The greatest benefit of Webit is without a doubt that it enables a standard connection to non-PC devices using the Internet. Since the use of Webit opens a new method for maintaining and supervising non-PC devices, it has become a helpful tool for users to control and manage devices remotely. Webit actualizes the connection between non-PC devices and Internet, thus all kinds of devices around us may be controlled and accessed over the Internet through a standard Web browser. In this paper, we introduce the reasons that why provide Internet connectivity for non-PC devices. We present the architecture of Webit that can support Internet connectivity for non-PC devices. We also present how to design and implement it and finally compare the results of Webit's performance and other similar Internet servers.

Accurate and rapid anomaly detection of train control systems is an inevitable requirement for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of high-speed railways. Currently, the manual offline fault diagnosis has issues such as ineffectiveness in fault locating and a relatively large scope of fault impact. In response, an anomaly detection model based on multimodal learning with the attention mechanism is proposed. According to the interrelated relationship between text logs and visual images representing equipment working status, a language-vision fusion two-stream multimodal neural network learning architecture is designed. The entire network structure, centred on the attention mechanism, learns the mapping relationship between inputs and outputs, simultaneously processes log generation of multiple sub-equipment, and separately focuses on the context of the text and changes in indicator light display at specific positions on the visual images. At the final decision-making layer, the learning results of language and vision are organically fused through logical operations, producing a unified output indicating the anomalous state of the system. Experimental results on real train operation datasets demonstrate the model’s superior performance in terms of precision and recall compared to other methods, validating its effectiveness. © 2024, The Authors. all rights reserved.

A crucial challenge for future mobile networks is to enable wide range of scenarios and use cases for different devices spanning from simple sensors to advanced machines or users devices. Such requirements call for highly flexible and scalable radio access network (RAN). To provide high flexibility and scalability in dynamic scenarios, flying base stations (FlyBSs), i.e., base stations mounted on general unmanned aerial vehicles, can be integrated into RAN. In this paper, implementation and operational issues related to the FlyBSs are discussed. Additionally scenarios where the FlyBS can be profitable are outlined. Furthermore, we define the architecture of a flying RAN (FlyRAN) encompassing the FlyBSs and enabling real-time control of whole RAN so that it can dynamically adapt to users' movement and changes in their communication activity. Our results show the superior efficiency of FlyBSs comparing to an ultra-dense deployment of static base stations (BSs) for a realistic scenario with moving users. Our simulations suggest that one FlyBS can provide throughput comparable to static BSs deployed with density corresponding to inter-site distance of 45 meters. At the same time, energy efficiency of the communication for the user equipment can be improved more than 5-times. This indicates that integration of the FlyBSs into mobile networks can be an efficient alternative to ultra-dense small cell deployment, especially in scenarios with users moving in crowds.

Recent advances in computational power, memory, display etc. have propelled mobile and hand held devices as a platform to display and execute a variety of applications. Popular platform vendors like Nokia S60, iPhone, Samsung and Android offer extensive middleware support which helps in developers' port and in packaging of different application modules in a suitable format. These devices have several features like processing power, memory, energy, which exhibit the ability of these devices for performing complex tasks. Nowadays multi core processor architecture like Quad-Core Processor up to 3.0 GHz and Java enabled Android operating systems mobile devices are coming into the market which have potential for support and enhancements for an enterprise. In a complex and critical real time production support enterprise environment, a middleware production support analyst is primarily responsible to access, analyze the performance and control the middleware production application servers in a faster and precise manner. Production support analyst may or may not be available to Unix Production servers at all times due to many reasons. In this work a novel approach, Performance Analysis of Middleware distributed and clustered systems (PAMS), is proposed using Android application by which a production support analyst can still support all critical real time web based application servers while he is away from the Unix based Middleware application server and can ensure that the same is available and accessible to their customers. An Android based application is proposed which will communicate to higher production layers installed in secure network of an organization and gather the data for performance monitoring and analysis. The embedded devices that serve as the basic element for the IoT are reportedly increasing. Such devices are widely used provided that they are equipped with limited CPU, storage and battery. Some of the famous applications of IoT are online video streaming, sensing, tracking, manufacturing, smart homes and cars and many more. Most of these applications are time critical where immediate response to the input is needed in order to maintain the quality of service. Moreover, the merging of IoT with existing network architecture (and protocols) face many issues like reliability and availability of the network. The software and hardware aspects of IoT have widely been studied. On the software perspective, TCP is one of the leading protocols in the Internet. However, it creates a single connection between two devices, which decreases the availability of the Internet access to IoT devices in case of connection failure or error. A new protocol that increases the availability of the network by creating multiple connections between two devices is the SCTP (Stream control Transmission Protocol). This paper provides the details of the use of multiple connections between two devices through SCTP. Experimentation is performed to evaluate the protocol on a multipath connection scenario where connection failures are common. The retransmission is required due to the connection failure or other errors. The results suggest that the SCTP is very suitable for the IoT devices that collaborate with the existing Internet because it re-establishes the connections quickly. The delay is measured to see the transmission delay caused by the retransmission of data. For the retransmission of the data three policies of the SCTP are compared. The experiments also conclude that the use of RTX-LOSSRATE retransmission policy of SCTP improves the transmission throughput.

Dental specialists can utilize all-encompassing and periapical radiographs to analyze the most widely recognized dental sicknesses, like dental caries, which is normally analyzed physically. To stay away from these downsides, PC based astute vision frameworks with machine are expected to learn the picture handling methods. In view of periapical pictures, this study offers an exceptional methodology for the programmed distinguishing proof of dental caries. A Multi-Input Deep Convolutional Neural network Ensemble (MI-DCNNE) model has been used for the proposed procedure. To improve the performance of the suggested MI-DCNNE approach, a score-based ensemble strategy is used. Raw periapical pictures and an upgraded version of them are used as inputs to the suggested method. The proposed multi-input CNN architecture's Softmax layer is used to do the score fusion for the show appraisal of the proposed technique. In the experiments HCY, periapical pictures (340 photos) containing both caries and non-caries images are examined. This approach gives off an impression of finding success in the ID of dental caries, as indicated by the discoveries. The precision score is accounted to be 99.13 percent. Therefore, MI-DCNNE successfully aids in diagnosing dental caries, as demonstrated by the findings.

The Federal Aviation Administration's (FAAs) controller-pilot data link communications (CPDLC) Build 1 system began initial daily use (IDU) at Miami Air Route Traffic control Center (ARTCC) on October 7, 2002. CPDLC utilizes the aeronautical telecommunications network (ATN) and very high frequency digital link (VDL) mode 2 to transmit digital messages between air traffic controllers and pilots in specially equipped aircraft. In addition to the FAA and the Miami ARTCC, stakeholders include ARINC, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA), the United States Air Force, Rockwell Collins, and Teledyne. CPDLC Build 1 consists of four basic services: transfer of communications (TOC) for directing a pilot to change the assigned voice frequency; initial contact (IC) for verification of the pilot's assigned altitude; altimeter setting (AS) for uplinking barometric pressure data, and menu text (MT) for uplinking a predefined set of text messages. These services are invoked through five message types: contact; monitor, usually combined with confirm assigned level (CAL); "independent" CAL; altimeter setting; and menu text. CPDLC Build 1 was to have been the first step in an evolution of data link capabilities that would eventually provide data link services to all centers through a series of builds intended to keep pace with similar developments in Europe. It was planned to be a limited duration, single site implementation to prove the viability of CPDLC procedures and capabilities, to be followed by the national deployment of CPDLC Build 1A. However, in April 2003, the FAA's Joint Resources Council (JRC) decided to defer CPDLC Build 1A, but directed the CPDLC team to prepare a sustainment plan for continued Build 1 operations in Miami. The objective of this paper is to put forward a discussion of how a better understanding of the issues surrounding control can be an important element in the development of generativity strategies in business models for mobile platforms, such as Apple's iPhone. Generativity refers to “a technology's overall capacity to produce unprompted change driven by large, varied, and uncoordinated audiences” [29]. In this paper generativity is defined as the ability of a self-contained system to create, generate, or produce new content, structure, or behaviour without additional help or input from the original creators [23]. Although generativity is at the core of Apple's expansion model, the company has to keep a tight control on the innovation platforms in order to protect their revenue sources, whilst at the same time ensuring that this does not stifle third party development and the innovation of compelling services. This is part achieved by the controlling access to the platform through the App Store for all actors of the platform ecosystem. It is possible to analyse the relationships between Apple and the other actors of the Apple Mobile Platform and identify through a longitudinal analysis of control the formation of strategies that balance or shift the control between actors, which gives further insight on possible sources of revenue based on the value network defined for such control points.

Amalgamation of multiple signal transmission through a singular medium is the paramount advantage offered in the Powerline communications (PLC) architecture. We propose a PLC paradigm, which allows for one receiver to control all types of signals, effectively delineating a universal communication system. Firstly, when different types of signals are received on power lines the receiver needs intelligent channel estimation for decoupling these signals. An intelligent blind channel estimation scheme is proposed for achieving this. Secondly the received signals (telephone, broadband, radio, television etc.,) need to be classified and routed to the appropriate devices. To accomplish this we propose a novel optimized coulomb energy neural network (OCENN) for classification of incoming signals. Experimental results over real time PLC low voltage system shows that the Universal Powerline Receiver (UPR) achieves a throughput of 75 mbps, 63 mbps and 56 mbps at SNR of 30 dB for the data, telephone and television transmissions respectively. Comparative analysis of UPR with existing state of art OFDM and FMT modems is presented, which shows UPR as a viable prospective option.

Recently, wireless sensor nodes (WSNs) are often powered by batteries, and there are significant restrictions on the locations where the nodes may be deployed, the number of deployable devices that can be used, and the node lifetime. The rapid, low-cost, and widespread deployment of battery-free IoT sensors may be achieved with wireless power transfer (WPT). However, ensuring that the harvested power is more than the used power in the event of significant WPT path loss is a crucial design problem for WPT-supplied smart sensors. In this article, we present an architecture of a sensor system that uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication and an RF source to power environmental monitoring. RF power harvester, power management, sensing, control, and wireless transmission are all implemented utilizing low-power off-the-shelf components. The effective duty cycle is used in the system sensor to produce the low rate of the center. With fixed power RF as low as -10.9 dBm, the deployed smart sensor can operate dependably. The systemdependent variable has an average resting power of 4.3 W and can transmit up to 30 event packets an hour.
