Technological developments in milking machines have drastically changed the industry of dairy products by increasing both productivity and effectiveness. To address the fuel issue and the current problem of milk machines being too expensive for farmers to buy manually operated pumps, less expensive than the milk machines that are used currently, were developed. In order to reduce the manpower needed to operate and to reduce the effort of humans to pump milk, artificial hands are being employed to pump milk. The primary focus of the system is the machine's operation, which needs on electricity to function. Since there won't always be an electrical supply in communities, we've integrated solar and battery power as a backup. The quality of milk was analyzed and different milk quality parameters were tabulated using random forest algorithm. The testing was carried out for 100ml milk samples. Additionally, it has the ability to sense the flow of milk and control the speed at which cows are milked.

In today's rapidly changing technological environment, there is a rising acknowledgment of the need for independent living for visually impaired people who confront major social inclusion issues. They may need human support to navigate these situations. visually impaired people frequently lack access to critical information about their surroundings because visual information is crucial to most daily actions. Support for visually impaired people is on the rise; however, some factors bring about disparity in this support. Most of the recent developments in assistive technology create a platform to not only address this particular gap but also enhance, especially the support for the visually impaired. This research intends to develop an application for the Android platform to encourage self-reliance and social inclusion of the visually impaired. It uses current communication technologies, artificial intelligence, visual recognition, and machine learning. The application includes features like voice command, OCR, navigation, emergency call, screen reader, and connectivity to other service apps such as uber, among others. Moreover, it works in Kannada also to encourage its usage. The primary objective is to promote more freedom and inclusion among the sight impaired. This smart solution seeks to enhance the standards of living for blind or vision impaired people and motivate their active participation in modern technological advances by encouraging them to interact with the surroundings through the different features of the app.

The use of slow-speed low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicles (UAvs) is becoming increasingly widespread, and the characteristics of low-altitude, slow-speed, and small targets make them difficult to be captured by traditional radar detection means. The method of photoelectric following has become a hot issue in current anti-UAvs field. In this paper, we focus on UAv tracking and aiming, and design a UAv tracking and aiming system based on a motion platform, which uses position closed-loop PID control algorithm to control the servo turntable DC motor and captures target images with a high-resolution camera. Then, the YOLO_v4 and OpenCv algorithms are used for image recognition. Besides, this system is based on STM32 tracking system integrated control software for overall system control. Finally, the generality, rationality and stability of the experimental system are verified through real tests. It is shown that YOLO_v4 recognition algorithm has strong background adaptability but slow recognition rate, while OpenCv algorithm has fast recognition rate but is only applicable to pure sky background. We can choose suitable algorithms for different sky background conditions.

At the dawning of the beyond 5G era, broadband last mile connectivity is stimulating rapid developments in optical and wireless technologies that will efficiently handle the traffic generated by mobile users and demanding network applications. To this end, multiple Radio Access (multi-RAT) technologies operating at various millimeter wave (mmWave) frequency bands, e.g., v-/E-/D-band are being actively pursued, in parallel with the investigation of efficient fiber wireless fronthaul schemes, e.g. Analog Radio over Fiber (aRoF) or Intermediate Frequency over Fiber (IFoF), to deliver low-complexity, broadband, last-mile connectivity. However, integration of such novel technologies in an actual mobile network infrastructure remains a challenge, as it needs to support compatibility with the network operators' equipment. The current talk aims to present a holistic Fiber Wireless (FiWi) connectivity, demonstrating the co-existence of Analog and Digital RoF traffic along with flexible, reconfigurable point-to-multipoint connectivity to multi-RAT antenna units. Experimental results on high capacity FiWi fronthaul links operating in the v- (60 GHz) and D- (145 GHz) will be presented. Moreover, end-to-end, integrated real-time traffic and network operation will also be discussed and experimentally presented, indicating a possible technology roadmap towards multi-RAT 6G networks.

The work presented here shows a compact lens system that demonstrates improved imaging quality performance while focusing on as-built performance and design for manufacturing. Using Zemax, we consider an approach for optimizing for as-built performance and incorporate the approach into the design process for a mobile phone camera. The optimized design consists of 6 plastic aspheric lenses, an infrared glass filter, and a 12 MP CMOS image sensor. The optical system demonstrates high-resolution imaging and has a field-of-view of 87.6 degrees, an F-number of 2.0, a maximum distortion of less than 2.5%, and a total track length of 6.630 mm.

The innovative FEL design by the CompactLight Collaboration is briefly presented. The major contribution of our team, mainly from Greece cooperating with the team of ESS-ERIC, is emphasised to the material selection of the proper photocathode illuminated with the relevant laser, the magnet and solenoid design of the injector for optimum beam conditions, the 3D CAD model design of the baseline FEL facility including the machine, the tunnel, the beam dump and the experimental hall. Within the development of the second Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) far detector module, based on the Liquid Argon Time Projection Chamber (LAr-TPC) technology, new solutions for the Photon Detection System (PDS) readout and bias have been proposed. The vertical Drift (vD) design presents a PDS installed on the cathode plane that is biased at high voltage (300 kv), thus preventing any electrical connection between Silicon PhotoMultipliers (SiPMs), located in the PDS, and the outside of the interface. The chosen solution is to provide power through optical fibers, implementing Power over Fiber (PoF) technology in the field of cryogenic experiments. The optical-to-electrical converters commercially available give an output voltage of a few volts and a step-up converter is needed to provide SiPM with a supply voltage that can be set around 48 v. A boost DC-DC converter has been chosen for the voltage step-up. This solution requires an analog feedback loop control with discrete components working at cryogenic temperatures. This paper presents the characterization of operational amplifiers needed for the analog control scheme. Due to the requirements of the application, quiescent current, offset voltage, offset input current, and bias input current have been measured in function of the temperature, from around 170 K to 330 K. Finally, the measurement uncertainty has been calculated and presented in this paper.

The article discusses the main disadvantages of the current design of a quantum frequency standard based on rubidium-87 atoms. The main disadvantages of the current design of the quantum frequency standard on rubidium-87 atoms are considered. It is noted that the processes associated with light shifts in the optical part contribute to the greatest instability in the long-term operation of the quantum frequency standard. A solution is proposed to improve the design of the rubidium standard. A forecast for improving its metrological characteristics is presented. In this thesis, a low-power dissipation high-speed double-tail dynamic comparator is designed. Based on the principles of charge-steering, a clock charge pump is used at the tail of the latch stage to replace the clock current source, which reduce the output swing and kick-back noise of the comparator. Meanwhile, digital logic is added to the pre-amplification stage to eliminate quiescent current and further reduce power consumption. Based on the SMIC 28nm CMOS process, the proposed comparator is simulated and verified. The results show that under the condition of 0.9v supply voltage and 1MHz sampling frequency, the power dissipation is 5.4μW, the delay is 245ps, and the offset voltage is 6.9mv. Compared with a high-speed comparator, under the premise of achieving the same performance, the power consumption is reduced by 69%. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Recent advancements in solar cell technology have unveiled the potential of nanowire (NW) structures, particularly those incorporating III-v materials, for enhanced light absorption and reduced material consumption compared to traditional planar designs. Our research introduces a novel core-shell heterojunction design featuring a p-type GaAs truncated cone NW core and ShN 4 /TiO 2 shell. In this study, the short-circuit current density (J sc ), open-circuit voltage (v oc ), power conversion efficiency (PCE) and fill factor (FF) are evaluated to determine the optoelectronic performance of the investigated NWs. Through comprehensive simulations, it has been demonstrated that the optimized structure significantly reduces optical losses and improves minority carrier transport, achieving a power efficiency of 22.487% with an enhancement of 49.74% over conventional truncated cone NWs. This innovative approach yielded a short circuit current density of 26.45 mA/cm2, marking a significant advancement in radial junction NW solar cells.
