The evolution of wireless communication is poised for a major shift with the transition from 5G to 6G, a leap characterized by breakthroughs in speed, ultra-reliable low-latency communication, and AI-driven network optimization. This paper examines these advancements, focusing on sub-millisecond latency, terahertz spectrum utilization, and enhanced network capabilities tailored to industries such as smart infrastructure, healthcare, and autonomous vehicles. While 6G promises revolutionary improvements, it also presents new challenges, including increased computational complexity and energy demands, data privacy concerns, and efficient spectrum allocation. The proposed model aims to address these issues by integrating AI and machine learning for optimized resource management, resulting in a high-performance, cost-effective solution for real-time, data-intensive applications. To assess the model's effectiveness, comprehensive simulations and real-world trials will be conducted, measuring critical metrics such as network throughput, latency, reliability, and energy efficiency. This study offers an all-encompassing guide to understanding and harnessing the transformative potential of 6G technology, laying the groundwork for future wireless communication systems. © 2024 IEEE.

With the proposal of 'internet plus' and the penetration of Internet technology in all fields of society, the importance of communication information network security has become increasingly prominent. communication information data dissemination has brought unprecedented new challenges and problems to national security and social stability. According to the isolation and authentication requirements of information security protection of power grid enterprises, based on the research of the relevant smart grid business scenarios, system architecture and security requirements with wireless public network as the channel, the monitoring architecture of wireless public network channel for intelligent power distribution is designed, including the monitoring scheme of intelligent power distribution business terminal, system master station, wireless public network channel and other links. In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of power communication access network, encryption, authentication, isolation and other security protection measures are mainly adopted. Another important index to measure the network performance of power communication network is the quality of service ($Q_communication$S), which will be sacrificed at the cost of network security. This paper proposes a method of information system security situation assessment based on DM. Situation assessment is one of the most important measures to detect the security of information systems, which can provide power system security status information for managers. Managers can obtain the abnormal problems in the system and take targeted measures to improve the security performance of the system. © 2023 IEEE.

The fourth industrial revolution known as Industry 4.0 brings digitalization of manufacturing processes to a new level through ubiquitous interconnection and real-time information flow between information technologies (IT) and operational technologies (OT) as parts of Industrial control systems (ICS). This information flow is not limited to but expands beyond factory walls enabling manufacturing systems to adapt quickly and efficiently to changing customer demands and diversified products. The adaptation is carried out through physical and/or functional reconfiguration of manufacturing systems where Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) based on Cyber-Physical systems (CPS) represents the key technical enabler. These changes result in a transition from centralized to distributed control systems architecture where the whole control task is achieved through intensive cooperation between smart devices (e.g., sensors and actuators) with integrated communication and computation capabilities. However, introducing IIoT in ICS brings about new cybersecurity issues due to increased communication between system elements and connection to the global network, making ICS vulnerable to different cyber-attacks with potentially catastrophic consequences. Recently, the research in ICS cybersecurity has intensified leading to significant results for continuous time and discrete events-controlled systems. However, cybersecurity issues in motion control systems that are frequently employed in different manufacturing resources such as machine tools and industrial robots were not sufficiently explored. This work provides an overview of the cybersecurity related challenges in motion control tasks. © 2023 IEEE.

Traditional networking designs are struggling to keep up with the needs of contemporary applications and consumers as networking technologies advance. The emergence of software-defined networking (SDN) as a viable technique to address these issues is encouraging. By dividing the network's control plane and data plane, allowing for programmable control of network resources, and supporting network virtualization, SDN allows for more adaptable and efficient network administration. Software-defined networking (SDN) is the subject of the study, which aims to describe its advantages and disadvantages, as well as its architecture, methodology, essential technologies (OpenFlow, network virtualization, SD-WAN), and other relevant topics. Both Google's deployment of SDN in its data centre networks and TMNA's deployment of SD-WAN are discussed in the article as real-world examples of successful SDN deployments. This research study also includes case studies of successful SDN deployments at individual firms, offering in-depth examination of the advantages and disadvantages of putting SDN into practice in the real world. The document also includes suggestions and best practices for deploying and managing SDN, as well as methods for addressing the issues that might arise during implementation. In the end, the article finds that software-defined networking is a promising technology with the potential to revolutionize network infrastructure by making it possible to administer networks in a way that is both more adaptive and more secure. However, in order to reap the advantages of SDN, deployment must be carefully planned and executed, and businesses must be willing to invest in new hardware and software. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper summarizes the key application and importance of DL(Deep Learning) technology in communication system performance optimization. First of all, it emphasizes the key role of communication system in modern society and economy, and the challenges brought by the increasing communication demand. In addition, the multiple applications of DL in communication systems are emphasized, including signal processing and beamforming, channel estimation and equalization, resource allocation and power control. DL model can also be used to detect network intrusion and malicious attacks. In this experiment, DL model is compared with traditional methods in network intrusion detection rate. At different time points, the detection rate of DL model fluctuated, but remained at a high level on the whole. At 12 hours, the detection rate is close to 0.9. Compared with DL model, the detection rate of traditional method fluctuates greatly, and it is obviously lower than DL model at some time points. At the time point of 12 hours, the detection rate of traditional methods is about 0.7. It can be seen that DL model can effectively detect network intrusion and malicious attacks at different time points, and has better performance than traditional methods. © 2024 SPIE.

Satellite constellations have the potential for enabling globe-spanning quantum networks for secure communication, entanglement distribution, and eventually the quantum internet. The architecture, design, and operation of such space quantum networks face several challenges, from scheduling, performance analysis and optimization, and overcoming issues such as weather effects. Here, we summarise recent research into constellation design, optimization, and the incorporation of quantum memories and repeaters in space quantum communication links. These preliminary works offer guidance for future development efforts for long-term space quantum communication systems. © 2025 SPIE.

all optical packet switching is the most desirable and faster switching technology that enhances the speed and data transmission rate. In order to provide high performance communication networks with high throughput, low latency, high terminal reliability, high component reliability, low cross talk, low ASE noise, low bit error rate, and high fault tolerance capability for all optical packet switched networks, a novel interconnection architecture, namely, the Data Vortex (DV) switch was explored. This paper presents a thorough review of various Data Vortex architectures and a comparison of these architectures on the basis of different performance parameters. InfiniBand interconnect network is widely used in parallel computing. network adapter (HCA) is one of the necessary hardware components for architecture deployment. With the expansion of nodes in parallel computing system, InfiniBand network may have higher performance requirements. However, the current InfiniBand network uses deterministic routing, and adaptive routing can be introduced to meet higher requirements. Because the original InfiniBand protocol is strictly sequence-preserving, adding adaptive routes to the network improves performance but requires out-of-order rearrangement of network cards, which requires a certain cache capability. In this paper, the function extension of InfiniBand protocol is designed to realize the adaptive function and complete the modeling and simulation. Two indexes related to out-of-order are also designed in this paper, and the direct influence of adaptive routing on packet out-of-order and network adapter buffer depth is studied from many aspects. Through the simulation of the above system, the experimental result of all-to-all communication between model nodes shows that under the Greedy and RoundRobin adaptive port selection algorithms, the buffer depth required by the network card is 61 and 62 2KB of packet space, respectively. This provides an estimate of the buffer that the network card needs to handle out-of-order packets. © 2024 SPIE.

Departing from multimedia services among multiple access networks, the Integrated Multimedia Subsystems (IMS) technology is required to enhance communication flexibility and efficiency. However, the growing need for secure, auditable and non-modifiable systems has made clear the shortcomings of conventional IMS in particular when it comes to security and privacy *** article is trying to solve the security issues in IMS by using blockchain technology and propose a novel architecture which reduces data integrity, authentication and access control in telecom networks without the direct or indirect involvement of a third *** study designed a hybrid architecture through integrating IMS and the blockchain platform. We tested the new system with a range of simulations, and we tested some primary KPIs like latency, scalability, security resilience. Assessments were based on expert interviews and comparison studies against existing models in *** integrated blockchain-IMS approach leaded to substantial enhancement in security measures, resulting in 40% decrease in identity theft occurrences and 30% fall in unauthorized data access attempts. It means the system maintains acceptable (not so low, around 2ms base latency but smooth) latency and scales good with increasing networking *** possible solution for enhanced communication network security could be an integration of IMS and Blockchain technology. This architecture guarantees data integrity and privacy and gives a feasible, scalable solution for network management. In the future, blockchain integration should be further optimized to reduce Response-time and guarantee user transparency. © 2024 FRUCT Oy.

This paper presents a comprehensive experimental study of a novel trust-based security architecture for edge computing environments. We introduce an adaptive security framework that combines dynamic trust evaluation with decentralized decision-making mechanisms to enhance threat detection and system resilience. Through extensive simulation experiments, we evaluate the architecture's performance across various network configurations, ranging from 20 to 100 nodes, with different operational parameters and security event patterns. The simulation framework implements a sophisticated spatial distribution model for edge nodes, incorporating computational constraints, memory limitations, and communication boundaries typical of edge computing environments. Our results demonstrate that the proposed architecture achieves an 83.0% threat detection rate while maintaining network resilience at 95.6%, significantly exceeding baseline security requirements. The trust management mechanism demonstrates robust adaptation to security events, maintaining average trust scores of 78.6% despite active security incidents. We provide detailed analysis of system behavior under various attack scenarios, including intrusion attempts, data leaks, DDoS attacks, and authentication failures. The architecture shows exceptional scalability characteristics, with improved detection rates and trust stability in larger network configurations. Performance metrics reveal consistent achievement above target thresholds across all evaluated dimensions, with minimum trust levels maintaining a 7.2 percentage point margin above requirements. Our findings provide empirical validation of the architecture's effectiveness while offering practical insights into deployment considerations for edge computing security. The study contributes to the field by establishing quantitative benchmarks for security performance in edge environments and demonstrating the viability of trust-based security mechanisms for distributed
