes related to out-of-order are also designed in this paper, and the direct influence of adaptive routing on packet out-of-order and network adapter buffer depth is studied from many aspects. Through the simulation of the above system, the experimental result of All-to-All communication between model nodes shows that under the Greedy and RoundRobin adaptive port selection algorithms, the buffer depth required by the network card is 61 and 62 2KB of packet space, respectively. This provides an estimate of the buffer that the network card needs to handle out-of-order packets. © 2024 SPIE.

The need for faster and more efficient methods to write and read information remains high, while electronics has reached limits regarding speed and miniaturization. Light switching presents an ideal candidate for both, high speed and low consumption logic devices: fast and broadband all-optical modulation via nonlinear optics has been already shown in atomically thin materials, such as graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) [1,2]. A further advantage of TMDs for information processing is the availability of the valley degree of freedom. Due to their honeycomb lattice structure and time-reversal symmetry, TMDs have energy degenerate, but non-equivalent valleys at the K/K′ points of the Brillouin zone. An imbalance between the K/K′ valleys, called valley polarization (VP), can be used to read, write and store information at the nanoscale. Excitons can be selectively excited (write state), either via one-photon or two-photon absorption (TPA) [3], due to specific valley selection rules within the dipole approximation (see Fig. 1). The detection of VP (read) is mainly based on photoluminescence (PL), which has the disadvantages of being invasive and recording an average VP over a long time scale. Recently, second harmonic generation (SHG) has been proposed as a novel ultrafast and non-destructive method, thus overcoming both drawbacks [4]. The polarization of the emitted SHG rotates depending on the magnitude of the VP. © 2023 IEEE.
