In 5G networks, as growing data usage exponentially, mobile operators need to increase network capacity. To increase the spectral efficiency of massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system, it is essential to enlarge the number of co-scheduled user equipments (UEs). As increasing the number of co-scheduled UEs up to the number of base station (BS) antennas, the conventional linear precoding schemes such as zero-forcing and maximum ratio transmission show poor capacity, as shown in Fig. 1. As a result, joint user selection, power allocation, and beamforming schemes, including the rank-adaptation zero-forcing (RA-ZF) and generalized power iteration precoding (GPIP) algorithms, are proposed for large-scale massive MIMO systems. However, the prior works on massive MIMO baseband architectures [1]-[4] are no longer suitable for these advanced algorithms;because they do not consider user selection or power allocation. Consequently, it is crucial to develop energy-and computationally efficient BS architecture that realizes the advanced algorithms to achieve a high spectral efficiency gain. © 2022 IEEE.

With the fast growing of education informatics, academic evaluation is important for university study life. It bring a series of research questions, including the research about Elearning behavior which is one of hot issues in it. Meanwhile, the modern education attaches importance to Individualized cultivation. More subjective opinions are collected from the students. Thus, automatic inferring academic behavior is gradually becoming the key of perfecting academic evaluation system (AES). In the paper, we collect the academic evaluation information from the online platform of Hohai University. According to the overall opinions, we give the labels to the detail textual comments. A two-stage network is designed and implemented for subjective text analysis and screening the final answers. The former stage is based on bidirectional long and short term memory (LSTM) networks to output a soft label for each sub-sentence. According to the total number of the questions, we locate their answers, and product the inputs of deep forests by cascading their predicted soft labels. Based on cascade forest structure, multi-level forests are reweighted by the forests' contributions. A level-wise growing strategy is used to control the cascade level of the entire structure. Experiment results demonstrate our work are competent for a kernel approach of AES. Meanwhile, we capture many problems in the teaching and learning processes, which are easy to be ignored in the conventional questions and answers (QA) step, and offer some constructive suggestions for the future of smart campus systems. © 2021 Computer Society of the Republic of China. all rights reserved.

In industrial Internet systems, data is the core, networks are the foundation, and security is the guarantee. In order to achieve the overall goal of upgrading industrial Internet technology, efficiently utilizing production factors and improving the level of Internet industry, the emerging technology of Internet scenario networking has emerged, which links and integrates all elements of the industrial production process. This paper is based on the existing networking mode of industrial Internet and explores the fusion networking mode of 5G+time-sensitive networking (TSN), analyzes the enhanced technology of 5G+new radio (NR) basic configuration. We strive to meet the requirements of industrial Internet scenarios with the optimal resource allocation strategy and improve the success rate of executing computing tasks in Internet systems. And we promote the deep integration of TSN technology and 5G technology, and lay the foundation for adapting to the trend of industrial Internet scenario networking. The advantages of combining edge-cloud fusion computing technology with elastic optical transport network in terms of migration delay, migration cost, and resource balance are verified through the example of industrial automated guided vehicles (AGVs).

Current DoD requirements call for a single enterprise terminal supporting up to 48/96 (threshold/objective) transmit and 56/112 (threshold/objective) receive communications carriers, not considering future expansion. The number of links supported by an enterprise terminal dictates aggregate servicing capacity. A single teleport/standardized tactical entry point (STEP) site can consist of five or more terminals operating in several frequency bands. Each carrier requires individual converter and modem chains, which are linked to the antennas with a complex switch matrix subsystem. This architecture results in severe size, weight, and power (SWAP) constraints that limit expansion to support objective capacity and connectivity requirements within available facility space and infrastructure. By moving the digital conversion as close to the antenna as possible, a number of efficiencies in SWAP and performance can be achieved. The individual converters can be replaced with wideband, multi-carrier digital up and down converters co-located with the antenna. The complex switch matrix can be eliminated and replaced with a lightweight digital distribution system. The modem functions can be consolidated into a multi-card enclosure, where several carriers can be implemented on a single programmable processor card. In addition to reducing terminal complexity and SWAP, this approach also enables concepts such as hybrid mesh networks, decentralized power monitoring and control, and remote terminal control. This has the potential to dramatically increase satellite network efficiency and improve utilization of expensive satellite assets. This paper expands upon preliminary work performed to date at CERDEC.

With emerging applications in packet-transport networks such as IP-over-WDM networks (e.g., eBanking), packets need to be delivered within a bounded delay (i.e., given deadlines) with high probability. To satisfy such requirement, we propose an Inbuilt-Burstification Urgency-driven Scheduling (iBUS) Algorithm in IP-over-WDM networks. In this approach, packets are assembled into bursts according to their destinations by a preset timer. The timing burstification can reduce the amount of contentions, and support deadline constraints. Then all assembled bursts need to be scheduled efficiently with the deadline constraint. We introduce the concept of urgency degree as a scheduling metric. Bursts are scheduled according to their urgency degrees so that utilization of available network resources can be maximized under the constraint of deadlines. We also study a high-level variant of our algorithm, beta -iBUS, where the parameter beta is used to truncate the acceptable range of urgency degrees [0, 1] into [0, beta ] (where beta les 1) so that invalid scheduling caused by high urgency degrees can be minimized. Simulation experiments demonstrate that our proposal can achieve limited loss probabilities with the constraint of bounded delay.

network performance increase does not have to be associated only with the upgrade of existing infrastructure and devices. More effective and less expensive increase of network performance can be achieved via sophisticated improvement of existing protocols, mainly at network and transport layer. The aim of this paper is to introduce our new approach for solving network performance issues which occur mostly due to congestion. New approach called Advanced Notification Congestion System (ACNS) allows TCP flows prioritization based on the TCP flow age and carried priority in the header of the network layer protocol. The main aim is to provide more bandwidth for young and high prioritized TCP flows by means of penalizing old greedy flows with a low priority. Using ACNS, substantial network performance increase can be achieved.

In some of the industries, textural classification is one of the most important and challenging problem. Among all, the stone industries has to deal with such issues more often. Many a times the buyer receives different rocks due to the fact that the visual appearance of some of the rocks is so similar that it creates confusion. This paper proposes a resolution invariant Convolutional Neural network (CNN) architecture by improving different aspects of the network, including designing of layer, loss functions, activation function, regularization and optimization to extract the intrinsic features from the small granite image patches. These extracted features will help in patches classification and will make the proposed network capable of proving itselfin uncontrolled environmental conditions and will also resolveanykind of misunderstanding. The network is trained from the scratch and has outperformed the existing first data driven technique with a well-known data set.

Water is essential for life as it is a major life sustaining liquid all living things need. Humans and other living creatures must ingest water for survival. Sources of drinking water in Nigeria include rivers and streams, lakes, springs, rainwater, groundwater from boreholes, tap water from authorities where water utility companies are still functional. The source of drinking water is very important as water meant for drinking may contain elements that could be dangerous to human health. Despite NAFDAC efforts to control adulterated products and control quality standards, the continuous confiscation of different products of which drinking water products is also included is a clear message that a lot still have to be done to monitor and track the water quality of water company products. This research work hopes to bridge these gaps of providing regular information of water quality details of any water company by designing a water quality tracking system with wireless sensor network (WSN) capability for remote tracking water production system from water related products so that these data cannot be tempered with. The hardware design involves the design of the sensor nodes, processor, communication and WSN architecture. The program for the sensor node processor stage and base station receiver processor was written in Arduino program. The sensor outputs were connected to the Arduino microcontroller to convert their analog output to digital information. The Arduino was connected to the LoRa transceiver module. After connection of all stages the system was powered and relevant tests were performed. Results indicate that 80% of the average borehole water sample pH levels meet the international standard. The average TDS levels for both the borehole water (135.75ppm) and the sachet water (142.67ppm) pass (100%) the WHO maximum of 500ppm. Recommendations were made for future work.

The healthcare industry's transition to online platforms in recent years has brought attention to privacy, scalability difficulties, and data security. Blockchain technology, renowned for its segregated, impregnable, and unchangeable characteristics, arises as a feasible resolution for these urgent problems. In order to manage the drug supply chain and exchange EHRs (Electronic Health Records), a novel framework is presented in this paper. Scalability, security, traceability, data integrity, and safe data sharing are all taken care of by the system. With a focus on patient-centric healthcare, the framework implements a hierarchical structure with five layers and transactions. This is accomplished by giving patients broad access control over their medical records. This access enables more efficient operations, such as insurance claims, while upholding strong security safeguards. Our parallelism technique reduces network traffic while significantly improving scalability and transaction throughput. The Caliper benchmark performance tests show a slight rise in CPU usage for certain transactions, although parallelization significantly reduces this. The RAM needs remain relatively constant. In addition, our approach significantly decreases network congestion while increasing transaction processing speed thrice. The framework guarantees patient information confidentiality, data accuracy and consistency, user access management, and the ability to exchange information with other healthcare systems by established standards. Furthermore, it offers clarity and immediate tracking of medication distribution, enabling decision-makers to make informed decisions based on practical information. Our framework establishes a vital standard for cutting-edge, adaptable, and protected solutions as healthcare progresses.

As time goes on and technology gets better, various data-sharing technologies are becoming more and more integrated into many different businesses. Therefore, data exchange and security are crucial for the data's value to be realized. Nevertheless, it is challenging to verify the authenticity of a basic data sharing method in order to detect electronic data usage traces. An further difficulty is the reluctance of data suppliers to provide their data. Employing Blockchain's distributed ledger, smart contract, data trust, and traceability features. For the purpose of facilitating secure access to data, this study introduces a blockchain-based data-sharing architecture that optimizes to circumvent the security and control issues associated with traditional centralized data sharing and administration. In addition, the research evaluates the practicality and safety of the prototype. Furthermore, this paper proposes a Secured Data Management Scheme (SDMS) that utilizes blockchain technology to optimize data sharing efficiency. To assess the efficacy of this model, it is cross-validated with the conventional Data Privacy Handler (DPH) method. While present centralized security solutions fail to meet security requirements in an IoT setting, blockchain technology provides a decentralized solution. Through the use of a blockchain and a WiFi-enabled network model, this article seeks to offer a secure communication framework for Internet of Things (IoT) devices. According to the results, attitudes and character quirks have a role in how the intelligence community plans to use a blockchain-based data-sharing model for integrating systems. This research demonstrated the viability of using blockchain technology in an intelligence community-centric data-sharing strategy.
